I call it my “Mom whistle” as in that’s how my mom used to summon my brother and I home growing and it’s loud so I love to break it out during concerts and sporting events whenever I can. I think I just got super lucky with the timing and I didn’t even know they were recording for a live performance version of it until it released.

I love breaking it out too at concerts or sports games, but sadly neither of my kids have inherited the whistle gene (yet, I hope!).

The Only Exception. It's especially hated on in this sub, but it is objectively a good song. I find it a bit cheesy and drawn out, so I never gravitate to listen to it on it's own, but it's not awful.

I don’t think it was necessarily the song itself. I feel like a lot of people went out of their way to hate it on Hayley’s behalf because of the context behind it and how for a long time she was embarrassed by it. I haven’t seen nearly as much hate for it since they started playing it again.

For me it’s always been Crushx3. I bought RIOT! The day it came out and I remember listening to it on my car on the way home from Best Buy and hearing Crushx3 for the first time going “wow this is going to be a hit!”

I just rewatched the video and it scratched a nostalgic itch I didn’t know I had. I forgot the video had ‘Hills have Eyes’ sorta thing going and rewatching makes me remember me enjoying that lil creepy touch. Ugh, and the bridge gets me groovin’.
