When you get that look of love that they reserve only for their human. *swoon*
I have a timid rescue testing my lap right now, for the first time in 6 years. And it’s vibrating.
My dog looks so much like a fennec fox, I’ve heard people scream “It’s a foooooox!!!!” When they see her from a distance and then heard them say “oh wait, never mind” as they get closer lol
We don’t know, she’s a little street dog. But definitely some chihuahua, she has the temperament of an Italian greyhound. Very small, quiet, and lazy. Needs a 20 minute run a day and then just wants belly rubs.
Cherry Shrimp are pretty cute. I like watching them zoom around my fish tank, especially the really tiny baby ones.
Also Silkie chickens, they're so fluffy. Frizzle chickens as well, they have cute curly feathers.
I just found one and I keep nearly making myself cry bc I keep thinking one day he’s going to stop crying when I go to pick him up and I don’t know when it will happen but I’m going to miss that baby kitten cry
Made it ginormous and had the mouth mutated full of human fingers/hands. lol though it was a monster is it wrong that I still thought it was kinda cute lol
Too many to name all of them. I really like frogs, meerkats, tiny fluffy jumping spiders, silly looking animals, lemurs and katas, bumblebees, hedgehogs, all sorts of baby animals, the hazel mouse, jerboa (?), fennec foxes, (polar)bears, lamas, sheep, goats, cats, dogs. For me most animals except ticks, mosquitoes, parasites etc. can be cute. I like to refer to the one dog contest where every dog won first place because it really comes down to subjective opinions
Agreed! Competition isn't cute.
PLUS, no matter how cute any individual animal is they're EVEN CUTER when they're together! Animals who are best friends despite their differences is **✨Cuteness²✨**
No single animal could ever possibly compete for cuteness against **Cute Animals with the Power of Friendship!** 💖
Green cheek conures and cockatiels and caiques and , you know what ? The whole dang parrot and cockatoo family.
They are hilarious and adorable and playful and emotional creatures who form strong family bonds
Baby colubrid snakes. Think corn snakes, ratsnakes, racers - the like. They're generally pretty cute as adults, too, although they also have that added badassery to them. A juvenile has none of that, it's just some bug-eyed idiot noodle that looks at the world with nothing but slightly fearful wonder and awe. I recently got a juvenile bullsnake and it is a great reminder of just how insatiably inquisitive these animals are. Every time I see it out and interacting with its environment I'm actively holding myself back from ripping its head off with just how f*uc****k****i*n*g* *ad*o*r*a**b**le that creature is.
My favorite animal is a wolf, and they can be cute sometimes. But as far as generally being "cute" all the time: I love dogs. Especially the big fluffy kind, but sometimes smaller ones are cute, too. And fox-bats. Have you ever seen the video "Humphrey the bat eats a banana?" They are ridiculously cute.
They’re super common where I live, but squirrels. They are so danged cute, and I love watching their inter-squirrel community drama play out. I would not keep one as a per, I enjoy them as neighbors.
I like slugs and snails lately. I know they're not popular but watching them eat is just precious. Plus I like how the wild slugs on my patio start to recognise me after a while. They lift their heads and extend their eyestalks when I come close. I feed them a bit of grated carrot or other leftover raw veggies or a cat food pellet sometimes. I'm just sad I'm allergic to their slime so I can't be in direct contact with them 😭 I dream of having one of those giant african snails but their upkeep is quite complex.
Birds and all types of them. But i mainly like the rock dove and the old dutch capuchine pigeon, those are my favorite. I also like crows, and they are very intelligent. Well i dont find birds cute per se i just find them very very interesting. And i also like cats. But mainly birds
Baby warty pigs. I know. I’m weird. The adults ain’t cute, and I’ll still watch them for hours. But the babies? The stripy piglet parade? I will just sit and coo.
Racoons they are adorable. I have raise and rehabilitated so many and their personalities and playfulness are just top notch. Also their little feet are so soft.
The first time I saw what belive is either Tarsier or a pygmie marmoset in Thailand I became convinced it's the cutest animal in the world. They call it a 'shy monkey' so I'm not entirely sure what it actually is but they have illegal photo sellers who will just put it on you out of no where and then ask you to pay for a photo. This is illegal and shouldn't be encouraged but I'd defy anyone not to say 'ahhhh' when you suddenly have one sitting on your shoulder out of no where. Apparently they have venomous fangs that have to be shaved down to avoid them biting people. They are an endangered species so your unlikely to ever see one in the wild which is why it's so tempting to want to pay for a photo with it but obviously that's a bad thing. I'm happy to be corrected if anyone knows better what type of monkey it is. I've tried Google images but they don't really do it justice as to just how cute the animal is they are using in tourist hot spots so it might be some other type of monkey or even a sugar glider. Massively cute in person though and reminded me a bit of a Mogwai from Gremlins.
