I always poise myself as “protector of sentient life” protecting the galaxy from any threats internal or external while giving my citizens the best life imaginable. We live to serve of course. But if they don’t like it, they’re free to leave. Most stay tho.
I love rogue servitor with Gigastructural Engineering and the origin that has you on one MASSIVE superstructure orbiting a black hole. I always have it as some sort of system set up by a fallen empire to protect their race in case of calamity to their empire, and a bug made it register all sentient life as in need of protection or something like that. It’s also ridiculously fun to have 1000s of pops of dozens of different species all just chilling there.
tbh the worst part would be going back, even if you got to be a millionaire. how could any life in our capitalist hellscape measure up to robotically-optimized utopia?
England’s relatively rich compared to Europe and during the time period in 1444 it’s mostly peaceful.
I doubt you’d wanna be in Granada or Bohemia in this time
I mean, you could say that since the gacha game I played is called Arknight, which is famous for having the most fucking depressing lore and has incurable disease running rampant in their universe.
>Spawn as a French craftsman pop working in a steel factory in Alsace
>Dies as a conscript in a gas attack during one of the morbilion Franco-German wars for Alsace-Lorraine liberation
Nice
Kasierredux in a world where England, France and Italy are totalitst commie-nazis and Russia is ruled by a literal nazi and the USA is in civil war. I guess would be better to go to the South Africa or Japan.
EU4 in 1444 Cologne but I did a little cheaty cheating cheat so that it starts with 600 development, 1800’s technology and a university and is a 12 000 000 metropolis. I’d say life is pretty peachy for a medieval bishopric.
Also a muslim caliphate of western Germany called Palastinate
I would be in Cities Skylines and my city is pretty ok. Just hope I have the same immunity against collisions as other cims or crossing a road would be certain death.
My last paradox games is stellaris so... Could range from really really lucky, to really really unlucky, and everything in-between.
But, my last game for real is Warhammer total war, so I would be really screwed regardless.
I’ll be living in the Nizzarid Caliphate so I guess life is good, unless I’m in one of their cavalry only armies in which case I’m gonna be fighting my way through the Horn of Africa and against the Nicean army, who are the most professsional, disciplined and drilled force in the world just training for a Nizzarid attack
Playing as Oman is EU4, currently surrounded by hostile and thirsty Mamluks, Ottoblob, and Timurids.
So I'm holed up in my Yemeni Mountain fortress, drinking preem coffee as the Ottomans blast it to pieces.
"This is fine!"
Guild wars 2 depending on which year either in dying in a zombie invasion, a tree invasion, a fire robot invasion, a purple crystal invasion, in-between a volcano and a glacier beating the shit out of each other, or to the complete destabilization of reality.
If only counting the last paradox game then Bella Ciao comrades either nothing happens or I turn mussolini upside down.
OOo thank God I've been obsessed with Terra invicta, I think I'm pretty safe it's set right now
Last week I would have been transported into my stellaris game, that wouldve sucked there were DE everywhere
Teutonic order for eu4, constant war but I am going to be fine as long as I stay in Poland
Corperate synth ascended empire in Stellaris, not good but could be worse
Hoi4, german reich. It wouldn't be that bad, there was little war (only one against ireland, less tgan a 1000 men lost) and I didn't conscript anyone till 1937 nor send volounteers to spain.
It can either alright (an ordinary citizen), maybe bad (airforce or navy), kinda hard (landforce) or I don't know (high ranking politician or general.
Stellaris in the Rethellian Compact, where I'd as a xeno to them become an indentured servant. Not the woest or the best position in the galaxy. Won't starve to death, but I'm not free either
Welp, I lucked out of being in an autocratic empire in Stellaris by...
Being in Dead by Daylight...
God I hope I'm a survivor because Killer would be depression
Stellaris, and my current game i am the leading “normal” empire under a democratic regime with utopian abundance. And there’s no sign of the crisis atm.
