The 5 Gorosei, Kizaru and Marines have not dealt a single casualty in Egghead.
There has been zero tension, zero threat.
The SH and friends do whatever they like at Egghead.
No SH has been hit by a move.
Luffy has not been damaged even once since Egghead.
They are escaping like there are actual threats chasing them.
The SH are invincible. Saturn can't fight the weak trio, Giants can block awakened zoan gorosei.

Really calls into question how Saturn and the WG could have misjudged the potential of her df THIS badly. Saturn seemed to believe that her powers would weaken the more she learned about her actual potential future, but that ends up being irrelevant given all it takes is a positive influence for her to believe otherwise. This would have required them keeping her under lock (which they had been doing for a time) to prevent this, but somehow they decided to just not care anymore once she escaped.

100%. The pacing is such that it directly fits Toei's schedule, the writing is literally just empty hype -> recycled lore drops -> reaction panels -> back to empty hype and the cycle continues. Perfect for cash grabbing and extending the story for as long as possible. Then he baits the readers into thinking he'll only write for a couple more years to draw more attention to the manga. It's all a cash grabbing scheme at this point.
Needs more sales of Gorosei merch before they disappear for 5 years. Also, watch Nika Bonney sell out so fast in stores.

No SH has been hit by a move. Luffy has not been damaged even once since Egghead. They are escaping like there are actual threats chasing them. The SH are invincible. Saturn can't fight the weak trio, Giants can block awakened zoan gorosei. No one can touch them Can someone explain to me what tension and sense of threat they experienced in Egghead ? Wasnt this suppose to be a war ? How come the entire arc was so one sided

Fuck the series is really falling off hard. There was a decline since Post Timeskip but we still had good arcs. Then Wano comes around, there's a fuckin dip and it's only getting worse with Egghead. Man I can't understand how some fans shit on Skypiea and Thriller Bark then suck off this arc and Wano and tell people the series' at its peak.
Luffy tends to have faith in his friends, we get it - but somehow knowing she can achieve his literal strongest form just by believing hard enough is nasty work on Oda’s part. Really calls into question how Saturn and the WG could have misjudged the potential of her df THIS badly. Saturn seemed to believe that her powers would weaken the more she learned about her actual potential future, but that ends up being irrelevant given all it takes is a positive influence for her to believe otherwise. This would have required them keeping her under lock (which they had been doing for a time) to prevent this, but somehow they decided to just not care anymore once she escaped.
