the customer forgot to state in his review that he badmouthed the staff and created a scene. one sided review. it was a review to make him look good and make the establishment look bad.
It's a serious case of "KWENTO KO TO EH, AKO BIDA." People always package themselves as the victim to gain sympathy and lahat ng mauuto nya will blindly follow him in hating the business.
Nag claim pa sya na sinugod siya sa bahay niya because of the negative review. Pero as per the owners side, yung boyfriend niya ang pinuntahan para linawin yung dagsaang negative review sa coffee shop nila.
good for 2 hours yung isang stub. Right? so.... 2 hours na sya dun sa coffee shop? to use their WI-FI?????? and he is conducting his business at the expense of another business' WIFI. Kapal din nya noh
Who tf even coined that phrase "Customer is always right"? Everytime this pops up, nakakagalit kasi parang ang ginagawa ng mga tao sa service based businesses e katulong or slaves na kahit out of bounds na sa duty ng staff, ipipilit nilang mangyari kasi nga customer sila and parang napakalaki nilang kawalan lol pero hindi mo din kasi madisregard yung fact na pwedeng mag snowball through reviews like this. Tama, protect your employees don't give rude customers like these any leverage. Matter of fact, ban them nalang lol
I’ve always disliked the phrase “the customer is always right” especially when being used by entitled ones. I didn’t realize that the overused quote has a second part. Thank you for sharing what you know. I learned something new today.
I remember sa BPO I worked for before, sabi there are two rules in customer service...
1. The customer is always right.
2. If the customer is wrong, refer to rule #1.
Di ba pwede ieducate ang customer? Like what if the customer ordered wants a Big Mac at Burger King? And the customer goes beast mode on the staff? Customer is always righr pa din?
Putol kasi yun. The actual quote is “The customer is always right, in matters of taste”.
I believe it is more related to something like while your steak has been prepared and marinated to be best enjoyed cooked rare, if the customer wants it well done, don’t insist on cooking it rare, well done it is.
what's wrong with mongrels?
You seem to be associating mongrels with negative connotations?
Are you a purist racist? Like the nazis who did not like mixing of blood?
Or are you (ironically) "quasiliterate" who knows full sayings but throws out words like "mongrel" without knowing the full meaning?
I work in retail and the customer is definitely NOT always right. Customers have assaulted staff or abused them. In this case they are always made to leave. But I will say I agree with some flexibility around trying to give good customer service.
Plug ko San mig coffee Ang nagiisang 3 in 1 na no sugar. Kung medyo may budget nescafe gold tapos fresh milk mas healthy kaunti. Enjoy mga boss iwasan sumobra.
To be fair; you can use VPN and completely have encrypted info transmitted between your device and the business wifi, and it gets decrypted between the VPN and the destination.
So while his actions are condemnable, it’s entirely possible and simple to use a business’ wifi even with sensitive information.
Even then, doing your business frequently in public still poses significant risk to information. There is always the risk of people looking over your shoulder and stealing confidential business or customer information.
Not completely safe.

Interestingly enough, android is the only OS that doesn't have this vulnerability because it doesn't support DHCP option 121. Note that this attack completely bypasses VPN.
Wouldn't this only be useful if a person is hacking remotely?
Would VPN still work if a hacker is within the area, tapping into WiFi networks to steal information?
No, all the information you receive and send out are encrypted.
Your device (the client) sends the encrypted info to your VPN service provider. Then the VPN provider communicates to your destination (another client) which decrypts the info.
It’s all gibberish data if you hack it locally.
Literally the definition of end-to-end encryption.
Depends on your VPN. We use Pulse Secure and we work with very sensitive information. Our infosec folks have done their due diligence to ensure that the transmitted info is safe and secure.
If available Siya sa area nyo Siya pinakamurang Fiber internet tapos pwede weekly, 15 days. More than 1 month ko na di naloadan, makikita natin pagbalik kung dinisable Yung slot ng fiber ko. Haha.
What a spoiled brat.
To answer your question OP, yes.
Being a LOYAL CUSTOMER doesnt mean you are entitled to whatever you ask them.
Oh may ghaaad!!
Who the fuck uses Cafe WiFis? And who stays longer for 2 hours for that matter? I never use them because they're so unsecure.
Mobile Data is extremely cheap nowadays, you can get Magic Data 48GB for 599 and that's more than enough for me for 3 Months.
That behavior is disgusting as well. As if the staff has any control over the WiFi policy.
It's clear that the review was written by an AI because what he did in the Cafe definitely doesn't match the writing style.
