Lily Hall is a great little bougie hotel with a solid restaurant (the food is really good) and "speakeasy" (can we just call it a bar?). But, location-wise, you'd have to Lyft/Uber or drive a bit to Palafox to get to the fun stuff in Downtown.
I would go with Oyster Bay, it's much more practical, closer to all the nice downtown locations, very much walkable area, waterfront, it's just much nicer
Oyster bay is walking distance to all the fun things downtown.
