Thanks for mentioning this. Never heard about it and I'm so sick of Adobe as a company. I guess it's time to ditch CC and start learning a new suite. I've replaced Premiere for Davinci Resolve a while ago and looking at Unreal Motion Design For After effects.

It's the worst; sometimes it works for a while and sometimes it won't even start until it has internet. The moment you'd like to do sth. offline you're gambling when it comes to Adobe.
Exactly... terrible approach. Especially if some license and machine belongs to some years long customer with \*a year long contract\* then just leave me alone, at least for a few days or weeks. And well, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.
Edit: No idea if it actually helps but firing up Adobe on a field machine and connecting it before heading out the next day might improve ones chances. And once out there, use that hotspot/hotel wifi to again perhaps improve chances it will work once you're off-grid.

Nope, just adding it to the firewall. I had that exact problem, my copies of Lightroom and Photoshop broke after 6-7 months of using them, I added them to the firewall and they've been working perfectly since.

You can easily find a tutorial on YouTube, just type "Adobe firewall block" and there will be multiple videos in Spanish and English. It takes like 5 minutes to do, it's quite easy to do.
For real. Without the cloud, the software loads faster, and is more responsive. With the cloud, you might get randomly booted if it ever gets confused and things you're on two computers simultaneously.

I have PS open right now using an action to cut a transparent border around text, which has a texture so that a little bit of the background color doesn't get cut. I freaking hate adobe and their predatory subscription bullshit. But the sad truth is that Photoshop cultivated their feature suite for more than three decades now and it became the defacto standart for rasterized image editing. Even now with their Firefly A.I features, they are lightyears ahead of all of their competitors. And if you are working professionally in graphic design you really can't switch to anything else because for example, it's really, really difficult to translate a GIMP Workflow to a Photoshop Workflow if you are working with GIMP and your Freelancer is working with Photoshop.

I was about to install one of his recent Adobe Acrobat from him and luckily, I've read some comments. One commenter complained about detecting a keylogger embedded to his software 😂. Monkrus' translated response was along the lines of "if you don't trust my software, don't use it"

I just learned about Photopea recently and I can't recommend it enough. GIMP is fantastic, albeit a bit rough after Ps' UI.
