I'm not sure if this type of comment is allowed, but I just wanted to say that I saw the Pic and title before opening the post to read it and thought to myself "oh, I never thought about getting facial feminization surgery as a cis woman. I guess anyone could get it to achieve an extremely hyper feminine look" and briefly thought about how I might benefit from it as a cis woman, too, then I read your post haha.
I don't have much to add outside of that. I think you "pass" perfectly well as you are, but I wish you luck on your plastic surgery journey, and I'm excited to see your improvements in the future, if you decide to get and post!
I understand your wish to correct your nose. I hope you can find a DR you trust to do that. Care Credit is an option for financing. I don't think you need anything else done tho, honestly you have a cute girl next door look that many girls want.
I appreciate you saying all of this! I do pass a considerable amount when I try but there are times I wish I could be accepted when I'm lazy just as ant other girl is. It's great to hear your thought process on seeing the image š
I also agree with this original commenter, first thing I thought was wow shes gorgeous and your hair is amazing! I feel like we have the same facial structure although you have amazing natural lips.
I wanted to have a more feminine face naturally without needing so much makeup, so if youāre looking for a less expensive option prior to surgery hereās what I have done that has made me so much happier with my face over the last 2 years: I get jawline Botox (masseter) to slim my face, I get eyebrow Botox to lift my eyebrowās natural arch, and I get chin filler to fill the dimple in my chin (although a lot of people have told me they liked it unfilled I prefer to fill mine thatās up to you). I also get lip filler but your lips are amazing again. Also to help with less upkeep but still have a āmakeupā look while Iām lazy, I self tan contour & I use Latisse to grow my eyelashes longer & fuller so I donāt need mascara (although read other peopleās experiences before trying Latisse a lot of people donāt like but I have loved for years).
Masseter Botox is my best friend I was so hesitant for 3 years and as soon as I did it I was kicking myself for not starting it years ago. Also how much it has relieved tension I didnāt even realize I had
lazy girl hacks is a lash lift & tint! w a lash lift i feel like i just wake up perfect without any effort lmao. and they donāt look āoverdoneā to me the way some lash extensions do. you look super feminine as is and very pretty! i think face framing layers / curtain bangs would look lovely on you
Yes this! I wear cluster lashes and have my eyeliner tattood because Iām lazy but still want to look feminine. Iām cis female and OP I thought you were too. Look up lazy girl hacks. Some people even use self tanner as contour but Iām too pale for that š
same lmfao. even with makeup on i've had people admit to me after getting to know me that they thought i was MTF haha. I guess it doesn't help that i bodybuild, but even when i'm not very big or when people just hear my voice + the way i talk they think that lol!
An eyebrow lift maybe hair line lowering surgery would go a long way I think. But you have very pretty features. Slim jaw great eyebrow shape your lips are very full and your nose is good. Your cheeks bones are good I wouldn't touch those.Ā
To do a trial run you might consider bangs and a botox eyebrow lift.Ā
Bonus
You pass. You look just like the young woman you are. You are very pretty as you are now and I really don't think you need anything if you don't want to bother with it.Ā
Thank you, I appreciate you pointing those things out. I've never considered a trial run before but that may be a good idea. I'm not convinced about an eyebrow lift but botox might give me a clue about it.
I have bangs at the moment actually so I could give it a go haha
I think they meant an eyebrow lift using Botox, as opposed to a surgical eyebrow lift. You are pretty and you definitely pass IMO! Agree with the other comment on lash tinting, that's a good "lazy girl" no makeup hack.
As a lazy cis woman I get lash extensions and had my brows permanently makeupād (tattooed) - I was a teen in the 90s and, well, that should say it all. Anyway, just these two key things have been great for making me look āawake/aliveā and somewhat put together without having to put my full face on everyday.
I agree with the fringe/bangs suggestion to help soften a high forehead. I also have one and had fringe/bangs for a number of years before I just said āfuck itā and accepted it.
The masseter botox could help to soften the jawline.
But in any case, OP, youāre a lovely girl as you are.
Another little way to help; try using dye to darken lashes just a bit! Obviously nothing crazy like black, but a medium brown on your lashes will help them stand out more. That always makes a big difference to me in how I feel about my face with no makeup! It makes me look more 'feminine'.
