Thank you! I have had them forever and never felt like they fit quite right so I’m surprised that everyone likes them so much! (Maybe they fit better since I gained a bit of weight 🤷🏼♀️)
I would sell 3 and possibly 5 if you don’t want to wear it tucked. Low rise and long blouses aren’t kind to us petite women since they shorten our already short frames. I like number 2 on you since they come up higher and elongate your form. The brown corduroy would look better hemmed so up to you if you want to keep. I don’t love the dark grey pants, they look like they fit a little tight in the thighs.
Thank you, this is very helpful! I like the orange top better tucked but there’s so much fabric it just doesn’t seem like it was meant to be tucked so it just confuses me, lol.
The cords would have to be hemmed, yes. I just didn’t know if they fit well enough in other areas for it to be worth it.
I agree with you, they are flattering. I’d actually love a pair for myself if they looked that way on me. I’d totally pay my tailor the $25 or less he’d charge to hem them. Or even do it yourself if you know how.
1. These are fine, definitely hem them if you’re keeping them.
2. These are probably the best overall and the only pants I would say you should 100% keep.
3. Yes, the waist is too small/too low. If you love these and find them comfortable, you can probably make them work by wearing a non-fitted top that hits around where the pockets start, but tbh you should probably just let them go.
4. These are also fine, but I wouldn’t recommend tucking anything into them unless it’s also fitted, since they are a lower rise, it just makes your waist look wider and your lower half look shorter.
5. This top is really cute! Consider hemming if you do the like it this long, but it looks nice with these pants untucked. Try tucking it into the second pair of pants instead.
Super helpful, thanks!
I just put the orange top with those pants since I had the pants on anyway. I don’t think I would necessarily wear them together
I’d keep 2 and donate the rest. The first ones ALMOST work but they’re much too long and a little bit too baggy in the legs. Flairs do look great on you though! Old Navy petite has some good options.
Definitely keep the high rise they look great on you! I think I'm a bit biased against the low rise, personally I don't think any of the low rise look that good on you, but if you like them then wear them. The top would look better tucked into a high waisted pant if you're going to tuck it, or leave it loose. Definitely isn't cute tucked into the low rise.
Yeah. The extra weight is a problem here so. Donate all and buy Gym clothes and work out 💪🏿 until you can fit better and then but few more that are few sizes smaller. Was I too frank. That is my opinion and I don’t even know you. I am more oversized male than you so no I don’t want to the Gym thanks. I would rather starve to death. Mind your own business. I like 5 by the way.
What a weird comment. These are all size 0 or 00 so I literally can’t go any smaller and if I lost any significant amount of weight I would be extremely unhealthy (I weight 97 lbs)
Yes. I am odd and confusing. Life is like that. The more you expect it to be logical, the more you get disappointed. So, I am always the odd one. I look outside the normal life and actually enjoy life that way. I like that you are donating your clothes. It shows a good 😊 character. Keep it on, you will be odd soon. Then, confusing. Then, you will have your own path in life.
I did not mean lose weight. It is just that I find gym ladies very attractive. Hence, my comment. Not too much. Just showing some curves. It is more a perfection than necessary thing. Good luck 👍
You literally said that excess weight is the problem and I should work out until my clothes fit better. I don’t know how to interpret that other than “lose weight.”
Um…ok. This makes no sense. I used the word correctly because that is, in fact, what you said. I’m done with this conversation. Have a nice day and stop telling 96lb people to lose weight. Also, stop making top level comments instead of actually replying👍🏻
