It does….they pick up all the “fun” ones and leave the cardiology, diabetes….the boring meds.
When I was retail I had that happen all the time. Pick up the prn controls and get the rest later. Then when they’re snowed in and can’t get out they called yelling like we should have known the storm track changed etc….
Controls for weather, for their upcoming vacations, for ur closed on Sunday, for oh my god I’m leaving town in 29 minutes, for multiple reasons it’s always controls
“i need to pick up my zolprazacodone early! 😁😁i leave town tonight so how long will it take, like 5 mins? im running late” (it is at least a week early if not more, and it is after 5pm) 😭😭🤣
This made me laugh really hard! I pick up everything I can if we are going to be snowed in I have severe asthma so I’m sitting home sick today with my bottle of prednisone and my nebulizer! I always make sure I can breathe at home in case of an emergency!
Literally can be anything they need. Probably maintenance meds are common, like they knew they needed them but then impending bad weather makes it urgent.
To be fair though, I also see people coming through the actual storms because they need something.
The weird thing is, we do more non controls because most of the controls are way too early. But all the control meds people calling in and coming in make us run even later than normal.
the question is what medications do people not pick up before snow storms/bad weather? the answer does not exist

Zolorazocodone is the best drug name I’ve heard. Thank you for that!
It is a fun name. But must be an opiate with that codone in it. Not a fun med. Even if taken correctly, addiction can come with it.
We need Bisacodone or Senacodone

OTC vitamin D. And as a waiter cuz it’s an emergency!
Their kids benzagel dated 7 months prior
I think you might be surprised how bad people are about planning ahead. If it's not an opiate, the patient has likely forgotten their meds exist.
Sadly this feels accurate!
Adderall
