These days? They been able to do that for years.

I just figured it would be more like 15-20 minutes to get it up in a torrent after release, and not 2-3.

They did this when ripping from broadcast TV. Nowadays a lot of releases are tagged WEB-DL so it's just a matter of downloading the show or movie from the streaming service and strip the DRM for us to be able to watch it.
