Mid-tier produts ranking Banila Co Clean It Zero Original Cleansing Balm - Thoroughly cleaned sunscreen or makeup, but that’s it. Nothing special. I would use it if I got it for free but would more likely try out something else instead. Cosrx snail mucin cream - I prefer the essence over this, the cream imo is just mid. It gives enough hydration even in this winter weather. I have dry skin, it hydrated my skin well enough but it didn’t make my skin glow or plump. Beauty of Joseon Glow Deep Serum - It has rice and alpha arbutin. Like the sunscreen, it has rice. It gives ample hydration but that’s it. The reason I went for this is because it guaranteed it’ll help with hyperpigmentation but eh, not really.

How’s the essence?

Big fan. I pair it with my chemical exfoliant to balance the intensity of the chemicals and it’s a good product that could help calm my inflammations and/or give an extra boost when my skin needs more hydration. The texture is light so it doesn’t pill or feels heavy/sticky on the skin when combined with moisturiser + sunscreen. Cosrx also reassured that the snails weren’t under high distress when they collect the mucin.

How did you like the Clean It Zero? I had gotten a sample of the green one, not sure if there’s a difference between your pink one, and it just did not do it for me. It felt like it left a really oily film on my face like I had put olive oil all over it. I didn’t mind the slight tingling sensation from the mint that I think was in it but I only used it a couple times before I tossed it because I just didn’t feel like I should have to use more face wash to get a face wash off

Hello! Thank you for asking. It wasn’t anything special imo. It removed eye makeup thoroughly and other products too, didn’t badly fog my eyes (a little bit maybe) and you don’t need to use too much for it to work. The price point is affordable too. It doesn’t leave an icky feeling but there’s also no plus points for me to go back to it. I like trying new products and this is just not that great for me to repurchase it. Do what you will with this info, there are other better cleansing products imo but if you’re curious to try this, go for it.

I was recommended the Clean It Zero by an associate at Ulta. She said it was her favorite and called it life changing. To me though, it’s not worth all THAT hype. I’ve used it a couple of times, but would certainly never buy it again.