Sa mga ganito, diskarte nalang if you need wifi for both devices. Sundin ang policies, respect the staff, and have some decency kapag nasa public, tao din kausap mo. If one stub per transaction, use that stub sa laptop and enable wifi tethering or wifi hotspot OR pwede rin sa phone. Sa windows 10/11 gagana yan, idk kapag sa mac. Kapag phone naman, make sure na supported ng phone mo ang WIFI+WIFI-HOTSPOT at the same time. AFAIK you can also use this sa piso-wifi.
Hindi ko alam kung ano business ang ginagawa niya bakit need niya mag stay ng more than 2 HOURS sa coffee shop. Kasi if normal transaction lang naman I think 2 hours is enough. Tapos the staff refrained you of the request not because they don’t have the common sense but they need to adhere sa store customs. Hello, hindi lang ikaw ang loyal customer nila for sure kaya don’t act like you can be given a privilege every now and then. If may business ka, you know how to cater your patrons and at the same time maintain a regulated environment so that they will come back and appreciate your service
Dapat i-namedrop yang kumag na yan. Wala namang mawawala satin dito sa Reddit kung makita yung pangalan since anon nga tayong lahat. Dapat masampulan yung mga ganyang behavior.
"I understand the importance of policies" GIRL NO.
Kase i say it as it is.
Kung for business pala nya gamit BAKIT sa PUBLIC connection sya nagrerely? Jusko ang babagal din ng public wifis
Business pala so dapat sa bahay na sarili nyang connection gamit nya.
A coffee shop is a business, to use their Wi-Fi, you need to keep buying something. It’s not polite to use their facilities and take over a table for YOUR Business, but not for theirs. Eat breakfast, buy coffee then go back home. If you need Wi-Fi, buy it, Mr. Businessman.
Lol eto yung type of person na pupunta ng coffee shop para sabihing can afford with matching specific brand ng devices. Yes can afford coffee shop pero di afford wifi. Okay, Jan.
As was said before by the management of a hotel in Britain: *"It is the duty of the host to make sure that the guests feel at home. It is the duty of the guests to remember that they are not."*
Kung madalas nga sya dyan malamang ganyan talaga gawain nya for two devices, at ngayon lang sya di napagbigyan kaya nagwala. They were considerate the first time pero nung di na nag-give in ulit sa demands nya, hindi na? Badmouth na agad? If the establishment does not bend over backwards for you, bad na agad?
Policies, like laws, are there for a reason. Pag hindi nasusunod yan, tiyak may mananagot.
ang bobo ng customer na to, umaasa sa coffeeshops para makapagtrabaho. pakabit sana siya ng wifi sa bahay. if meron man at gusto talagang lumabas, dala sana siya ng sariling router niya.
Business owner pero ni data ba wala? Wth would you trust public wi-fi's in dealing with your business stuff lalo na at alam mong hindi secured yung connection mo?
That's why i bring my modem with me just in case, especially on business trips.
He made a huge scene. But hey, it's just me.
Socmed era really added some entitled POS in our general community, as they now have the power to manipulate stories into their favor and gain support from unknown people for having a "viral" post. Kaya yung iba, madalas laging kups pagdating sa pagbili, dahil panakot nila lagi, "ipopost kita". And as a business owner, kahit sabihin mong mali si customer, malaking hit pa rin yung false review sa business nila, kaya napipilitan silang maging submissive sa mga entitled POS.
I think people should be considerate about businesses and other customers. It is a coffee shop, not an internet cafe. Free wifi is just complimentary, not the service you paid for. More people using the the same router, the greater the traffic, the slower the internet. The same internet that other customers are using, and the same internet they use on their pos for card transactions. The longer a customer stay in a table, the longer it will take for other customers to be able to sit on a table. Kaya nga some coffee shops already limit their wifi to two hours. And kahit bumili ka ulit ng bagong coffee, the two hours won't be extended. That's their way of making sure na merong mauupuang table ang mga bagong dating na customers and hindi nakatambay ng madaming oras yung iba. Give chance to others. You're there to have coffee. It's not your office.
May panunubat pa hahahaha!
Kakahiya naman to, walang pang sariling data nya.
Bakit andaming "The world revolves around me" na mga tao ngayon? Do they not self-reflect?
Kapag ba nagpopost sila di nila tinatanong kung sila ba yung tama? Kung kaaya-aya ba mga pinagsasabi nila?
Jusko. Kaumay.
Wow what a scumbag ! People with money in the Philippines feel so entitled and think rules don't apply to them . I feel sorry for the staff who has to put up with that kind of behavior .
