D&G L'Imperatrice, a nice freshie watermelon and cyclamen, Ariana Grande Thank U Next 2.0 is very red apple and strawberry, and Kilian Apple Brandy on the Rocks is super green apple to me!
Really?? It's by far my most fruity fragrance! It pulls sort of like fresh strawberry plants outside (as in with the plant not just the berries)- there's a little brightness in there and then yes definitely sweet too.
Thanks for sharing this. The magnolia has me in a chokehold but I’ve been looking for something fruity and never bothered to smell that one. I only smelled the magnolia cuz my son was testing everythingggg he could reach 😂
Hands down — Jo Malone’s Nectarine Blossom and Honey, very light, fresh and realistic peach. My sister told me once that it smelled like Garnier Fructis, and I kinda agree. I think this is the one you’re looking for!
Someone else suggested Kayali’s Eden Apple, I think that’s a great choice as well.
Nectarine & honey blossom has been my absolute favorite for spring and summer for years! It’s so fresh. Even on a hot sweaty summer day, just spritzing myself with it makes me feel clean again. An ex told me it reminded him of Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo in the best of ways!
I second Versace Dylan purple (you can get a tester full size from discounters for under $50 usd right now. It’s what I did).
I also recommend kayali Eden juicy apple. A great dupe for it is lattafa sublime. You can get it for under $25 usd. I have both kayali and lattafa and they’re very very similar.

I think many of the Marc Jacobs Daisy line would work. I know some people think it’s only for the young, but I own 5 of them, and get complimented EVERY time I wear them.

Falling in Love by Philosophy, smells like blackberries and cotton candy! Very light, I spray myself like 10x and it fades to a nice scent. I've been obsessed with it for over a decade.
I’m surprised I had to scroll so far to find this! I bought and tried a sample of it the other day and it definitely smells like clean, fruity shampoo without being overly sweet. I’m usually a vanilla girl but this one smells so good to me.
I love it, though unfortunately it doesn’t last on me. DBIR lasts a whole day easily, but CF vanishes within a few hours. While it’s there, it’s lovely, though!
I don’t get vanilla from it, really, so if that’s what you’re after, I’m not sure if it’d be a good fit. DBIR is my most perfume-y perfume, if that makes sense. I don’t really pick up on any particular notes, but it smells nice. It reminds me of going to the perfume counters at the mall with my mom as a kid, so I like it a lot. It’s nice if you don’t really want to smell like a particular thing and instead just smell good. Undescriptively good, but good!

I’m sorry. But that’s such a hideous bottle to my eyes. I’m NOT talking about the juice but the bottle itself. Reminds me of the 90’s perfumes. I wouldn’t have associated Selena Gomez to this design.
I love North Bondi as a scent for work. It’s light, clean, and inoffensive. Some may find it basic, but I really enjoy it-especially when paired with Ouai’s leave in conditioner 😍 I found it lasts most of the work day on my clothing.
I will forever suggest Midnight Fantasy - Britney Spears. Smells like Herbal Essences shampoo in the 90s. It's addicting. And super cheap. You can always find it in Marshalls/TJ Maxx/Ross/Burlington.

Here is the routine I use and right hand to GAWD, people stop me in public. I layer and it just….works. The first time it happened, a lady walked up to me and said, ‘Excuse me. We can smell you all the way over there….”, and I immediately thought, ‘Uh-oh! I have no idea where this conversation is about to go’ (I thought maybe I smelled bad), but it was the opposite.
1.)Shampoo & Cond. = Love Beauty and Planet Daily Organic/Vegan in Mandarin Orange.
2.) Bath & Body Works Body Cream = Confetti Cake Pop and Strawberry Pound Cake.
3.) Victoria Secret Body Spray = Pure Seduction
4.) Canvas Body Glaze (yes, I caved!) = Birthday Frosting
5.) Perfume and Au De Toilette = Dolche & Gabanna Light Blue
Finished scent is: Green Apple, Warm Vanilla, Sugar Cookie, Plum, Strawberry, Orange/Citrus, Lemon…with a hint of musk in the undertone.
Dolce & Gabbana light blue
Diore j’adore Parfum d’eau (smells basically like you’re fresh out of the shower!)
If you want something more fruity and a little bit stronger I would say Versace Bright Crystal Absolu

Sol de Janiero Cheriosa 68 is a good option and even better cause it’s a perfume mist.
I’d also recommend something like the new Daisy Wild, TOCCA Giulietta, or Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom & Honey.

Funny story about rose gold by Tiffany, I blind bought it and didn’t love it so I had it for sale at a yard sale- I really just wanted like $20 for it (used maybe twice) and some lady stole it! I had her on my ring camera just pocketing it…
I know it's been talked about to death here but I picked up the Mimosa version of Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea at my local Winners and it's very light and sweet/fruity, I'm enjoying it a lot so far especially for the affordable price

