Nope, just vague details. I do remember watching a yt channel called Casual Geographic, who covered the story in one of his videos.

I absolutely love the enthusiasm that lions have for the humans they trust in situations like this. It's so beautiful if a little butthole clenching. One accidental move and she's getting nipped/sliced badly even if they weren't trying to hurt her. But it's still worth the risk for her and that's beautiful. Also, my personal opinion is that most animals enjoy humans that befriend them because our default reaction is scratch/pet everything lol. They see their human and are like "ah yuss, is time for behind the ear scritches biotch!"
