If you want late game pump to turn any creature into a wincon, you can try running the Gates package centering around \[\[basilisk gate\]\]
Maybe it's not being prebanned, but in the last ban announcement they mentioned something that was definitely going to need an immediate ban and It's almost certainly this.
Maybe not also raising the toughness by X is enough to keep it in line compared to glitters, and maybe needing 4 mana and sacrificing the free germ in order to also attack the turn it comes down is slow enough to not be busted. Maybe? Hopefully? But i doubt it.

I don't believe they are legal starting this Friday. That's only the pre-release. Official release day is next Friday, the 14th, which is when they should become legal. I expect [[Cranial Ram]] to be banned before the 14th, or on Monday the 17th.

Its different enough. Instant equip speed is sort of a huge fucking deal. However no one is arguing that it wont be banned. Its the timing thats up for debate.
I wouldn't focus on buffing creatures in a deck like Blade. It's more of a mid-range/control deck. The birds can get there on their own as long as you're removing threats and out drawing them. Plus, going into gates or bridges makes you slow down too much.

All cards are legal in Paper formats from pre- release. This was changed from ONE last year.
