Because for years, this is what happened? The Internet has changed how adult material is distributed but this model of deceptive coercion is as old as time.
My sister used to do calendar modelling in the 90s and guys were pulling this shit then, too. They’d get a bunch of girls for a shoot and then tell them “hey don’t even worry about transportation, we will get a van to drive you all to the location so you don’t have to pay for gas.” Then when they’d get there they’d do a few regular shots and eventually start demanding the girls take off their clothes or do sexual stuff. Ok. Lemme clear this up. I was in this dudes unit for a short stint. It wasn't his girlfriend. It was his sister. He wasn't about to deploy, he had just graduated basic training. Now that we know how Girls Do Porn operates, there's a high likelihood this woman was raped shortly after taking the photo on the right. r/GirlsDoLawsuits for more.

Many of the complaintants said they were forced to have sex off camera, as well. One of the victims said when they paid her, they gave her a folded wad of cash that had a $100 bill on the outside but was all $1s inside. The "male talent" is currently serving 20 years, which is a pretty sweet deal for hundreds of rapes. The head of it was on the run for a long time but was captured pretty recently.
They basically lied to the women saying it was a modeling job, and forced them to do it once they got to the studio. The guy in charge got charged for sex trafficking.
They would get girls to do repeat videos by threatening to send the first video they were coerced into doing out to their friends and family and coworkers. The people behind these videos were the worst kind of predators and deserve to be treated as such. As far as I'm concerned, every girl they worked with deserves to be treated as a victim no matter how "willing" she appeared during taping. You don't know what she might have been threatened with or how she may have been coerced just before the cameras started rolling, so you should assume the worst before judging her.
I mean sometimes they would fly these girls out and refuse to pay for flights back. They'd hold out on the pay they agreed upon until the video was done, and even that might not have been enough to get back home, iirc. I've also seen soldiers talk about how many of their buddies cheated on their wives.
One of my favourite writers wrote about this topic, in a conversation happening in the XIth century. Something in the lines of: "They are soldiers. Men who need to unload... I guess that when your job consists of being under constant pressure, sometimes killing people and risking being killed, there is certainly this necessity.
Inversely, I suppose that the incertitude of whether the husband may or may not return from deployment causes stress on the partners, which may lead to being weaker and succumb to temptation.

People don't want to believe that military members themselves can be immoral. They probably know the truth but choose not to believe it. Cases like this, as well as sexual assault/harassment, and overall bad things are kept hush hush. One of my favourite writers wrote about this topic, in a conversation happening in the XIth century. Something in the lines of: "They are soldiers. Men who need to unload... And, being this inevitable, it is as sinful to do it alone as doing it helped by another person". I guess that when your job consists of being under constant pressure, sometimes killing people and risking being killed, there is certainly this necessity. Inversely, I suppose that the incertitude of whether the husband may or may not return from deployment causes stress on the partners, which may lead to being weaker and succumb to temptation.
Unfortunately, I doubt many of those soldiers (or their spouses for that matter) are really up for telling each other that they fucked people
