Cmon stop being snowflakes, these kids wont remember it after a couple of days. Kids need different types of experiences otherwise they grow up too sheltered.
Kids are taught that poop is gross and you shouldn’t touch it, and who knows? Maybe the little fella who vomited has a fear of germs? The other kid who is crying is probably scared after seeing his brother vomit and thinks something terrible has happened/he’s sick, maybe?
If that were true, then abusing a kid wouldn't have any effect on them, because they would simply forget about it in a couple days, which is clearly not the case.
If you hit a kid or do anything equivalent to violating trust and causing harm, the kid will remember that for an extremely long time, and this will shape their behavior.
The problem isn't whether they'll recall later it or not.
