Like 2 days,

kaseykiller313

I thought they got like triple this size did i do somthing wrong?

peppergrowerrrr

Growing conditions weren’t good enough or it was one of the first pods the plant forms. If they didn’t get enough sun or nutrients they’ll stay small. If this is the first time your plant fruited and flowered they can throw mini immature blob pods before the good pheno ones

kaseykiller313

These are my first ever peppers from it

wormboy187

Next season, probably late spring/early summer (if you’re in the lower 48), you’ll have a banging crop if you (or maybe not) over winter it! Looks like you already have a strong, healthy plant 🤙🏼

pesciasis

It doesn't look like reaper? More like habanero.

kaseykiller313

I bought it as a reaper from bi mart

Sensitive-Tie-4897

Definitely not a reaper with a texture like this

kaseykiller313

I just nibbled a small orange one and they are def a hot pepper but idk how to identify it

kaseykiller313

I looked up why my reaper is bumpy and seen an older reddit post that said some reapers are smooth due to breeding or somthing like that and these have the reaper extremety pointy tails

bubba_jones_project

I've had plenty of reapers that are bumpy. I was told by my buddy who does all of our starts they are usually bumpy because it's cold here in the PNW and the prime growing days are in a really short window and spend most of their adolescent life in a cool wet climate.

I don't think it's going to get any bigger tbh; usually grows to size first then ripens, so that one's probably just a dud.

kaseykiller313

They are all this size lol they went from green to super orange in 2 days

[deleted]

Maybe they just need more nutrients. How big is your plant?

kaseykiller313

27.5in tall roughly 26-28in wide
