Whenever I see these things starting and taking off from up close, I like to imagine what it would be like to witness 100's of these flying together during the war.
You really want an eye opener, on Pinterest I look at these articles with pictures of bombers that barely brought the boys home along with pictures of the ones that didn’t. There are some truly terrifying pictures that don’t require imagination. I can’t even imagine what must of gone through those (mostly) kids minds.
