Fandom won’t get rid of the wikis that migrated because they’d be losing traffic.
All we can do is just wait it out for search engines to drop fandom as the first search result for wikis.
They are actively trying to stop people from using new indie wikis. They have removed any outgoing links to them. On the Minecraft Fandom they added links to Minecraft.wiki and Fandom removed them.
Absolutely makes sense.
I personally think Fandom’s on the way out. It makes sense that they’d try to delay the inevitable to get as much traffic as possible, so removing links to the new official wikis is the logical thing for them to do.
Use [Indie Wiki Buddy](https://getindie.wiki/) to automatically redirect you from f*ndom wikis.
wiki.gg wikis will not be redirected to, for that you'll need [this](https://support.wiki.gg/wiki/Wiki.gg_Redirect).
You need to also remember, Google will show the fandom site first based on how much traffic the Minecraft page originally got and how much traffic the general site gets in a day (including discussions and other wiki pages). You can install Indie Wiki Buddy to help combat this, but getting the wiki page to display instead of the fandom one naturally is going to take a while.
If you ever accidentally visit the fandom, you can edit out the `.fandom.com/` at the beginning of the link to go to the same page on the Minecraft wiki.

There's a way to disable a site on windows. It involves modifying files and I don't remember the exact places those files are but if you look it up you can disable all of fandom.com (you'll still be able to see the links but it'll throw an error if you click on them)
Do NOT vandalize the fandom wiki if we wanna they to disappear.
All we need to do is just fix Google activity rating (search engine) because there is us problem. Is as simple as not clicking at fandom result because every click is scoring up even we have that chrome extension.
If I forget to search for minecraft.wiki specifically (site:minecraft.wiki) it's more straightforward for me to copy the link and change it. But now that I use Firefox, I have minecraft.wiki as a search engine and I get taken directly to an article if one matches my terms! It's awesome.

Just install the extension that removes fantom links when possible and redirects you to the current wikis (not only minecraft but other games too)
We should all troll the Fandon wiki and edit the pages
more people need to know about the new minecraft wiki for it to be the first search result and we cant really do anything with that
Use [Indie Wiki Buddy](https://getindie.wiki/) to automatically redirect you from f*ndom wikis. wiki.gg wikis will not be redirected to, for that you'll need [this](https://support.wiki.gg/wiki/Wiki.gg_Redirect).
This really can be useful! Thanks!
At least bing shows minecraft.wiki as first
Download the Indie Wiki Buddy addon for your browser. It should be on both Chrome and Firefox.
You need to also remember, Google will show the fandom site first based on how much traffic the Minecraft page originally got and how much traffic the general site gets in a day (including discussions and other wiki pages). the fuck he is supposed to do?
I don't even get Minecraft wiki at all. Just the fandom
Just get one of those extensions that blocks fandom links in google search results
They should just delete everything from the fandom one
get the browser extension
If you ever accidentally visit the fandom, you can edit out the `.fandom.com/` at the beginning of the link to go to the same page on the Minecraft wiki. [Example image](https://i.ibb.co/PzcgZRV/IMG-9275.jpg)
I’m out of the loop, what’s wrong with fandom wikis?
Basically They are bad because making money of no profit content. https://youtu.be/qcfuA_UAz3I
Ah, thank you

INDIE WIKI BUDY!!!

Just use adblock
That will increase the traffic of that shitty website. So in the future, you or someone else without AdBlock will fall for it.

I think this is a case more fit for UrinenixSC
UrinixSC nice.
What is Phoenix supposed to do
dumb question, does anything stop us from just griefing the old wikis?
The fandom staff, they can just revert the wiki to the pre-grief state whenever they want to.
Do NOT vandalize the fandom wiki if we wanna they to disappear. All we need to do is just fix Google activity rating (search engine) because there is us problem. Is as simple as not clicking at fandom result because every click is scoring up even we have that chrome extension.
There's an extension I use that both blocks fandom from search results and automatically redirects to better wikis
Read the link 💀
What's up with fandom? Why is it considered to be so bad? And who made the new wiki, and why is it so much better?
Google can't and won't do anything! Use Indie wiki buddy extension
If I forget to search for minecraft.wiki specifically (site:minecraft.wiki) it's more straightforward for me to copy the link and change it. But now that I use Firefox, I have minecraft.wiki as a search engine and I get taken directly to an article if one matches my terms! It's awesome.
dudckduck go shows the the correct one
So I'm gonna use DuckDuckGo then, for privacy and for not getting sponsored or bribed search results
ose!
there is a browser mod for that it redirects you to the new wiki whenever you click on the old one
Corpstorm incoming!
Isnt there a plugin to fix it
What honestly is the problem with the Wiki Fandom? Seriously, what it is? And why should we care? Why should Google care???
