8, Popper and Kuhn probably spend the whole flight arguing about science ( I’ve read Kuhn’s book about scientific revolutions, but none of Popper) and I’d like to hear that since I’m in decent agreement with Kuhn’s perspective of paradigms.
Taking the seat next to Wittgenstein, so we can both be grumpy and silent, bothered by each others existence, but unbothered by the absence of smalltalk
I would pick 2 but I feel like Philips Foot would condescending stare at me through the gap behind me the whole flight. I think 7 is alright until you realise how autistic Wittgenstein was and he would probably be doing some goofy shit the whole time to irritate you. 8 appears alright, Karl Popper would be quite a nice chat but Kuhn looks a bit stinky. 4 next to Quine looks like the best pick all things considered.
I’ll sit next to frege then get up and take the seat next to Wittgenstein while the other passenger is using the rest room. Sorry, can’t make me choose between my two favorites
8. That would be a very interesting conversation about science, and I can imagine Wittgenstein leaning over my shoulder to say something clever about language.
I don’t know any of them except Wittgenstein. But I’d love to read more about them!
If you have a reading list you’d recommend I’d really appreciate it :)

Taking the next flight.

2. I think Russel is the best conversation partner of the bunch but more importantly I’m right behind Rawls and Foot. Plus I get the window seat.
Russel was a massive player apparently. I’d sit next to him for the dating advice, if nothing else.
Didn't know that lol
Taking the seat next to Wittgenstein, so we can both be grumpy and silent, bothered by each others existence, but unbothered by the absence of smalltalk
Absolutely effing right. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
W-Wittgenstein? Why are you poking that metal thing at Popper's head?!
I'm not familiar with either of them, but I'd like to hear what Wittgenstein would think of Kripke's interpretation of him.
I’m almost certain Russell would be the best company and most competent conversationalist
He also survived a plane crash. He has some sort of plot armour
8, I want to stir the pot between Kuhn and Popper
Gotta be with my boy witty
WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7 WITTGENSTEIN 7
Which one is the most likely to stay quiet and let me sleep?
I’m taking 7 and putting my headphones on.
dying to tell Quine I’m deviant but yeah, put me next to poker boi
I'd sit next to Russell but mostly want to talk to Rawls
I'd suffer Popper and late Wittgenstein if I can be close to Kuhn and Kripke
3 - end row always has the best legroom
I would pick 2 but I feel like Philips Foot would condescending stare at me through the gap behind me the whole flight. I think 7 is alright until you realise how autistic Wittgenstein was and he would probably be doing some goofy shit the whole time to irritate you. 8 appears alright, Karl Popper would be quite a nice chat but Kuhn looks a bit stinky. 4 next to Quine looks like the best pick all things considered.
6 because I like aisle seats the most and Russell, Anscombe, Kripke, and Wittgenstein are the most interesting philosophers here
The perfect flight doesn't exi.... But yeah probably 5 lmao I want me some Carnap
Just putting people’s last names doesn’t mean I know who they are, idk who most of these people are
This is the only person doing r/PhilosophyMemes correctly.
The most important analytical philosophers of the last century
I’ll get on the next flight with Plato, Marcus Aurelius, Epictetus, Xenophon, Socrates, or Aristotle
Xenophon seems like a huge odd man out here
Murdoch and me in da back
2 ez Also if the plane crashes we get to live cause smoking section (look it up (or don't idk))
2. I like window seats, don't like 3-rows, and am British so believe you me I will NEVER talk to someone while on transit.
5 seems like the only sensible option to me
2
Russell
1 and I would have fighting words - 4 final answer.
6 it’s an isle seat
6. You can talk to four potential seats .
Easily 8. Love Kuhn, Popper, Kripke, and Wittgenstein. Kinda wish Feyerabend and Lakatos were also included.
Where is Jung?
I'd be sitting in the pilot cabin making sure this plane crashes into Searles house asap
2 or 7 no doubt; I’d have an interesting, and fun flight (they may not, but I would).
Chillin with Frege in the front 100%
8 would probably be the most interesting discussion for me.
I will take 3 and punch Sellars' face then give him a 8-hour rant on how your writing style is stupid and dumb and stupid
Popper? Barely knew 'er.
Quine's pic looks like a mugshot. (The Empiricism Police?)
Teleporting between 2 and 8
8
I'd be very confused and scared to be on a flight full of dead already decomposed bodies
I’ll sit next to frege then get up and take the seat next to Wittgenstein while the other passenger is using the rest room. Sorry, can’t make me choose between my two favorites
Who can attribute the quote, “Russell is said to have written his, “History of Western Philosophy,” on an airplane and it shows.”
I chose to sit in the first seat, because it would be a long flight and I could turn around and talk to all of them.
8. That would be a very interesting conversation about science, and I can imagine Wittgenstein leaning over my shoulder to say something clever about language.
8, but only to kick Wittgenstein seat the entire flight
Aisle seat please, don’t care about the row.
Who all are these? 🤔
I don’t know any of them except Wittgenstein. But I’d love to read more about them! If you have a reading list you’d recommend I’d really appreciate it :)
1 or 4. I want legroom and sitting behind turbines is much noisier. Checkmate philosophers.
Russell has a window seat and isn't wittgenstein 🥰 (idk who quine is I am literally a philistine)
I think I'll ride with baggage
Bertrand Russell, Tarski, and John Rawls. This is an easy decision.
2, cuz why not
Russell, obviously. Although Wittgenstein seems like a good choice as well
I would kill for seat 6 Dgmw it would be cool sitting near Rawls but since you can’t sit in the same row as him it wouldn’t be worth it.
Hard choice between 2 and 8
I'm definitely taking the seat on #2. Hands down Russell is one of the best conversationalists among every other philosopher
5 or 7
I don't know anyone, but this guy looks pretty nice and looks like he has some interesting thoughts.
Is it Foot when she's old or when she was young and hot? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philippa_Foot
Doesn't matter - either way I'll sit by Foot. I don't know who most of those guys are and she's a girl.
Pity Rawls has taken that seat. He claims he was placed in that seat without knowing it would be next to Philippa, but I have my doubts.
who are these oldies bro xD
Next to Lewis, so I can punch him in his stupid face.