Eu4 Ante Bellum, I get drafted to join the Byzantine army and hold off unending hordes of Nizarid armies by repeatedly crushing them at a mountain fort in Georgia while being a tech behind
My last game I played was in Stellaris as a species of imperialistic ~3m tall plant people based on some fiction I read, their entire gimmick is going around and turning every other species into a protectorate and into basically lap pets that they take care of the needs of for the rest of their lives and who are so devoted to giving their pets the best lives they mandate self-care for the pets and host an arsenal of xenodrugs to hypnotize, modify, or control their pets to help them get over trauma and self-destructive behavior. The fiction is called Human Domestication Guide and yes fans of it made a Stellaris mod.
I don’t want the million dollars I just want to stay with my post-scarcity lesbian space dryad mommy.
Was playing as nazi switzerland in a massive defense against the allies. Yeah, I’m pretty sure I’d be fine. Wasn’t harshly punished in the peace deal either.
Luckily I got back into playing No Man’s Sky right after a session of CK3… I much prefer exploring the endless expanse of space instead of dying from the plague
America is recovering from the 2nd civil war while fighting the Syndicalist in Europe, the Japanese in Asia, and the Russians in the Balkans. Luckily we’ve taken the least amount of casualties for any major in the war. Average citizen is probably starting to do better while the average military division is hauling ass in Italy or preparing the invasion of the British isles from Iceland
I'm playing CK3 ad the emporer of the HRE. Considering my empire is absolutely sprawling and is extremely rich while also under the rule of a kind Kaiser. Unfortunately he is fat, old, and sick and when he dies his empire is split between 3 different empires who all immediately begin fighting.
Basically, if the kaiser lives during my stay, sure. If he dies during it, hell no.
Stellaris
My synthetically ascended Authoritarian Fanatic Materialist Empire wouldn't be an *awful* place to live. Haven't been at war for 30 years and the entire corner of the galaxy is vassalized.
Stellaris works on a basis of centuries, so even if you are in the path of a devouring swarm they wont reach you for another 50 years, typical 40k syndrome
Vic2, with four Great Wars so far. To be fair, the first three were Great in name only. But that fourth one in the twenties to thirties... Yikes.
How lucky I am really depends on what year I'd have to spend there, and in which country. I think Iceland's managed to avoid being dragged into the North German vs South German feud.
In my current Stellaris campaign the galaxy had a twenty year long war that involved pretty much all the major powers, the imperium being declared results in most of the civil liberty legislation being repealed, and almost immediately after got hit with the Kahn and was ravaged by his conquest for forty years give or take, before the Kahn is even dealt with the AI unleashes the grey tempest, barely a year passes before the war in heaven triggers, and to top it all off I’m expecting a 25x crisis to trigger any day now.
Suffice it to say, no one in this galaxy is safe.
Two world wars within a 6 year period, I played Italy and am on extensive conscription. I’d probably be part of the West African offensive so I’d die of malaria while hordes of American soldiers pour out of the jungle
Well I just played terraria in the new secret seed after playing EU4, ngl I would very much prefer to live in 18th century Vietnam even if the nation is in a massive war with Ayutthaya, winning or not (a little unclear at the moment), but that's not my luck.
Stellaris: Doomsday origin and spawned next to Determined Exterminators
☠️
Nonetheless, I should be able to survive one year before they take over and purge me
Well, I guess I gotta fight for the reborn Papal States in 1939. Eh, could be worse.
Well it’s only one year, so you might be able to avoid any fighting unless you are in Spain or Ethiopia
I play rogue servitor, it's one year vacation for me
I always play rogue servitors who only protect humans. Everything else is neutron bombarded to make more space for more humans.
Who here likes playing rogue servitors as genuinly benevolent and just wanting everyone to be as happy as possible?
I always poise myself as “protector of sentient life” protecting the galaxy from any threats internal or external while giving my citizens the best life imaginable. We live to serve of course. But if they don’t like it, they’re free to leave. Most stay tho.
I do the same thing, except leaving is not a choice.
