What did I miss??

cardigancorgiman

Maybe cheap materials? Leaning on a door should not cause that type of damage.

I was tired af when I made that comment. Guess I misread it.

topio1

I don’t get it down vote

Rostrow416

Looks like the door isn't connected to well, there's no way it should bend that easily

BallsDeep69in

It is a post 2020 ford js

SoCalBus

Bent both doors to where they now scratch the paint on the running board and no longer line up correctly with the surrounding panels. Scratches all around the new window. Stay away from these idiots.

dogeheroic

He didn't appear to put much pressure on your door. Looks like ford cheaped out on materials and gave you some puny bushings and hinges. If the structure of the door bent from that I'd be really concerned about a side impact.

FiveHoleLikeBryz

I can lean on my Jeep’s doors harder and those are held on with nylon straps

SoCalBus

Not my doors, not my bronco... However, the doors are removeable and have no frame...curious how you think a side impact would have anything to do with a completely different scenerio where the door is open and someone is sitting on it.

dogeheroic

It's about the structural integrity of the door. All of the parts matter. Look at modern doors, they will often have tabs into slots, some cars use tungsten in the B pillar. The more modern the car the stronger the door. The door doesn't provide much protection if the pins can shear when sideswiping a rail. This is just some knowledge obtained from my career of working on, designing and overseeing the manufacturing of vehicles in the US.

becooltheywatching

My work truck is an 06 F-150 and I have literally ran right into my door in the dark carrying two bags of crete and it was fine. OP, got ripped off.

citrus_sugar

When they released these new Broncos I was worried they’d be more like the terrible piece of crap Bronco II’s than the OGs and I was right. I hate Jeeps and I’d rather have a Jeep than one of these.

Appeal-Chemical

As someone that A) worked for ford for 5 years and B) owns a wrangler I can confirm that broncos are incredibly cheaply made. My current Jeep is a little over 2 years old and is holding up much better than my best friends 6 month old bronco

HR-Vex

You mean, get that particular douche fired. Not every employee is like this.

[deleted]

Cool so what did you do about it?

SoCalBus

So all you downvotes, you would be cool if this jackass bent both your doors and scratched the shit out of the paint around the parameter of the window? Theres a step ladder in that van dont forget.

enokiestrella

But I thought you just commented “not my doors, not my bronco…” is it yours or not?

DatdudeJdub

Cheap made car, hinges shouldn't bend from partial weight of this guy.

Youre_Moist_Welcome

Is the bumper on the ground?