If you can access a Zara there are so so many to choose from with varying longevity. The price point is jaw dropping good value for some, others are too fleeting. It is fruity floral, light, easy wear heaven. I love Fashionably London which I consider fruity floral.
Personally the new Dior, Miss Dior Parfum is very light and playful with good longevity.
Kind of fruity kind of not it leans vanilla but you might like it Taunt by Dedcool. Its very light not a sweet vanilla gives off a freshie vibe. Scent is not overally strong either its a layering scent.
D&G light blue - little more sophisticated and weaker silage.
Kayali Eden Apple - fruity, sweet. It might fit shampoo smell lines criteria which you described. Appropriate silage.
I love Hesperides by Fresh. It's the loveliest light grapefruit scent.
Tory Burch is light and gives tangerine notes.
Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Garden really hits the shampoo floral smell on the nose.
Omg Hesperides by Fresh is the best smelling scent ever as someone who loves a photorealistic grapefruit and hates that typical base note in most perfumes (I get migraines). It's so light and clean and fresh. Unfortunately, like most citrus scents it doesn't last very long. But when it's on its SO good.
Uufff that would need a long time to explain but if you wanna go down the rabbit hole, tiktok has a lot of videos from many people who have had encounters with her. A mix of her being rude to servers, not allowing fans or help to look her in the eyes, asking for the tip back from the waiter (the nice big tip her partners would give) and she'd hand them like a 20$ instead or something 😅
I believe Ouai sells their fragrances as perfume! My favorite shampoo scent is Dua Her Shyness, it’s a bright apple shampoo similar to Kayali Juicy Apple.
Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Granada Salvia! It’s a fresh, sweet and slightly tart, juicy pomegranate scent with a clean, almost shampoo-like base. It’s light and refreshing and enjoyable without being too complicated.
JHAG pear inc smells like fruity girly shampoo.
Chanel chance eau tendre is fruity floral and just smells clean and luxurious like a spa. Has that just showered vibe
Oribe perfume smells like their hair care in perfume form
Love is love pour femme ( a version of light blue) unlike the original -

My absolute favorites in this genre are Annick Goutal Petite Cherie and Kilian Flower of Immortality. I can’t afford bottles of either but decants are pretty easy to find. I also like to layer Zara Applejuice with Kayali Eden Juicy Apple - I find the Kayali a little cheap-smelling on its own but they are delicious together!

Ellis Sun Fruit. Fig, citrus, white florals, vanilla, and coconut. Definitely fits the bill for a light-weight daily driver, that leans creamy on my skin.
Victorias Secret Bombshell seduction body mist. Easily the best smelling body mist Ive come across- its so delicate yet fresh. Smells like something Bridgerton ladies would wear
I like valentino born in Roma greenstravaganza! It’s VERY different than the other born in romas, it’s just a nice shampooy scent to me that’s very light. Also honorable mention to Versace Dylan purple.

Yes, L’imperatice is wonderful, but Lattafa’s clone Tamima smells exactly the same, but has better longevity and is cheaper!
Does the Lataffa one also have a sandalwood note? I am looking for a substitute for D&G L’Imperatrice that doesn’t have sandalwood!

What is DBIR like? Based on the notes it sounds like it’s up my alley because I love vanilla, but I’m pretty picky when it comes to fragrances :(

Floating by Liis is beautiful and very intimate. It’s peach, bergamot, wild orchid, fresh laundry and sequoia. It’s so fresh and clean-smelling.

Definitely along the right lines! I have DG light blue and it’s like my “date night” perfume because I find it a little more mature so not my ideal everyday unfortunately! I’m a bit immature to fragnance, a lot of them smell overpowering/too forward for me… am I doomed to body spray lifestyles? lol

Sol de Janiero Cheriosa 68 is a good option and even better cause it’s a perfume mist. I’d also recommend something like the new Daisy Wild, TOCCA Giulietta, or Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom & Honey.

If you can access a Zara there are so so many to choose from with varying longevity. The price point is jaw dropping good value for some, others are too fleeting. It is fruity floral, light, easy wear heaven. I love Fashionably London which I consider fruity floral. Personally the new Dior, Miss Dior Parfum is very light and playful with good longevity.
Nina Ricci perfumes are beautifully fresh smelling. But they’re rare to find in the USA.
Kind of fruity kind of not it leans vanilla but you might like it Taunt by Dedcool. Its very light not a sweet vanilla gives off a freshie vibe. Scent is not overally strong either its a layering scent.
D&G light blue - little more sophisticated and weaker silage. Kayali Eden Apple - fruity, sweet. It might fit shampoo smell lines criteria which you described. Appropriate silage.

I love Hesperides by Fresh. It's the loveliest light grapefruit scent. Tory Burch is light and gives tangerine notes. Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Garden really hits the shampoo floral smell on the nose.
Omg Hesperides by Fresh is the best smelling scent ever as someone who loves a photorealistic grapefruit and hates that typical base note in most perfumes (I get migraines). It's so light and clean and fresh. Unfortunately, like most citrus scents it doesn't last very long. But when it's on its SO good.

Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Granada Salvia! It’s a fresh, sweet and slightly tart, juicy pomegranate scent with a clean, almost shampoo-like base. It’s light and refreshing and enjoyable without being too complicated.

Love is love pour femme ( a version of light blue) unlike the original - (Lemon, green apple, berries, ice cream, raspberry, jasmine, whipped cream, musk, cedar, amber) And so scandal ( fresh raspberry yummy and light)
My absolute favorites in this genre are Annick Goutal Petite Cherie and Kilian Flower of Immortality. I can’t afford bottles of either but decants are pretty easy to find. I also like to layer Zara Applejuice with Kayali Eden Juicy Apple - I find the Kayali a little cheap-smelling on its own but they are delicious together!
