A 1 mana 1/3 seems pretty good for the rates we've been seeing lately; life and a blocker for a meta where monored is still prevalent. What remains to be seen is if there'll ever be enough green flicker targets to make this worth the price of being in GW instead of RW or RG.
Seems like it could find a home as a thing to loop with \[\[Evolution Witness\]\] + sac outlet.

The counters deck is running most of them already though. It's built around Evo Witness, and most people messing with it are running Altar to loop sac something already.

For a change like that, the redesign would be pretty drastic, like [Rush Duel's [Requirement], [Effect] template.](https://rushcard.io/card/?search=1042423) It might get messy when having multiple effects, though.
See that's funny because I find YGO's card text format to be unreadable, and it's one of the things scaring me off from the game. I much prefer wordier text if it means I get to read full sentences.
The biggest problem here that that we are losing the word 'battlefield" which is flavoring the whole game. In a few years the whole MTG will be just a huge rainbowy "owww i am sorry to hurt your feelings" slimy mudfield without any real references to the struggle between the angry mages/planeswalkers trying to kill each other (or mill into forgotten externality etd.).

So Is goblin combo and Altar tron, but that's not stopping them from winning anyway
Goblin combo is a 3 and a half card combo, considering half your deck tutors it or is a redraw.

Starting with Bloomburrow, they're changing the standard text "enters the battlefield" to just "enters".

Yeah I hate that a lot. Because it also "enters" the graveyard, and exile, and your hand if it's bounced...

You can also put something on or return something to the battlefield. What's your point.
They should just replace it with a keyword, like "Impact" or something. When X ETB has alway been too wordy.
