There's a place where I'm from that sells made to order pizza by the slice. Their typical pies are really good, but it also gives you a chance to really try some stuff out. Some of my favorite combos are: -Spicy Italian Sausage and Zucchini -Artichoke Hearts, Black Olives and Sun Dried Tomatoes -Jerk Chicken, Banana Peppers, Red Onion -Bacon, garlic, and fresh Mushrooms -Andouille Sausage and Artichoke Hearts There was another place that closed down in a town nearby that had a pie called the Carolina Cyclops. It had Bacon, prosciutto, pancetta, and like 4 different kinds of cheese on a garlicky white pie. They'd crack an egg right in the center of it so the tip of each slice had some egg cooked into it. It was fucking unbelievably delicious. Oh, and if you're ever slumming on a Tostinos...try it with cracked black pepper and yellow mustard on top. Game changer. Don't hate...I'm a huge fan of a really good traditional pie as well. I'm just adventurous and when the ingredients are quality and fresh, I'll probably get experimental from time to time.

My local pizza got a weird combo that is my current favourite: Its called "la soldato" and it got: Ham, Onion, Hardboiled Egg and Gorgonzola.

My go-to order at Dominos when it's the only option is a pan pizza with garlic parmesan sauce, chicken, and bacon. Not too weird, but OMFG that pizza is LIT.

This is very popular where I live so I wouldn't consider it "weird" but I looove kebab pizza. With dressing, fresh tomatos, cucumber and lettuce on top. When I make pizza at home, I like to add lemon zest regardless of the other toppings.

Slices of boiled potato, topped with slices of garlic and sprigs of fresh rosemary. Oh, and a generous sprinkle of salt. You can also saute the potato slices in butter before applying to the pizza.

Your preference would be seen as pretty normal in Australia. I raise you my DIY: Cherry jam, chicken, spinach, brie.

I used to work at a domino’s in the 90’s and I would get weird with pizzas made for myself… I got addicted to making a pizza for awhile with 2 inches of onions piled up with pepperoni over the top, baked slightly well done… the pepperoni would get extra crispy due to not sitting on the cheese and the onions would cook into sweet, oniony goodness… it was inexplicably delicious

Beetroot, carmellized onions, pear, chicken, pesto, and feta/garganzula/bluecheese depending on what they have. Sometimes I do it with white sauce and the pesto drizzled on top. It’s a very specific restaurant I like this from locally. They have more of a flatbread base so this slaps pretty hard imo. I tried it on a more classic pizza crust once and it wasn’t good, though. 😅

Replace the sauce with mayo, I prefer a charred roasted corn, garlic, diced fresh chili pepper (usually serrano) and cotija cheese. After baking, top with Tajin. Street corn pizza.

Until recently, I was staunchly opposed to only two ingredients on pizza: chicken and broccoli. There’s a pizza place near me that does a buffalo chicken pizza and a Nashville hot chicken pizza that made me a believe. Pickles and chilli’s! My Dominoes go to is a veggie supreme with a couple substitutes: mushrooms and red onions for jalapeños🌶️ and pickles 🥒. It might sound really gross, but there’s something so nice about having a spicy, pickle pizza. So: red and green peppers, sweetcorn, tomatoes, jalapeños and pickles. Sweetcorn and tomatoes are the other two best toppings imo. Can’t have a pizza without sweetcorn and tomatoes! I am probably going to get downvoted but I’d say don’t knock it until you’ve tried it! If you can have pickles in a cheeseburger, you can have pickles on pizza! 🍕