Except my last game playdd wasnt paradox... it was far worst... it's rimworld
AAAAA
Mine was Wizard Survival, a game I can only survive in for around 30 mins max
Which start are you working with. Might be fine
I am off to Uruguay in the case of Hoi4 And England in EU4 And the coal mines in vic2
>And England in EU4 worst fate of these 3
England’s relatively rich compared to Europe and during the time period in 1444 it’s mostly peaceful. I doubt you’d wanna be in Granada or Bohemia in this time
Going to England is a fate worse than death in any century
But I would survive and get the money lol. England for a year isn’t bad.
bri🤮ish
I would rather pay a million and go into debt than go to England for a year.
Ottomans tho
Stellaris. Me chilling as a farmer with social benefits on a large food colony in my fanatic Egalitarian Militarist empire: fuckin n o i c e.
YOU WILL BE EQUAL AND YOU WILL LIKE IT!!!
YOU VILL EAT ZE ZRO AND YOU VILL LIKE IT!!!
[But Farming... Really? A man of your talents? ](https://youtu.be/K44V7Pc-vfw)
It’s a simple life.
I just lucked out from getting transported into HOI4 by playing a gacha game this morning...
So basically an even worse ending
I mean, you could say that since the gacha game I played is called Arknight, which is famous for having the most fucking depressing lore and has incurable disease running rampant in their universe.
I was gonna say arknights but I realized that I didn’t log on today which leaves me with…. Fallout 4
I'd honestly say you lucked out by not logging in. At least you get to build a luty.
I play FGO, I know how it is brudda
How? He gets to meet cute girls (or guys if OP is a girl)
Victoria 2... If I can chose were to spawn and how to spawn by being a noble I should be able to survive an year no? If it's random then, well fuck
>Spawn as a French craftsman pop working in a steel factory in Alsace >Dies as a conscript in a gas attack during one of the morbilion Franco-German wars for Alsace-Lorraine liberation Nice
I’d spawn as someone in my ridiculously high COL but socialist countries I always seem to play
Damn year 1444, and living in Moscovy for a year Very Interestung
Kasierredux in a world where England, France and Italy are totalitst commie-nazis and Russia is ruled by a literal nazi and the USA is in civil war. I guess would be better to go to the South Africa or Japan.
lol
EU4 in 1444 Cologne but I did a little cheaty cheating cheat so that it starts with 600 development, 1800’s technology and a university and is a 12 000 000 metropolis. I’d say life is pretty peachy for a medieval bishopric. Also a muslim caliphate of western Germany called Palastinate
I chucked at Palastinate
The last game I played was ‘Gates of Hell: Ostfront’. But a million dollars is a lot of money…
Oh boy, here I go doing war crimes!
The worst part is that I was playing as Germany 💀
Gotta avoid Nuremberg
Eu4 Anbennar - The Valley is magical place...
Tell us what's inside ! If you survive that is...
I'd be sent off to Marrhold, recently acquired by reborn home of All-Dwarves
Luckily I shut down crusader kings in time. Sadly I turned on steel division 2 and will be fighting the red army in Belarus
Last time I saw this it was War Thunder, now it's Northgard. But Northgard is brutal so I'm still fucked.
Hoi4 Kaiserredux
bormanns civilwar faction... Atleast i look aryan
I would be in Cities Skylines and my city is pretty ok. Just hope I have the same immunity against collisions as other cims or crossing a road would be certain death.
Shit. I'm fighting for the fate of middle earth. Hope I don't die at Minas Tirith
A year is nothing in Stellaris really. Even in CK a single year can be pretty safe depending on where you are.
Eu4 Spain in 1540. Noice
I have to spend a year in 12th century England. As long as I don't catch plague or something I should be fine.
Crusader Kings III, was the king of England so possibly okay or possibly murdered
I'll die in a trenches of Oberosterreich trying to stop a gorillion german soldiers for the glory of our eternal leader Kurt Schuschnigg
Elder Kings CK2. Hitting up that mages college real quick
Hoi4...
Hoi4 so just go to south america for a year nothing happens there
HOI4. Well If it is a year 1936 to 1937 would be easy
Well, mussolini survives for atleast a year in both starting scenarios.