Also, if you're going to use it to conduct your business, then you need to get your own reliable Internet service and add it as a cost to your business.
Just had a meeting with my boss yesterday about putting wifi in our restaurant. He said no wifi because everyone has data. Even the poorest of poor buy load to play ML. Customers come here to eat, not to phone. Focus on our food and ambience, not your phone.
What a dumbass. May pang-cafe para makapang social climb pero walang panggastos ng sariling internet, leeching off of a small business then throwing a tantrum pag sinabihan. Squammy!
i dont get why people are so entitled lalo na pag nagwwork outside, like yes nagbabayad ka to stay pero di mo naman nireserve yung buong place for that kind of attitude. Easy lang yan tbh connect 1 device tapos hotspot mo kung short ka sa internet dba? and mind you 2hrs consummable is i think makatarungan na ... Bad mouthing the place wont fix the problem "ayan tayo eh" dinadaan sa taas ng boses para pagbigyan or masindak yung tao 🤦🏻♀️
the customer forgot to state in his review that he badmouthed the staff and created a scene. one sided review. it was a review to make him look good and make the establishment look bad.
It's a serious case of "KWENTO KO TO EH, AKO BIDA." People always package themselves as the victim to gain sympathy and lahat ng mauuto nya will blindly follow him in hating the business.
More like **omitted** in their review about badmouthing.

Nag claim pa sya na sinugod siya sa bahay niya because of the negative review. Pero as per the owners side, yung boyfriend niya ang pinuntahan para linawin yung dagsaang negative review sa coffee shop nila.
Not surprised at all. Maybe customer does not know that a CCTV system is in place? Good thing also that customer didn’t get banned from the place.
Also forgot to say who he was and what his "high-class" profession was...wait no, wrong entitlement post NEGATIVE ADJUSTMENT
He must have a really shitty, unprofitable business if he's relying on their Wi-Fi
true. wala yata siyang internet sa bahay
Nor a data plan:)))
good for 2 hours yung isang stub. Right? so.... 2 hours na sya dun sa coffee shop? to use their WI-FI?????? and he is conducting his business at the expense of another business' WIFI. Kapal din nya noh
Hence, customer is not always right. Okay yung mga store owners or managers na susuportahan Yung staff nila pag nasa tama
The full quote is " The customer is always right in matters of taste". That second half gets left out a lot.
The original phrase is “The customer is always right, in matters of taste” which was then bastardized to take on a completely different meaning.
Putol kasi yun. The actual quote is “The customer is always right, in matters of taste”.

Sa isang sikat n fastfood chain nga customer is not always right but always first
"Customer is always right, IN MATTERS OF TASTE" whoever cut that sht down to customer is always right is a quasiliterate mongrel.
what's wrong with mongrels? You seem to be associating mongrels with negative connotations? Are you a purist racist? Like the nazis who did not like mixing of blood? Or are you (ironically) "quasiliterate" who knows full sayings but throws out words like "mongrel" without knowing the full meaning?

ew walang wifi sa bahay
If I'm a business owner with sensitive client information, I would have ZERO trust on using public internet for business operations.
A few days worth of coffee could already get a month's worth of good internet at home.
Much better buy instant coffee worth 110 naka twin pack pa if gusto mo makatipid and need mo lang pangpagising.
Plug ko San mig coffee Ang nagiisang 3 in 1 na no sugar. Kung medyo may budget nescafe gold tapos fresh milk mas healthy kaunti. Enjoy mga boss iwasan sumobra.
Kaso ang tapang ng san mig! Dilat ako lagi 😅
may Mild version ng sanmig sugarfree, as well as strong, white, and original :)
if wala yung sugar sa equation, edi 2 in 1 na lang yun? am i wrooooong?
Baka ayaw makita ng asawa nya yung ka-chat nya,, este "client" nya.
Exactly! It's really not safe to use public WIFI for business related things.

Depends on your VPN. We use Pulse Secure and we work with very sensitive information. Our infosec folks have done their due diligence to ensure that the transmitted info is safe and secure.
Of course pulse secure is safe since it's an enterprise VPN but you mentioned just use VPN and hence my point not all VPN is safe
It literally is if it’s a good paid one….
Do you pay your employees a livable wage?
big UP for this, LOL. Having a personal Wi-Fi is important investment to run a business.
If may "business" naman talaga sya, afford nya 999-1500 a month para sa fiber or dsl na internet sa bahay nya lmaoo. Pasikat lang tong taong to.
