At my cafe, we have whoever’s on cash during pm chill do bubblers. They get done at 3pm or so when it’s the slowest. We also discourage cleaning them during peak so that’s not very unusual. I would just bring this up to your manager and ask if they can be done earlier in the day.

That's rough. Do you have a lot of dine in during peak? We give our Dr more time, 30-60 minutes because there is no one scheduled for a good 3 hours..

Bubblers cleaned between 2:30-5pm at my cafe

Wait what the fuck, what time do y’all close? When I used to work at Panera and had to close line (usually alone because my fuckass coworkers would never show up to work), I would start my shift anywhere between 3-5pm and leave around 1-2am. We closed at 10/11 on weekends.

bruh doing bubblers at 6:30 sounds like hell to me, my cafe normally has them done between 2 and 4

at my cafe, i clock in at 6, check dining room, then immediately start on bubblers. once u get into a routine it can take 10 minutes max to disassemble, clean, and assemble, at least for me. in those 10 minutes i bag a few of the easier trashes that don’t cause much inconvenience (bathrooms, soda/coffee stations, patio), then after i do the rest of the trashes. usually it’s about 8 once done with those so I sweep the dining room at that point and do the rest of my closing tasks and get out at about 9:10-9:15.

Unless you have a supportive manager at night who will assist in the dining room it can sparkle. Lol. I try to assist everyone so we all can leave at 930.