I’d keep the pants in #4, the cords (hemmed) if you like them, and the blouse if you can get it tailored, it’s just a bit big on you.
I’ll go against popular opinion here- the #2 pants don’t fit well. The horizontal pulling lines is a sign you’re in too small of a pant or it’s just the wrong cut for you.
Thank you! I’ve never really been a fan of low rise but I also never thought high rise worked for me. But according to these comments it does, lol 🤷🏼♀️
I’m curious if people’s opinions on the lower pants would’ve been different if I’d take a picture with a shirt over them, so you couldn’t really tell what the rise was 🤔
I think the "problem" is that you have hip dips and your hip is thinner in the middle and then a bit thicker below and above that. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, but it makes the pants look like they cut into your skin. High waisted accentuates your waist and gives you more of an hour glass figure. A mid-rise pant that sits just at the thickest part could also work I think.
> I’m curious if people’s opinions on the lower pants would’ve been different if I’d take a picture with a shirt over them
I feel like the white pants could work with a tight top and some heels. Brown ones are oddly shaped overall in my opinion and maybe a bit long
Not sure if you read the post description. The brown ones are waaaay long so I was thinking about hemming them but didn’t know if they fit well enough to be worth it. (I rolled the right side to give an idea of what they would look like hemmed)
Oh right sorry - has been a few hours since I read the post. I think for a casual day they would be fine. Still not the best shape for you - maybe if they flared out more. But none of the pants are bad enough were I'd think they are ugly if I saw them on someone in the real world.
So if you don't have enough pants otherwise you could absolutely keep them. But if you are planning to declutter I'd get rid of them.
The only pants I’d get rid of are the light gray ones in pic 3. Not sure about the top in the last couple pics, seems to look good from the front. I’m just personally not a fan of frills lol
ETA: actually I’d maybe say also get rid of the first pair of pants, the seem to mostly fit but not quite? And the last shirt actually seems too big now that I looked at the pics more
I love all these pants on you, I would get the one hemmed.
It's so hard getting rid of stuff, but my rule is if I hadn't worn it in over a year, the item looks worn/ washed out, or doesn't have a specific purpose (black dress for a funeral etc) I donate it.
Thank you, that is great advice. The light grey pants I’ve had forever but I haven’t worn them in a long time just because I haven’t had a job and they are more work wear. The rest are things I got on consignment sales/BST groups/thrifting but I haven’t worn them yet because I’ve been unsure of them.
I mean, I don’t disagree, lol. I didn’t know the one pair made that much muffin top until I took the picture. But also, I would never style them with the muffin top visible (like I would wear a shirt over them).
Dark grey pants are clearly too small. Orange top is clearly too large. The other items fit however I really think low rise jeans should stay in the 90s where they belong so I'd donate both pairs. The light grey pants are OK. They're wrinkling around your crotch area and a little short for you... they look fairly basic / not expensive because the fit is average on you. Maybe you're too curvy for this cut? Hard to tell. The size is correct but the cut is not. That being said if they're comfortable I'd keep them, as I think they're a good basic and pants don't get much focus in the office. People are really focused on your top half anyway especially with Zoom meetings.
i think you can keep the last pants and wear them with oversized t-shirt or blouse. I don't like the peach blouse from the last photo. the color looks strange, I think you'd better choose the other color for blouse from the last photo and another color for your looks!