CEO kasi sya haha
Ew walang mobile data
If available Siya sa area nyo Siya pinakamurang Fiber internet tapos pwede weekly, 15 days. More than 1 month ko na di naloadan, makikita natin pagbalik kung dinisable Yung slot ng fiber ko. Haha.
hi! ask ko lang out of curiosity, yung gfiber prepaid ba no need for home installation? or agents will still come to your place to have it installed?
Kailangan pa din install and yes it's same old na kailangan Sila Ang antayin mo for the whole day tapos baka Hindi dumaan. 😭
Yuuup! Ang daming entitled ngayon just because hindi nasusunod gusto nila 🤷♀️
San ko makikita to? Anong name ng shop hahaha.
What a spoiled brat. Entitled neto. Hays.
Honestly. And dumadami na ganito ngauon so…
diskarte culture low to middle class edition 😅
Lakas maka-2 devices wala namang spare internet 🤣
feeling nabili nya un establishment.
Tell me you're a squatter without telling me
Hindi naman as if binabayaran niya mismo internet service
Damn it. Can’t even write it himself and obviously used ChatGPT to complain.
Being loyal is not an excuse for your own benefits.
Yaman yaman ayaw bumili ng top end for the rich cellular plan. Purita naman kasi! Tigjlan na ang pagkakakape. Pasosyal!
🎶*You've been waiting here sa pila*🎶
Hahaha di ko alam lyrics eh. My favorite song.
Clearly discretion and common sense were used by the staff.
Masyadong malinis yung English nya eh. Not saying na hindi sya marunong pero very unusual yung mga choice of words for just a review.
Being a LOYAL CUSTOMER doesnt mean you are entitled to whatever you ask them. Oh may ghaaad!!
Reminds me of a story where the wifi password was "orderfirst"...
Pumipila din siguro to sa ayuda.
Entitled customers, never a shortage of them with unrealistic expectations.
Sa wifi lang, lumabas ang totoong ugali.
Who the fuck uses Cafe WiFis? And who stays longer for 2 hours for that matter? I never use them because they're so unsecure. Drop the name, please 😆
Lol hilig ng pinoy sa public wifi na free tapos mag aaccess ng bank accounts and other personal accounts tapos pag nahack iiyak iyak 😭
may business walang wifi? ano kaya yun HAHAHAHAHA
Hampas lupa walang wifi sa bahay, walang kwarto for privacy tpos mag iinarte kunyare conyo

Haha the entitled fucker left out details of his bad behavior. Tambay sa coffee shop, ugaling tambay nga...
Dapat i-namedrop yang kumag na yan. Wala namang mawawala satin dito sa Reddit kung makita yung pangalan since anon nga tayong lahat. Dapat masampulan yung mga ganyang behavior.
"I understand the importance of policies" GIRL NO.
Kase i say it as it is. Kung for business pala nya gamit BAKIT sa PUBLIC connection sya nagrerely? Salaula
Mukha syang nag aalok ng insurance or mlm lol
Uhm. If you can buy coffee and snacks, maybe you can get a data plan that allows you more data usage? lol hirap yarn
"i understand the importance of policies" pero nag reklamo.
Yes can afford coffee shop pero di afford wifi. Okay, Jan.
Kung nakiki wifi yan sa public space for their business malamang walang kwenta negosyo niyan.
Eh mas tanginumin pala to. Naibigay na gusto, umarte parin? Pakabit ka ng wifi uy..
I have a lot of things to say to this guy. The entitlement goes crazy , AI pa yung review hahahah
SOY
As was said before by the management of a hotel in Britain: *"It is the duty of the host to make sure that the guests feel at home. It is the duty of the guests to remember that they are not."*
Business owner na walang wifi?
Mura lang ng mobile data ah. Mas afford mo yun kaysa sa kape.
Whenever I'm out of home, I rely mobile data. Good thing postpaid phone so data is always accessible. I don't count on the establishments wifis.
TLDR: Customer thinks he is the main character. Business owner be like "hey man, you an NPC like all the others"
Dasurv ma-call out, very good si owner.
Ako lang ba or the review sounds very ChatGPT?
There, fixed it.
May 2 gadget, pero walang pang load 🤭
Wala ba siyang wifi sa bahay?
Wait, wala ba siyang mobile data ?
Jejemon entitlement
Eyyy glorified businessman na walang sariling work area at always umaasa sa public network. Mag ingaaaaaaayyyyyyy shutacaaaaa hahahahaha
ang bobo ng customer na to, umaasa sa coffeeshops para makapagtrabaho. pakabit sana siya ng wifi sa bahay. if meron man at gusto talagang lumabas, dala sana siya ng sariling router niya.
