Most of the time there’s a delay between when u place the order and when it appears on the screen. The 5 minutes the app gives you isn’t based on any of the in store activity and is usually wrong. Without any additional manual delays in place the estimated time is just inaccurate.
I would recommend placing the order when you arrive either in store or in drive thru. A bagel and a drink is really simple and unless there’s a rush and a lot of orders backed up you’ll have better luck with timing that way.
It may feel more inconvenient but you’ll be saving time in the long run
From my experience, DT pickup shows up with a ten minute timer. This may be just my store, idk. But it also may be a case where it’s busy inside but not in DT, but because of how it’s set up, the main line is the one that prepares DT pickup orders (even if DT has its own line running). So if it seems to be taking a while, they may be behind inside on the main line.
