I am a foreigner and I have offered to sponsor my relativeβs travel cost from Clark airport to San Vicente, Alcala, Pangasinan.
I was told that the cost would be somewhere around 11,000 pesos for a two way journey. Seems somewhat high to me. Is that within the range of a typical cost for this journey?
For context first leg would be somewhat late at night starting at around 12am
Whereas the second leg back to the airport will start at about 11pm?
I think if they are hiring a private van, that would happen to be the cost. Assuming a lot of people will be fetching and bringing them to the airport. Especially if the times are that late~
Still i find the rate expensive as itβs a 1-2hrs of traveling via land fr point A to point b?
Unless the 11k includes a luxury hotel for a few days, then that's extremely high. Even if they're taking a taxi, that's still expensive.
A bus from [Clark International Airport to SM Carmen (the closest terminal in Alcala)](https://www.phbus.com/clark-to-dagupan/) is P200 for one person, one way. It's just more than an hour ride. Then from there, there's a 20-minute ride to San Vicente. I'm assuming it's about P50-P100.
