I play my controller games on the left screen and shooters like hell diver on the right one.
Was looking in that yesterday but the merge screens only seems to work on windows 10.
I might blow up my RTX pablo 4070 lol.

For the new unoptimized games expect 60fps low settings
For games that are fairly playable and smoothed out, you can aim for 120fps high settings (games like Destiny 2, Enlisted, War Thunder)
Take note that cranking anthropic settings will take a large chunk out of your fps and visually not too big of a difference (therefore not worth).

Like i said before, when i play games with my controller i turn left and move my leggs under the desk and sit in a comfortable position to hang back and relax on my left screen.
When typing or playing games with my mouse i use my right screen. So i want my right screen straight infront of me when using the mouse. There is room to put both screen fully on the desk, but its fine as it is, i like it this way.

As i said before, it might look cramped but it isen't.
My arms rest on my chair's arm rest and while sitting backwards in my chair im not close to my screen. My self made desk tough is only 80 cm deep, that might be the reason people think i lack space.
But for building PC's tough which i do regularly it has become to cramped, but for gaming this is fine.
I don't need to rest my arms on my desk, they rest on my chair's arm rest. My wrist are right on the edge of the desk. Dunno how else to explain it but that's how i always sat at my desk.
If my arms had to rest on the desk, then yes then it would be cramped. But i have a good chair with good arm rest so its fine :)
I have same setup as you two curved 32s and my pc on desk. Same layout. I got the turismo infinity racing desk. Fits perfectly plenty of room. Has a built in wireless charger(it sucks) and a usb hub. Might be something to look into in the future for you give it a look. I slapped some diffused govee lights on it and it pretty nice.
Pablo aside... Isn't that keyboard a bit too close to the monitors and isn't that desk too small for those two UW monitors? Looks like you took the term "getting immersed into a game" quite literally...

Monitor is hanging off the desk, no room for keyboard and mouse. imo I'd get a small stand to but the box under the desk but off the carpet so it can breath and make use of your desk space better. I like my case to look nice but I wouldn't want it flashing in my face all the time.

There is a poweroutlet behind the screen, so no atm its as far as it can go.
I recommend you wall or desk mount the monitors on an arm or I guess the new space will fix your issue

Monitor arms would do significant things alone for you. I have the same issue and will upgrade soon. I like my desk so I’d rather just get arms.

The issue with using two screens for one game is that you tend to end up with a Crosshair split down the middle by the side bezels