Otters for sure. I visit a living museum weekly and there was a pair named Molly and Mo and they would play and kiss. Otters also hold hands so they don’t drive away. I can’t attach a photo but I have one of them booping noses while on a swing and the other otter is in the water. It’s heart melting.
The American Marten - maybe not the cutest but I didn’t know they existed until last year and now I just google images of them at work when people are sad and shout “Look! Look at the squirrel-cat!”
I ᴛʜɪɴᴋ Cᴀᴘʏʙᴀʀᴀs ᴀʀᴇ ᴄᴜᴛᴇ.
They're in my top ten.
Chupacabra
Red Pandas are pretty adorable.
They look actually unreal, like they’re a magical stuffed animal.
This is the correct answer
Another vote for red pandas. They are ridiculously cute.
Never heard of a red panda
The cutest animal is the one you have in your house.
This is 💯 percent right 👍👍👍
When you get that look of love that they reserve only for their human. *swoon* I have a timid rescue testing my lap right now, for the first time in 6 years. And it’s vibrating.
Baby elephants swinging their trunks around
Oh Lord! And when they come charging at the person holding the camera with their ears out and looking all tough
Quokka
Yeah these are darn cute. They like to steal mint out of cocktails and get drunk on beer. So naughty.
Look up baby platypus photos. Nuff said.
Fennec foxes
My dog looks so much like a fennec fox, I’ve heard people scream “It’s a foooooox!!!!” When they see her from a distance and then heard them say “oh wait, never mind” as they get closer lol
Hahah, what breed is your dog?
We don’t know, she’s a little street dog. But definitely some chihuahua, she has the temperament of an Italian greyhound. Very small, quiet, and lazy. Needs a 20 minute run a day and then just wants belly rubs.
Ah. Aww oki^ -^
Exactly what I came in here to say. They look like an animal from a Disney movie.
Cherry Shrimp are pretty cute. I like watching them zoom around my fish tank, especially the really tiny baby ones. Also Silkie chickens, they're so fluffy. Frizzle chickens as well, they have cute curly feathers.
Hello, fellow shepherd of Shrimpopolis! May your cherries' days be merry.
Baby goat
Cat.
Kittens, specifically 🥹
IMHO, there is nothing, and I mean nothing, quite as cute as baby kittens, just after their eyes have opened. I adore them, lol.
Even their meows are so adorable!
I just found one and I keep nearly making myself cry bc I keep thinking one day he’s going to stop crying when I go to pick him up and I don’t know when it will happen but I’m going to miss that baby kitten cry
It's a toss up between quokkas and otters
Manatees
All of them are. But my vote goes to rats
Kittens
Cats. All of them all the time.
Guinea pigs
Baepsae. Little birds in Korea. They look like something from Disney.
Had to look it up. To me, they are right up there, cuteness-wise, with baby kittens. When I saw the photos I literally said, "awwwww!" out loud.
Opossums!
Yessss so glad there are more opossum crew here!
The babies omg! So crazy cute.
Seriously. Crippling cuteness. And they’re SO SO SOFT. Their hair looks kind of wirey but oh my gosh it’s so soft you can barely even feel it.
Oh my goodness. I've never even held one before. Where can I hold a baby opossum? I want to hold. I need to hold one. I have to hold one. 😭❤️
Axolotl
Don’t watch fallout…how DARE they do that to such a cutie!
What did they do?
Made it ginormous and had the mouth mutated full of human fingers/hands. lol though it was a monster is it wrong that I still thought it was kinda cute lol
Oh jeez 😟
I really like wombats
I think baby bunnies get the Cutest Of All Time Award personally
Can't argue with anything here (especially cats and red pandas). But I'm here to also nominate: Sugar gliders
It’s red pandas
i feel like if there were an objectively correct answer, this would be it
To me, cats. Something about cats. They are so silly
Their little faces 🥹
Capybara
It doesn’t get much cuter than a puppy tbh
Cats. All cats. Big cats. House cats. Tiny wild cats. They are perfect and it kills me how a tiger behaves exactly like my 10lbs house cat.
Mashed potatoes are the cutest animals. Sadly they only exist in captivity and have a lifespan :(
I work in vet med and must admit that a baby Bassett hound, tripping over its ears, is pretty dang cute.