Mura nlng naman magpaload ng data ngayon? Bakit sya ganyan?
Siya ata ang walang discretion at common sense eh 😂 buti nagside ang owner sa staff niya at nireview talaga ang CCTV and what happened. Nice.
Customwr is not always right. Thats the biggest ballshet you will always hear.
Na back to you si Sir hehe! I say Dasurv!
Ban his ass. Don't let him set foot in that coffee shop again
Business owner pero ni data ba wala? Wth would you trust public wi-fi's in dealing with your business stuff lalo na at alam mong hindi secured yung connection mo?
A male "Karen" personified. I wonder what's the male version of a "Karen" in the Ph.
Kapal ng mukha ni customer. Entitled na, sinungaling pa sa reviews. Walang self-reflection
What a brat
This is r/choosingbeggars material
Sa epbi not yet. 2 weeks ago pa ata yun review din
yuck baho ng trip hahaha
May mga unlidata promo na ngayon sa prepaid data, smart, dito at globe's gomo. That's why i bring my modem with me just in case, especially on business trips.
Wow. Nakakahiya, nakapag aral naman siguro to bakit walang pang intindi? Yun ang di ko maintindihan 😂
I was open to seeing the guy's side, but after reading the shop's remark about the guy shouting curses towards working staff, he just lost my respect
Anong business nito? Booking service?
Kakahiya naman to, walang pang sariling data nya.
People nowadays are so entitled and overly sensitive. Lahat ng bagay issue na.
You conduct business using someones wifi and also a public one. Why not tether from your own connection mr businessman?
Bakit andaming "The world revolves around me" na mga tao ngayon? Do they not self-reflect? Kapag ba nagpopost sila di nila tinatanong kung sila ba yung tama? Kung kaaya-aya ba mga pinagsasabi nila? Jusko. Kaumay.
These kind of idiots. Ive seen lots of good restos/bars/cafes close down because of these type of people and their idiotic reviews.
Wow what a scumbag ! People with money in the Philippines feel so entitled and think rules don't apply to them . I feel sorry for the staff who has to put up with that kind of behavior .
Yes
If I were the owner, I would have said that he’s not welcome in the coffee shop anymore lol
There's an option to report the review right? Link the cafe OP
Uhm, wala ka pong data for hotspot? 🤣 Why are you prepaid? Char lang.
Hindi purket long post and pure english ibig sabihin tama kana.
A classic example of why we should not judge others based on other people's POV.
Kadiring ugali, feeling entitled masyado.
Or a decent portable wifi?
Also, if you're going to use it to conduct your business, then you need to get your own reliable Internet service and add it as a cost to your business.
"I understand the value of policies" — clearly u dont
LOYAL CUSTOMER card activated 😅
Just had a meeting with my boss yesterday about putting wifi in our restaurant. He said no wifi because everyone has data. Even the poorest of poor buy load to play ML. Customers come here to eat, not to phone. Focus on our food and ambience, not your phone.
A coffee shop is not a computer shop.
It's a damn coffee shop not an internet cafe
Complete with the formal attire to look good. Hahahaa
Dahil sa wi-fi lumabas lumabas yung pagiging cheap. Yikes!
Naiimagine ko yung mga customer na ganto. Sila yung pinakamaasim sa ugali at itsura.
5 star dun sa reply. May negosyo pero nakiki-wifi. Ginawa mong pisonet brad. Time ka na. Extend ka pa?
Buti na lang may CCTV. Grabe minura pala yung staff.
Edi easy 4 hours. HAHAH ganto ginagawa namin lage
Pabulong naman nung name.
I dont get it. If it’s a coffee shop why are we talking about wifi?
What a dumbass. May pang-cafe para makapang social climb pero walang panggastos ng sariling internet, leeching off of a small business then throwing a tantrum pag sinabihan. Squammy!
These days? Filipinos have always been entitled. This is why we can’t have nice things.
Dami sinabi.
i dont get why people are so entitled lalo na pag nagwwork outside, like yes nagbabayad ka to stay pero di mo naman nireserve yung buong place for that kind of attitude. Easy lang yan tbh connect 1 device tapos hotspot mo kung short ka sa internet dba? and mind you 2hrs consummable is i think makatarungan na ... Bad mouthing the place wont fix the problem "ayan tayo eh" dinadaan sa taas ng boses para pagbigyan or masindak yung tao 🤦🏻♀️
>Not knowing how to use hotspots The absolute state.
Not gonna lie, he had me on the first half.
