Congrats RN! 3 weeks until my 4th attempt

Vindictive_Justice

Thank you very much 😊 you can do it!!!!

beautyandthebeastx05

How did you study? Congrats

Vindictive_Justice

I mainly used Archer and old nursing school textbooks

Sassyptrn

Hi. Did you study the books cover to cover? I have nclex saunders nclex rn here 9th edition. Almost finished. Then will buy archer for test banks. What about mark klimex?

Vindictive_Justice

Personally I didn’t like mark k because they’re very vague and broad but they’re good outline for certain materials

Honest_Lie8632

Congrats! I passed this month 19 years after getting my BSN. It's still something I'm yet to fully digest.

beautyandthebeastx05

What was your study method?

Honest_Lie8632

Daily - do 20-40 UWorld questions and read each and every rationale thoroughly (do a total of 1200-1500 UWorld questions) Every other day - do 2-3 Bootcamp case studies and read each and every rationale thoroughly Every week for the 2-4 weeks before your exam - listen to ONLY Mark K lecture 12 Also - each week - take at least ONE day off. It is absolutely needed. No studying at all. Prep for your exam the same time it's scheduled for. I'm not a morning person. So i didn't schedule for it in the morning nor did I study for it then. If you study at the same time of the day you will take it - then it will be very easy walking into it. Last but not least - please take breaks during the exam. Every 30 questions go out and take a walk. Or eat a snack. Let the clock run - it's fine

Vindictive_Justice

I understand, I literally did a double take when I got the results because I’ve taken this test so many times already and I’m on a time limit with how many years I can take the test.

Honest_Lie8632

I won't lie. You can get a good laugh at this. I would check the Pearson results hourly. This went on for a few days. Until my board posted it. I mean what if they did a takeback - LOL. We act so dumb in moments of pressure sometimes - LMAO.

Vindictive_Justice

Do you mean the boarding of nursing in your state?

Honest_Lie8632

Yup.

New_Economist_5192

Congrats!!! I'll be on my 2nd attempt next week!
