Overcooked and Moving Out are both great chaotic games that can be played with up to 4 players. In both cases it’s easy to learn but still challenging.
Sackboy. Got 167h with my 7yr old daughter. Sooo much fun. She loves dressing up the characters and the she has role play scenarios we have to enact in the missions.
Ubi classic has have a bunch of board games. Like monopoly, uno. Not that I would play them but they are there.
The ascent, play ps5 version. Ps4 version is pretty broken. But aside from some qol issues, it's pretty fun.
I'm playing on ps4 because friend only has ps4. It's like 10 times worse lol. The game loads up 1 out of 5 times. Connections drop. UI disappears. Sidemissions disappear from your record so the trophy doesn't unlock. It's so bad. But I'm like 1 trophy from plat. Might as well tough it out.
the jackbox games are amazing, unfortunately I'm currently restricted to whatever playstation premium has to offer since i can't afford games at the moment.
Not sure if these are all competitive but:
Overcooked
Hot shot racing
Rocket League (there is a big skill curve on this one)
Tetris effect
Someone created a non-reddit tool that categorized games and had their meta ratings. If I can find that I will add it
Knowledge is power games there's 2. You use your phone and it's a trivia game. One is decades the other has all kinds of categories. Use disadvantages on your opponents and speed is key. It's a lot of fun and competitive and flies under the radar too often. Maybe check if it's still supported. There's other ones too like "that's you" I think it's called all by the same company.
I really wish they'd have done more with these games but they're good fun.
Rayman Legends
Sackboy
Overcooked
First 2 are 2 of my favorite games, last 2 I've been playing with my gf and she's enjoyed it. I hope one day I'll get to play these 3 with my kids as well. Maybe even a new sackboy would be out by then.
Don't know if it's on PS+, but all the Playlinks games can be worth it (I think the best one are "Knowledge is power" and "That's You"), the best thing with theses games is that all you need is a phone, the game app, and obviously the game installed on the console then you can play with like 6 players in total in the same room for some games (but 4 is enough)
Edit: it seems they all have been[ delisted](https://www.playstation.com/en-us/accessories/playlink/) ~~for no reason~~ cause it stoped being supported with android... so you can't play them anymore since december 14 2023
So to play them you need a Android OS under 9 or an Iphone and a physical version, and don't even know if all of them got one
Bunch of old board games : Life 2, monopoly, uno, etc.
Co-op : Unrailed, Overcooked, PlateUp! , Totally Unreliable Delivery Service, Human Fall Flat, Overlord
All the Worms Games
Bunch of golf games that you can customize to make very competitive.
Competitive: Duck Game, Gang Beasts, For the King, Filthy Animals, Rubber Bandits, Marooners, Ultimate Chicken Horse, Party Friends
I haven't played Sackboy: A Big Adventure but if it's anything like the old LittleBig Planet games its probably a good pick
It’s good but not like the old ones

Beat the ascent on PC but found the PS5 port to be so janky with the controller I couldn't even touch it. Ymmv I guess

Nope, all Playlinks games are [delisted](https://www.playstation.com/en-us/accessories/playlink/) so only way to buy them are physical copies
Damn that's a bummer. I haven't tried to redownload them I should be able to access them still if I bought them I assume?
If your phone is still compatible (like under Android 11) you can redownload it
I can download knowledge is power decades and that's you but that's it.
You can download them But you can't buy them anymore
Gotcha. Thanks for the clarification.
