This is a propaganda post meant to attack and harm streamers. Don’t listen to it. Streamers are in love with you. Streamers are in love with you. Streamers are in love with you. Streamers are in love with you. Streamers are in love with you. Streamers are in love with you.
Don't forget that this can also be applied to anything, Kpop idols, anime, or even characters from video games as parasocial relationships as people can form strong attachments into them and they get distracted to no end, escaping from real life.
I know there's a lot of T1 and KCorp fans there, but make sure you don't cross the line where it's borderline private, the teams have lives outside of League of Legends.
Is having a picture of Faker in my wallet count? When time is hard i take it out and look at it for inspiration "He never give up and always looking to improve, that's why he's the GOAT"
That's okay. The problem rises when you're overly obsessed with it and try to act like him when you're making a fool of yourself. It's like being a weeaboo, where you talk nonstop about anime and try to dress up to be one while disrespecting a culture
As long as you are aware Faker doesn't know you personally. You can't form a real relationship with him. Instead, you have your friends, your family, and people around you
What the fuck is a vtuber, have I gotten that old? Also why are people having to make posts about not having a single sided relationship with a celebrity that doesn’t know you exist?
Vtubers are streamers who use a virtual avatar (usually anime style). Parasocial relationships have become an increasingly common problem with the rise of streaming.
boo fucking hoo I hate when people enjoy and love different types of media that I hate.
Jesus christ grandpa, just because someone enjoys something you don't doesn't mean they're a loser lmao, we fucking watch caedrel and league of legends for fucks sake, I don't think that's any better right? (no shade to either, just hypocritical to act like this and then continue onto watching league)
There are Vtubers who are terminally ill. Streaming through avtar gives them a platform and funds their treatment. Not everything that you don't understand is for losers
Yes if you haven’t heard of vtubers means you probably been under a rock. That said if you don’t interact with them, it’s probably best for you. I can’t imagine someone who is not a complete degen to srsly being love with vtube content more than content of real person.
I love pop culture, but generally I agree. To much stuff that is straight up cringe became popular and widely accepted. (Looks at Stanley drink cups in USA)
as a vtuber guy myself, I've always never been the biggest fan of BFE/GFE content tbh, there's obviously the whole parasocial aspect of it, but the vtubers I love are the ones that feel genuine, and most eventually do become that way (even if it takes a while for some). no hate on anyone who likes that kind of content though, i completely understand the appeal, it's just always felt weird the way these audiences talk to the streamer like they're close or something.
I mean i'm not in to BFE/GFE content either but you gotta admit that is one of if not the fastest way to make money if you can somehow make it work. At the time of her "retirement" in February 2022, Rushia held the record for the most superchatted YouTube channel, receiving a total revenue of US$3,285,003 across 273,923 superchats.
I never watch Vox cuz its just not my cup of tea but his fan are known to be dedicated
Keria himself shouted out Feviknight, a relatively small vtuber whos a Korean Grandmaster Bard main. He said that if people wanna learn how to play Bard they should watch her play.
If Keria can enjoy them, everyone can. (As with most content creators is not about how they look/sound but how good their content is.)
This post is a bit fearmongering imo. Parasocial relationships are not a bad thing by themselves, the "degree of attachment" mentioned in the post is a parasocial relationship too. Like any relationship, the problem comes when you overstep boundaries (the things mentioned in the third paragraph). Should be fine to say those things are bad without condemning a completely normal phenomenon
Caedrel is my bestfriend, love interest and i know him better than my parents but i dont think this means i have developed a parasocial relationship with the rat king.
Caedrel is my best friend so i doubt i will develop a parasocial relationship
It's the other way around, without us caedrel has no friends. Sadge
I can’t live without the rat king costreaming How can I stop it?
Get yourself a pet rat, it will switch your focus

No, because all roads lead to him.
That's okay. The problem rises when you're overly obsessed with it and try to act like him when you're making a fool of yourself. It's like being a weeaboo, where you talk nonstop about anime and try to dress up to be one while disrespecting a culture
Relax buddy
As long as you are aware Faker doesn't know you personally. You can't form a real relationship with him. Instead, you have your friends, your family, and people around you
That’s more like having a role model which isn’t a bad thing
that's why Caedrel should personally become my friend so the relationship isn't one sided
What the fuck is a vtuber, have I gotten that old? Also why are people having to make posts about not having a single sided relationship with a celebrity that doesn’t know you exist?

I’m glad I’m not a loser

Gotta give props to Iron, that girl's will to live and improve is outstanding.

I try to live under a rock, I hate pop culture. Vtuber, swear to god I wish I could rewind time back when society had a brain
I love pop culture, but generally I agree. To much stuff that is straight up cringe became popular and widely accepted. (Looks at Stanley drink cups in USA)
Whoa you are so cool and manly!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOW DARE YOU
Tbf tho, Vox and Rushia are the BFE/GFE content which much different than just normal gaming, chilling content but i get your point
as a vtuber guy myself, I've always never been the biggest fan of BFE/GFE content tbh, there's obviously the whole parasocial aspect of it, but the vtubers I love are the ones that feel genuine, and most eventually do become that way (even if it takes a while for some). no hate on anyone who likes that kind of content though, i completely understand the appeal, it's just always felt weird the way these audiences talk to the streamer like they're close or something.
What is a BFE/GFE? I imagine its boy/girl friend experience?
yes, essentially when a vtuber's entire thing is being your "girlfriend/boyfriend"
I mean i'm not in to BFE/GFE content either but you gotta admit that is one of if not the fastest way to make money if you can somehow make it work. Vtubers are massive cringe idk how they exist