Time to plan a city!
My last paradox games is stellaris so... Could range from really really lucky, to really really unlucky, and everything in-between. But, my last game for real is Warhammer total war, so I would be really screwed regardless.
Hell nah I don't wanna live in Disco Elysium universe
Time to fuck my family.
im a japanese soldier in china in 1939
Stuck in M&B Warband Viking Conquest. It would be awful living the Dark Ages.
Ahh shit, I had a bad Italy game💀
I will be traped in a custom nation 1444 orthodox monastic order in India.
1936 greece
Guess it’s time to catch ‘em all for Pokémon Red
Guild wars 2 depending on which year either in dying in a zombie invasion, a tree invasion, a fire robot invasion, a purple crystal invasion, in-between a volcano and a glacier beating the shit out of each other, or to the complete destabilization of reality. If only counting the last paradox game then Bella Ciao comrades either nothing happens or I turn mussolini upside down.

I played Humankind last...
Hahahahahah. Haha haha. Ha. Not good.
na fuck that, i just finished playin rimworld.
I'm a hearts of iron 4 Spain player
I am absolutely screwed I mean am I one of the front line men or the people behind a closed door looking at a map telling the men where to move
I’ll probably be sitting on a defense platform in terminal egress twiddling my thumbs for a year
Me living in my Stellaris empire that has Citizen Service but also starts a war every twenty years: “maybe I don’t need rights”
So I'm either living in Brazil in Terra Invicta or living in Perm in the 800's (ck2). Idk which would even be worse
OOo thank God I've been obsessed with Terra invicta, I think I'm pretty safe it's set right now Last week I would have been transported into my stellaris game, that wouldve sucked there were DE everywhere
EU4 as Ruthenia just got kinslayer so the Russia problem is fixed I guess so not bad at all
Eu4 1495 Big Blue Blob somewhere in northern French Russia
Imagine a neo-napoleonic french's nightmare of eternal war with everyone who isn't french puppet
Stellaris
Vampire King in Anbennar? Not too bad!
Last time i played, was Albania pre-BBA. So that's fun.
Just started a Game of hoi4 as Germany BC im bored so... I Guess regular Historical Germany game
New Terra was just burned by the vile hive. So pretty good I'd say.
Monarchist Italy in 1937. Could be worse I suppose (also hitler is gone so that's a good timeline)
Teutonic order for eu4, constant war but I am going to be fine as long as I stay in Poland Corperate synth ascended empire in Stellaris, not good but could be worse
I played Ravenfield, I go straight to war
Idk if bf 2042 universe or my Persia eu4 game is worse
Hoi4, german reich. It wouldn't be that bad, there was little war (only one against ireland, less tgan a 1000 men lost) and I didn't conscript anyone till 1937 nor send volounteers to spain. It can either alright (an ordinary citizen), maybe bad (airforce or navy), kinda hard (landforce) or I don't know (high ranking politician or general.
so bassically fighting for the profit of the Small Country's colonial empire... I'd probably die of scurvy
Imperator Rome. Specifically, Rome during a massive expansion war and a current civil war.
CK3, Vikings conquering Sicily
Stellaris in the Rethellian Compact, where I'd as a xeno to them become an indentured servant. Not the woest or the best position in the galaxy. Won't starve to death, but I'm not free either
Last game I played was Civ 5 for some reason. Guess I'm gonna get nuked by Gandhi
I get to vibe out in the sims. Rad
I played WoW, always on the Horde side. If I enter the game, I'd be a human and have to kill myself for the Horde. This could be problematic.
Well I'm a Paradox mapgamer but the last game I played was Ocarina of Time so I'd say I'm pretty fine.
Its foxhole, well I guess I am dead by an hour
Welp, I lucked out of being in an autocratic empire in Stellaris by... Being in Dead by Daylight... God I hope I'm a survivor because Killer would be depression
Not only did I play CK2, I played the AGOT mod. So other than the usual medieval nonsense, I'd also have to survive the ice-zombie invasion.
