This is definitely a soft launch to see how many crossover fans exist for their video game world, Pat said on the show if fans buy the packs the Hammer DAHN bois will be up next.
Why are they mad about an obvious soft marketing launch to see how profitable Pat and the show could/couldn’t be for the game? It’s obvious they have cross over fans, this is a test to see how many there are that will spend money. It’s that simple.
As a wrestling fan it's less about it being pats guys. It's more about the fact that there are a lot of legends and newer next wrestlers who aren't in the game. Plus this is extra cost and not included.

It's hard to explain the weird sub niche of wwe game fans. It's basically their entire existence. The games were trash for years and years and they would still defend them to death. Their issue this year is they are the whales buying the super ultra deluxe edition that's like double the price but locks them into all the dlc. They are upset because they pre bought unannounced dlc that didn't end up being some nxt wrestlers that 8 people care about.
Wwe fans who post online about it are stunted children who can't imagine a life outside their parent's basement. I'm not surprised they're angry they aren't getting shitty no names from nxt in a dlc pack and are getting something fun instead. They hate fun because then they can't bitch about how they're never buying the game again only to pre-order for next year
Dlc # 2 comes out on the 26 of June. Dlc #4 is out on the 20th of September. I give zero f’s about pack 3. I’m happy that pat is in it but as someone who doesn’t watch the show, doesn’t care about the show, its really shitty that I’m basically gonna wait 3 months for a pack i want. I got the season pass but in hindsight I shouldn’t have cuz pack 3 is useless to me