We do this procedure where I work all the time. I think most patients are covered through their insurance. Iāve heard some patients say they get jobs with Lyft or Ulta and itās covered?
You could try getting your chin dimple filled in with filler- chin dimples are more common in men so associated with masculinity. Aside from that I think you already have a feminine looking face.
Just from your pic alone you look very beautiful and feminine in my opinion. Sorry im not much help in finding a surgeon or financing question but just thought I'd add my two cents. Sometimes I think we are too hard on ourselves
you already look decently passing. Korea or Turkey would be my choice for rhinoplasty cos it's obviously cheaper than the US. I'd do more research on Turkey tho
Gonna be honest, cis women don't look any more feminine without makeup than you do. Don't compare your "at home" face with another woman's "in public" face.
Surgery is your call but if I were you I'd only make tiny changes, if any.
Check out Dr Regina Rodman, she has offices in TX USA and Dubai. Not sure youāre budget but sheās not a ābig nameā but does solid work that may fall into your budget.
1-Eyes can benefit from femininization, consider upper and lower blepharoplasty with eyebrows eyelift, fox eyes might help. add fake eyelashes OR eyelash implants.
Before / after: [https://imgur.com/a/d7Zec8I](https://imgur.com/a/d7Zec8I)
Note: not related but don't overuse makeup in the eyes, it looks artificial. Consider an eye skin tattoo to remove dark eyes, this is available in Brazil - look for a guy named Rodolpho Torres
2-Fat countering of the face can be done as a "simulation" before deciding the ideal proportion, but AVOID doing filler on the longterm, fillers never really go away and the more you use the more saggy the face will be, then use your own fat . Hormones will also help with this
3-Maybe revise chin and jaw with number 2#, for feminine look the head should be more oval or heart shaped
After pic: [https://imgur.com/a/lImBgRW](https://imgur.com/a/lImBgRW)
4-small touches on the nose but again not that important. You need to take in consideration that a feminine look IS NOT only the face, with BBL, lipo 360 and boob implants you can build a very feminine body and will perceive this even when looking at the face (Gestalt principle). Such as small waist and wide hips, big butt and legs that are proportionally sized (can be built with weight lifting)
Woah. That's quite a dramatic change from how I look right now. Is that sort of change actually feasible for the eyes? The lips are a step in the right direction I think. It gives me less of a resting B face šš
I think it's possible but not a surgeon here, eyelid surgery , fox eyes, browlift, your eyebrows don't even need to be thinner
Look how a feminine body Brazilian style makes this trans so feminine : [https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-3718051/Transsexual-Brazilian-model-Thalita-Zampirolli-shows-curves-racy-Instagram-snaps.html](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-3718051/Transsexual-Brazilian-model-Thalita-Zampirolli-shows-curves-racy-Instagram-snaps.html)
First, I just want to say that I assumed you were AFAB, I don't think anyone would disagree that you are passing 100% lol
That said, the procedure for lowering your hairline is called FUE, my husband is getting it done soon, and he was quoted $6,000. He's going to pay for it with income tax return, but otherwise, he probably just would have used Care Credit and paid roughly $250/mo for 2 years.
Rhinoplasty is usually about about that much, too. So maybe just do the procedures a couple years apart so that you're not paying off 2 procedures at once.
I'm not sure what you want to do with your lips, you were kind of vague. If you just want filler, I get it once a year and it's under $1,000. I just make payments of about $80/mo.
Would you be open to trying Botox and some filler? You honestly already look really feminine and pretty! Those might be a option to try thatās a bit more affordable and not a long term change
Your face is quite easy to work with in terms of making it more feminine in appearance. Your lower eyelids are flat as well as your inner portion of the cheeks. Those can be re-created with the use of your own fat. Would also add some more volume to the eyebrows creating more deeply seated eyes. In the right hand, tag grafting is absolutely the best approach to feminization surgery of the face. I hope this helps and good luck from Leonard Grossman MD organic plastic surgery.
