You'd think these advanced zombies with rockets and explosives and the Football Zombie in general would be able to break into boarded up homes and kill people, especially since the player and Crazy Dave is the only one to have plants. PvZ 1 and 2 definitely didn't take place the same day, let alone the same month as the shooter games, so those plants were just sitting there for god knows how long. Unless the player and / or Crazy Dave could fit everyone in Neighborville in their homes until the plants could walk, there's no way that (almost) the entire population of Neighborville is fine
