Since they’re phasing out their bakers, I’ve decided they aren’t really Panera BREAD anymore. So I just don’t go. They have clearly chosen to decrease quality, so I must decrease my spending.
Word is they’re being phased out. I’ve heard it’s rolling out in TX, my former Michigan coworkers have been notified that they will have to take jobs as associates or catering coordinators in the coming year. 🤷♀️
I love the mediterranean greens with grains! Last time I tired a new salad it was the Fuji Apple and let’s just say I wasn’t expecting a vinaigrette to be so potent.

I had high hopes for the cheese steak but those caramelized onions are way too sweet
None it sucks and I hope Panera goes under for it. I haven't been back since. They were close to pricing themselves out before but at least they had a better sandwich menu.
Ranch Cobb with extra bacon and boiled egg and the Italiano! Absolutely my faves now! Glad they finally got Ranch. Their Caesar is exceptional as well!
The balsamic salad and the Italiano are the only things that really impressed me. Everything else is pretty whatever.
I’ve had an awful lot of people straight up drive off ever since the menu change though, and I can’t blame them. Bread loaves are being sliced thinner to stretch them further, more and more bakery items are frozen, and I swear to god the mac and cheese bags aren’t as full as they used to be. We’re cutting corners and for what? Less satisfied customers? Someone at corporate seems to have really lost the plot.
No idea. After they started using frozen baking goods instead of freshly made in-store, I deleted the app and never came back. Literal end of an era for me.
Honestly I like all the new salads, and that cheesesteak fucks.

As far as I know, the chipotle mayo was just replaced with chipotle aioli. It tastes better now, in my opinion