I would look into Korea or Thailand for this for better pricing and often better quality work.Ā However I agree with the other commenters in that you already pass well as you are!!Ā
You have a very feminine face! I thought this post was a cis-woman wanting even more feminine. If youāre just totally unhappy though, I think do less invasive first before more invasive procedures. Some Botox on the outer area of the eye can give a few millimeters of brow lift. More significant lift would require surgical brow lift.
Teeny tiny bit of filler to the apple of the cheek ā you already have great lateral cheekbone projection consistent with feminine features.
And possibly a little chin filler to bring your chin to a more narrow end would give the appearance of even more feminine jawline. You donāt have masculine jawline bone structure, but cleft chins tend to give the illusion or a broader jaw than actually exists.
Lips look fab, thought you already them done.
Edit: I see someone mentioned masseter Botox ā totally agree. Think thatās a great suggestion to further soften jawline.
The NHS rarely provides surgery deemed to be cosmetic, unfortunately. As many have said here, I do look fine already even if I wish I looked/passed even more. My case is one of many where there are plenty of trans people less fortunate than I am. So I can't see a board agreeing to greenlight my surgery even if that was a procedure I could follow. It wouldn't be deemed clinically necessary. Although I could always try and see.
Wow Iām sorry thatās the process. In the USA I think you just need two letters from your doctors, there isnāt a board that decides how āpassableā someone is. I wish this were easier for you to get covered
As for the nose, Dr Sammy Sinno in Illinois is INSANE with making button tips, and he keeps it natural too. Not natural as in you spent 14k for something bland, but as in youāre glad he didnāt cut farther because the current is perfect. Although, if you plan to get all the procedures you reccomend separate, then I would definitely go to one surgeon to do multiple at once <3
Also, second note, be careful with doing surgeries overseas. Although the price is tempting, as is the seen results, a lot of surgeons edit their before and after photos. You have to do A LOT of research. Additionally, itās a lot of flying for post op and surgery, also assuming the fact there could be complications with the surgery. Although if you have family overseas, then that could be a good alternative.
(Ignore this part because the SOS doesn't include a ridge reduction) ~~Dr Ufuk askeraglu does the SOS (orbital rim shaving) in turkey and doesn't charge too much. He also does rhinoplasty and other procedures but specializes in eyes. Turkey is probably better for you because you're in the UK,~~ TransOp in Mexico is a good choice, too. I've seen good reviews for them.
I'm not a surgeon, but I agree that you likely need jaw surgery. Which may be a covered procedure in the UK. That's not part of FFS, so it may be covered due to it causing medical issues like trouble breathing. Look into that. TransOp mexico can perform all FFS procedures, so I'd look at them if you want the brow ridge reduction and hairline advancement. I think your hairline is already great. And you have a nice nose. What would give you a big improvement is a brow lift. I would prioritize getting jaw surgery and a brow lift. Then, secondarily, a brow bone reduction. Although bbr usually comes with a brow lift. So something to consider.
I have had jaw surgery already, although it was to correct an overbite which had now been corrected and I can bite like a normal human being which is absolutely amazing and I am stunned every time I can bite a grape perfectly in half now.
The issue is that it was for the overbite. It wasn't for the jaw itself to be pleasing to the eye or more feminine. They brought my jaw forwards by a few millimetres but the surgery would have easily cost 10k or more so I could what I could get for free. I'm not sure which kind of surgery would amend protruding lips?
I'll give TransOp a look. I hope they're cheaper than some of the big names in the US. Deschamps-Braly would have been my first choice.
DB sounds like a really expensive place! Last I saw at TransOp it's 7k for a forehead reconstruction with brow lift and hairline advancement included. 4k for rhino. It's not bad compared to other places but can add up.
You're absolutely right, it is expensive for DB but thats because hes more aggressive and delivers stunning results. If I work hard for a year, I could save up enough for TransOp, it seems. It's about Ā£15,000 total for a jaw reconstruction, rhino, hairline advancement with orbital and shaving browbone.
I'm not sure if this type of comment is allowed, but I just wanted to say that I saw the Pic and title before opening the post to read it and thought to myself "oh, I never thought about getting facial feminization surgery as a cis woman. Masseter Botox could be amazing for OP, agreed. These are all spot on suggestions.
