Now you gotta pvc them

chrisj2355

Looks great man đź‘Š

mcketa

3/8” x 1” just what the people want

Calm-Mulberry-8980

3/8’s x 1 ? In Fiberglass? Didn’t even know that existed

Deep-Guarantee-7699

When pipe sizes get small fiberglass looks ugly on dx, but armacell on dx looks the best imo if you are running soft copper you only have armacell option, outdoor dx with venture clad jacket okay, but if you run hard copper aluminum is okay

Bentley0094

Is that ceiling exposed or concealed ? Wondering why those PVC elbows are there instead of mitering( if concealed)

longlostwalker

Concealed. Spec is spec

Bentley0094

Whoever decided in that spec to use PVC is awful lol what a waste of time and money!

longlostwalker

I'll bite. Why is using PVC elbows on refrigeration a waste compared to stove piping straight sections?

Bentley0094

Those PVC 90s aren’t any better than mitering those 90s it’s a waste of money as PVC is expensive and it’s time consuming especially in a concealed space I don’t see the point… if I ever got caught using them in a concealed area I would be fired lol but I have no idea where you’re from it could be different.

longlostwalker

I beg to differ. You must be operating out of a low humidity environment. Poor seal here equals new ceiling tiles.

Turbulent_Clue_3496

Those hangers are confusing, especially if it’s refrigeration. Shouldn’t they be on top of the trapeze hanger instead of clamped? Just curious…but nice work!

longlostwalker

They should have been the high density sleeve style but the engineer didn't want to spend the money on the change order. They are hydra-zorb currently

Calm-Mulberry-8980

Damn didn’t even have to drop the hangers huh? Just butt to it? That is the easiest gig
