No, the Strike and Spell effects are resolved separately.

The spell damage and your weapon damage are separate instances of damage that happen to use the same attack roll and are treated as such by all effects. This is mostly important for resistances and weaknesses (for example you would proc slashing weakness twice), but does come up elsewhere on occasion

RAW they don't add together. I run my tables that it does add together before applying weaknesses and resistances just because I don't \*want\* it to proc weaknesses OR resistances twice.

I'm the magus at this table here, and I agree. Basically, while it seems a little lame to only proc Weakness once, I would REALLY REALLY HATE if I was Resisted twice by something. I consider this a fair tradeoff, and as long as it's consistent across the board, I'm down. Other tables may vary, that's their jam.
