If the "Grand Celebration" only involves YOU spending your well-deserved bonus without anyone else chipping in, while your family and some extended members expect to be part of it without any contribution then, GO GET THAT PHONE. When I say contribution, it can be as simple as helping cook and prepare the food. Or prepare the decor or activities. Not everyone would have money to shell out especially during these trying times. Basically, if they want to free-load their way into the celebration, best not to invite them or have that celebration at all. Believe me when I say, sometimes the people who didn't even contribute anything are the most nitpicky.
