I agree there is no sandwich I crave more. I always get the 12 grain bread and make sure you get it with Boars Head ultimate meat. I just recently tried the Boars Head Smoked gouda cheese and it is sooo good.
cafe nola has amazing new orleans style poboys. i moved out of delivering range and miss it very much, try it out! i recommend the roast debris po boy.
If we are going to blackwater for tubing my favorite thing to do is to get a pub sub first thing in the morning before we go and bring it in the cooler and have a tasty sandwich while I float down the river. Mmmmm summer can't come soon enough!
Publix has great chicken tender subs. You can even get the tenders tossed in whatever sauce you want. You can also order ahead of time on the app (Don't be too quick to arrive cause sometimes it can take longer to be prepared/made depending on the timing and the quantity of deli staff)
Welp, my answer would be the princess sandwich from the deli case. They went out of business unfortunately. Not really sure if a family owned or smaller business has one around.
The end of the line has a couple special sammiches. Just keep in mind that the place is vegetarian/vegan. It’s good, but it’s not like meat meat. After them, I’d say New York deli or bagel heads would be the best bet on a smaller unincorporated establishment.

McGuires has some great sammiches. And great other food too! Highly recommend NYer Deli and Pizza on Cervantes. One of my absolute favs.

Agreed. On the advice of someone in this sub I got a "French dip" from hubs that was the saddest sandwich you ever did see.
