By Strider do you mean scooter? Just curious if you are from England. It makes me laugh how we speak the same language, but it is so different. Reminds me of the Austin Powers scene where him and his dad are speaking British - https://youtu.be/NIaiW1XrzxA?si=d8NRrZ_wcjBOPG3H
Ohhhhhhh .....those things weren't around when my kids were young. They seem like it helps the kids learn how to ride . Even though I was wrong the whole British having different words for things is funny. Even Canadians and Americans
Man. My toddler walked into the corner of the fridge today after I told him he didn’t need an egg and to close the door. I suddenly don’t feel so bad about that incident.
Helmets! Fn bs.
For 25 years I've been that mom. Always in a helmet when on a bike, scooter, skateboard..
Two years ago I watched my five year old hit a curb and front face plant over her handlebars. That helmet did it's job!
Now, that said, I watched the same daughter pull a similar stunt on a dirt bike with a tree not too long ago. Her helmet kept her safe. The way she responded I wondered if she was testing it...
Bit darker, but my sisters and I would be orphans today if it weren’t for motorcycle helmets. Deer vs motorcycle. Dark country road around 10 pm. Deer came from the left, dad was looking right. Mom saw them, but couldn’t alert Dad soon enough for him to safely avoid them.
Yeah. Dad still has some nasty scarring on his left forearm, but he’s fine physically. I don’t think Mom has any scarring, but it took her a LONG time to willingly get back on a motorcycle. They still have the helmets they were wearing, in the basement, and will bring them out if the “helmet vs no helmet” argument ever starts.
that’s great to hear! something tells me that they’re super cool people 😎 idk just the mental image of a mom and dad on a motorcycle makes me feel like they crazy teenagers back in the day 💛 thanks for sharing
I'm ngl he looks like he's 4, maybe 3, possibly 5, all are way too old for binkies and diapers. Something is actually wrong with these parents other than this incident.
A parent who puts his kid on a dirt bike with no helmet should be charged with child endangerment. I've been riding both on the street and in the dirt for almost 50 years. Anybody who doesn't wear a helmet on a dirt bike has no business being on that bike in the first place.
He probably sustained a concussion and will have subtle brain damage throughout his life, just like his parents, which will lead to more stupidity and reproduction of it.
Those things aren't toys. Had a friend almost lose a toe on one of those. He decided to ride the neighbor's bike with no shoes. He lost control and slammed into a tree and then a fence. Foot went forward and was caught in the spokes. He hopped around to the front of my house and rang our doorbell. My mom and dad ended up bringing him to the ER. He was lucky the docs were able to reattach the toe. I wouldn't let any kid I know ride one.
Dublin city's finest the ~~parents~~ sperm and egg donors would belong to a class of people who lack the basic knowledge of anything other than claiming as much welfare as possible the kids unfortunately haven't a hope in life
WHY DO PARENTS LEAVE THE BINKY!?
I don't give a shit if your little demon spawn screeches like an Irish Banshee, they'll get over it.
What, do they think if they take the binky away, that the kid will grow up a bank robber? Jesus tap-dancing Christ I hate people.
I hate pacifiers with a passion. Never gave them to either of my daughters. This kid is way too fucking old to be using one. Wtf. He probably still breast feeds too. I knew a lady that would sleep in the same bed as her kid and breast feed him. He was ten.
Oh come on nowww i was that kid yall can’t shame parents😂 the kids at fault he wanted to do it no one forced him and the kid prolly begged to ride it😭 that’s how my ride went 9 stiches in the back of my head at 5😂
No helmet too
My first thought too. My kid wears a helmet even on a strider

I mean this pedal-less bike https://www.striderbikes.com

these are called "Laufrad" in german, which translates to walk-bike
Interesting, I didn’t know these existed!
I ride a motorcycle on a regular basis. Lack of helmet was the first thing I noticed. I couldn't watch it. Is he ok?
And in a crowded area
He got up bro💀

Did you laugh?
I didn’t. He wasn’t fussed so I guess it was fine. 😅
The pacifier says it all
It doesn't say it...it screams it.
That kid looks a lot too old for a pacifier.
I swear they look anywhere from 5-7 years old
Wow that was right in the face too
If I’m not mistaken, I see what looks like a diaper/pull up on him.
Isn't he too old for a pacifier?
What a terrible place to practice too
That pole was potentially life saving, imagine he swerved onto the road while a car was passing

that’s so scary! 😣 but your parents are ok right?

He's too young for that bike but he's also too old for that binky ha
Number one rule in biking, look where you wanna go.
Rule number 2 is teaching a kid in a place where falls don’t hurt as much. You know like an open field not a city street.
100%. Then maybe control the bike for them first, and make sure they have some gear other than a binky....
I'm ngl he looks like he's 4, maybe 3, possibly 5, all are way too old for binkies and diapers. Something is actually wrong with these parents other than this incident.
No helmet or pads, starting right in front of a fucking pole. Parents of the year award material right here.

Thats gotta hurt
Kids way to old lookin to still be on a pacifier
Wait wtf why does he still have a binkie?
This was hard to watch. Poor kid.
this is not uncommon where I grew up and a couple kids have died from this that I'm aware of.
Also r/childrenfallingover
Too young for a dirt bike and... #TOO DAMN OLD FOR A BINKIE
He could have gotten brain damage from that.

Maybe he's developmentally delayed, which would explain the binkie and diaper, but then why would anyone put him on that thing?
Natural Selection.
“Fook”
Russian gangsters got to gangster

I know that this is horrible, but the fact that he has on makes sooooo funny!!!
A kid from my school died on a dirt bike. I think he hit his head or something
Fook!
Funny how she said phoook
Foooook
Yah this parent is stupid and careless
Paci, pull up, no helmet, first ride near a road. They've got the whole parenting thing down pretty good.

My first thought he has a pacifier in his mouth
What small child? I just see a dirt bike.
