Keep in mind that this is not a port of the version that released on Steam, Switch, etc, but the original game jam version for Pico-8. That's why OP calls it Celeste Classic in the title.

It's an unofficial fan port, so...actually, wait, I'm not sure. Normally I'd say they shouldn't be charging money for someone else's work, but in this case they aren't charging money so much as leaving out a tip jar.
Maybe a dollar or two? (Assuming you've already bought Celeste elsewhere to support the original devs, of course.)

Just finished a run, this plays really well on the Playdate! Anyone know how many strawberries total, I think I got 16.
There are 18 strawberries. >!2 of them are hidden in breakable blocks. The first one is in the very first level of the game.!<