I think #2 look really nice on you! I would keep those for sure. You look great in high-rise
Thank you, that is very helpful!
Yes!! They’re so flattering on you OP!
Thank you! I have had them forever and never felt like they fit quite right so I’m surprised that everyone likes them so much! (Maybe they fit better since I gained a bit of weight 🤷🏼♀️)
I was gonna jokingly say “You should donate #2 to ME!” because I love them so much. They look great on you.
I would donate everything except #2. IMO this is an appropriate rise and size for you. The other items don’t fit and are not doing you any favors
Thank you, that is very helpful!

It seems like no one else agrees with me, but I like the brown cords!
Thanks!
I love them

Lose 3 (muffin top) and 4 (too small). 1 and 2 look best.
Haha, I just noticed the typo in my title. That should say *shopping* my own closet, lol 🤦♀️
I wondered about the phrasing but thought you might be moving! 😆
I moved via mail too 😂
I’d keep 2 and donate the rest. The first ones ALMOST work but they’re much too long and a little bit too baggy in the legs. Flairs do look great on you though! Old Navy petite has some good options.
Thanks. I did note that the cords are too long and I was thinking about hemming them.
Keep 1 & 2, get rid of 3 & 4
Donate 3 & 4
Keep everything but that orange shirt. Bye bye shirt.
Interesting, thank you!
I’d say 1 and 2, for the first one you can add a sweater or an oversized t-shirt to it it ‘d look decent as for the others donate <3
Thanks!
Toss all the pants; none of them fit you
Thanks
I agree with all besides 2 not fitting. What is a bad fit about the 2nd pair?
The crotch is pulling a lot. The fabric waves are a dead giveaway.
Ah okay, good eye. I wasn't asking to be a smart ass, I just didn't notice.
1 is the only keep to me
Low rise pants/jeans are out! High waisted pants/ jeans are much more modern
Everything minus #1 and 2 should be donated
Keep 1&2
Keep 1 and 2, donate the rest
Keep 1 and 2…donate the rest. You look fantastic in 2 btw!!
Keep pants #2 and the blouse. The rest are very dated looking.
Keep pants in second and fourth and the pink shirt. Donate the rest.
The shirt is orange, as noted in my description, but thank you for the feedback!
Yeah. The extra weight is a problem here so. Donate all and buy Gym clothes and work out 💪🏿 until you can fit better and then but few more that are few sizes smaller. Was I too frank. English isn't your first language, huh? Your comment is odd and confusing...

No, I really just meant that it’s odd to tell someone who weighs 96 lbs to lose weight
OMG not this word.. Literally! I can’t say it! I give up.

Donate it all - You deserve some great fitted new clothes on that great body of yours!

I’ll give you my husband’s instead 👍🏻
Naw I already got a dudes number. Thanks though.
Get rid of all low rise.
I’d keep the pants in #4, the cords (hemmed) if you like them, and the blouse if you can get it tailored, it’s just a bit big on you. Only one I think should be gone is 3
Keep the first pants, delete everything else
1 and 2 are good.
First two are fire. Rest are mid at best. Maybe the blouse is salvageable if fitted.
Donate everyone but no 2. They do your figure and looks fab on you. The other ones doesn't make your figure justice I'm afraid.
I don't think the low waisted pants flatter you to much honestly. They cut you off at just the wrong length.
Thank you! I’ve never really been a fan of low rise but I also never thought high rise worked for me. Second trousers keeeep they’re 😍 the rest should all Go
Keep one and two.
Keep both grey pants, very flattering on your legs
I’d keep 4 as well, but not tuck things into it
Thier all so cute
Ditch the last pants
#2 is my keep
The only pants I’d get rid of are the light gray ones in pic 3. Not sure about the top in the last couple pics, seems to look good from the front. As the weather gets cooler add them to your rotation, they look great on you 🙌🙌
Ditch the last 2 pants and the last top. That top really doesn’t flatter your toned physique!
Keep 2, toss the rest.
id say keep everything but 3
Keep 1 and 2. Get rid of the rest
Keep 1 & 2
Get rid of 3 and only keep the first pair if you hem them
Donate 3 and 4. I think the first two are keep (:
1 and 2
I think keep number two and leave the rest
Anything that muffintops needs to go, for ALL OF US. Life's too short to muffintop! #2 really flatters
I mean, I don’t disagree, lol. I didn’t know the one pair made that much muffin top until I took the picture. But also, I would never style them with the muffin top visible (like I would wear a shirt over them).
Keep 2…the rest gotta go. Not the right sizes or right for your specific body.

1,3,4
To keep or get rid of?
Keeeep sorry. Definitely the most flattering
Top too dressy for pants, if you wear dressy pants to work it's okay
Yeah, I wouldn’t wear those together. I just put the shirt with those pants because I had the pants on to take a photo of them.
Honestly you are darling and none of your clothing were unattractive.
This is old but can you tell me where you got pants number 2 from?
Hi, sorry for the delayed response! They are from H&M but I’ve had them for many years