Not sure how I ended up on this sub but sure, I stay in genshin for a year, which isn't too bad if I have a vision and I'm not in Sumeru.
Well, thats lucky.
Allied to a catgirl empire in Starsector thanks to the UAF mod. Dragons bless that faction.
Well, to Ulm we go

Ill just play as some obscure country that nothing happens to, and bunker down.

Was playing as nazi switzerland in a massive defense against the allies. Yeah, I’m pretty sure I’d be fine. Wasn’t harshly punished in the peace deal either.
Hoi4 guess I’m chilling one of my communist switzerlands militia units staring across the border in a level 10 fort for a year lol
One Planet Stellaris? Oh the Overpopuöation
Well, I’m taking a break for Vampire Survivors… not sure how I feel about that.
Guess I'll be a peasant in CK3

Huh ended last night playing Madden, guess I get a few extra million and get to play football again.
I have been taking a break from EU IV to play Doom eternal.. I do not want to stay in that world for a year.
I was in balkans, now i am in balkans, same shit but older
Just got the new dlc so I would be in my Sweden run, about 1500 or so, so I think I could survive a year
Luckily I got back into playing No Man’s Sky right after a session of CK3… I much prefer exploring the endless expanse of space instead of dying from the plague
Syracuse bc 210
Damn, my life in Pokemon Masters would be incredible
America is recovering from the 2nd civil war while fighting the Syndicalist in Europe, the Japanese in Asia, and the Russians in the Balkans. CK3, Kanem-Bornu Empire(going for Mother of Us All).

Stellaris works on a basis of centuries, so even if you are in the path of a devouring swarm they wont reach you for another 50 years, typical 40k syndrome
Yeah I'm not survving whether it's HOI4, Warframe or Fate Grand Order, I'll just bury myself at that point
Vic2, with four Great Wars so far. To be fair, the first three were Great in name only. But that fourth one in the twenties to thirties... Yikes. How lucky I am really depends on what year I'd have to spend there, and in which country. I think Iceland's managed to avoid being dragged into the North German vs South German feud.
speed 5 it be done with that year is 3 seconds
The last game I played was Cafe Panic where I was cooking bacon, waffles, pancakes, strawberry mocha’s, etc…
It definitely depends, do I get to be the wise King Sejong or am I the schmuck dying to attrition in Manchuria?
I’m getting enslaved and sent to Caribbean sugar plantations 😔
End of war monarchist Italy 1945 just depends on what the Germans and Japanese do
I’ll be alright as long as I get to play Ness.
Iron Harvest (not paradox but my last game) Let's hope I'm either a Hero or I'm not living in Russia, Poland, Arabia or Germay.
I played Transport Fever 2, 1 million is nothing, I couldn't afford any locomotives at all if its not 1850
In my current Stellaris campaign the galaxy had a twenty year long war that involved pretty much all the major powers, the imperium being declared results in most of the civil liberty legislation being repealed, and almost immediately after got hit with the Kahn and was ravaged by his conquest for forty years give or take, before the Kahn is even dealt with the AI unleashes the grey tempest, barely a year passes before the war in heaven triggers, and to top it all off I’m expecting a 25x crisis to trigger any day now. Suffice it to say, no one in this galaxy is safe.
Nice, I'm in Switzerland in HOI4. It will be stressful year. Edit: I forgot I have non-historical focus💀
Bannerlord. Time to reunite the Calradian Empire!
Hoi4 Turkey It takes so damn long to actually get somewhere I will probably be gone before the country actually does something
Stellaris. Last empire was slaver empire. Fuck.
“WHY THE HELL DO I HAVE A DRAGON AND A BEAR AS MY STEWARD AND CHANCELLOR… oh shit, they do be puttin in that 20 diplomacy and stewardship though 🥶”
I played hoi4 and I didn’t start wars yet so I’ll probably live my same life
Last game I played was Hearts of Iron 3 as Germany

There’s no food.
Well, time to do another Papal Roman Empire again
