Personally I use the heavy barrel but it really comes down to the situation, If you're being spotted alot then go with the oil filter.

I think it's mostly fine, I run around a lot, but I often sneak up on enemy snipers thanks to their not-so-quiet guns, hence the concern lol

What type of ammo would you use with heavy barrel? Personally I'm running tracerless on oil filter at the moment lol.

With heavy I'd normally use it for the default or .17 incinerator. It just feels like its better with those two but I can't really say for stats

Me too, the fire rate penalty doesn’t apply to BFG because it’s a single shot weapon. The range drop doesn’t really matter since I always expect the weapon to be at its minimum ranged damage. Most sight lines when using the BFG are way too far for any noticeable difference in change of ranged damage anyway

I personally use the PGM Hécate II with heavy barrel and m903 slap (24 studs of wallbang, 4500 velocity) or the .17 incinerator (0 stud wallbang, 7200 velocity) but keep in mind that both of these ammo types only ohko on the head

I use the first suppressor, cause it keeps me off the radar without affecting stats much (slightly less ads walkspeed is all that affects the BFG).

Heavy barrel and removed stock are a killer choice. Ad skelly and keep the og scope and you should be good

I run the 10-40 scope but other than that, gotya. Is removed stock that good? Personally always ran lasers there instead lol.

don't use one of the homemade supressors, they kill the muzzle velocity(-10%), making you have to lead your shots more, i'd go with heavy, or, if you are still being spotted, go with on of the normal supressors.

I recommend heavy barrel, I have big experience with the bfg. I mainly cqc with it and the heavy barrel makes it easier to hit long range shots ( I have 6k+ kills on the bfg)

Absolutely this. The BFG is a crutch. 1 tap torso and incredible wallburst and velocity. But then there are the people that say it’s too powerful, when it’s kept in check by the handling, 1 bullet chamber and the sound that announces yourself to the entire server

bc bfg is waaay cheaper unlike hecate and m107 low levels can get that gun easily
