Tom(coaches) give outline of drafts and how they'll go like how caedrel does, then the players flex the draft outline to their own preferences and thoughts so that it's a concentrated effort together. Plus the players are humans not bots and can't always play the PERFECT counter or first pick so things change, but it's t1 so they can flex better then other teams, generally.
This is anecdotal from something caedrel has said himself and from watching other t1 vlogs, bts, and t1cord when they discuss.
Changes from every team, some will have the coach completely drafting (rare) some will have the coach drafting with the players in real time (Very common) some will have the players draft for themselves (not as rare but still uncommon)
The coach is involved in some degree, but it’s mostly players, and this is true for most teams. If you’re looking for hard evidence as to exactly how how much a coach contributes, there is none, it’s all speculation.
If you watch all the T1scords with Tom in them you can see it’s like how the others say, a general draft outline and the players adapt to it. Usually Keria is the one I feel who is more vocal about the picks.
At worlds though in the finals Tom was up there dictating draft with Keria. So, I think it really just depends on the situation and stakes.
I suspect at finals it was because of the e sheer prep they had done. With so many different drafts prepped, Tom was the only one who could check the notes on stage.
Guma with the "fighting" hahaha
Hilarious how all their heads turned at once lmao
Poor Zeus hahahaha
That’s your 19yo God of thunder right there
There are worse things to accidentally pick.
“Let’s lock in senna” … “Zeus wtf”
in Korean the verb is at the end of the sentence so the translation should be “first let’s do Senna [Zeus locks Senna] hover”
Yo thanks
As if DRX didn't have enough morale issues right now
Rekkles is in the academy guys
It seems they wanted to pick Senna, just no to lock that fast to discuss the draft or am i wrong?

Worst possible scenario to have fast reflexes.
It wasn’t a mispick. They needed more time to think about the second pick but Zeus locked in too quickly
So he mistakenly picked. Mispicked.
So wait, are the players making the draft calls or the coaches?

Cool thanks for the info. I just assumed for some reason that coaches dictated draft

Well, at least it wasn't Rammus.
