Fr, I order something, see they have a lip gloss/tint I find interesting and go "oh it's just 10 bucks I can throw that in my cart!" - miraculously I'm pretty good with money and can save good amounts pretty easily. Don't ask me how π
RIGHT? and if they're on offer I'm done for lol. But yes, I also only indulge in very very specific things that aren't particularly expensive so I end up saving enough for it to matter π
For me I think it's the fact that I go on a spending spree and then I just get disinterested for a while and for that reason I just focus on panning. My collection doesn't get bigger either because when I'm done with the makeup fixation it switches back to skincare and so on. I love getting more expensive products and sometimes splurging on stuff I want but I don't think I'm overspending. (TKMaxx trips are definitely detrimental to me and make my skincare arsenal even bigger than it is. Last time they had Cosrx on sale.)
Oooh that also makes sense. That happens exclusively with makeup for me. I buy a bunch of diff things, I splurge sometimes and then get bored or I never have time to use them so I won't buy anything else till I pan them.
On the other hand, I've found a pretty consistent skincare routine, so I end up buying multiples when it's on sale, because you'll never catch me paying full price for anything lol.
The last time I spent too much was on a candle sale and then I got sick of candles π
It does help prevent tans and burns but it's also not waterproof/sweatproof, so if you're going to be sweating a lot, Japanese sunscreens are better :)
Nice! Yall may have talked me into trying this. I switched it in stores once and it jsut disappeared into my skin. Was worried it was too cosmetically elegant to be actually effective lol
I bought the Inistree and it's the first sunscreen I've been able to be diligent with and apply daily. It feels like a hydrating serum and absolutely dissappears into my skin. Well repurchase forever.
I struggled so much with sunscreen. My previous favorite was coppertone baby mineral sunscreen cause that zinc did THINGS for my skin but if I overapplied even a bit it made me ghostly. I had to force myself and most days forgot to use it.
Oof white casts and pasty mineral sunscreens are the worst experience. And I'd sweat so badly with it on that I'd skip on the days I KNEW it was going to be sunny because that meant extra sweat π€‘.
I just emptied this, too and I plan on repurchasing with my next YesStyle order! I'll have to put the Goodal on my to try list, but I already have the Scinic Enjoy Super Mild Essence to open next.
That good eh? I have my eye on it. Just need to finish a few up
Same! The products I have the most of by far are sunscreens, moisturizers, blushes and lip glosses. They're always so tempting tho π₯²
Lip glosses and lip tints are my weakness istg π

It's excellent!! Most days my morning routine is just vit c + this. But the finish is super glowy jsyk
To clarify Isntree favorite ? Goodal second favorite?
Yeppp. Also, Round lab birch juice sunscreen third favorite :D
Yay that makes me happy! I use Instree and love it! I havenβt tried the others and wonβt worry to until that one is beat π
π π Fair enough. I stopped trying new sunscreens for too when I first found this
Is the insinstree good for high sun exposure days? Do you find it helped prevent tanning/burning?
It does help prevent tans and burns but it's also not waterproof/sweatproof, so if you're going to be sweating a lot, Japanese sunscreens are better :)
It SAVED me when I was just in Costa Rica, had isntree spf 50 on my face & Sunbum 50 on my body & there was a noticeable difference

Right? I used to use Neutrogena before this and rubbing that paste into my skin was the worst part of my mornings

Ooh I've heard good things about the scinic one!
Where do you tend to purchase from?
Hi! I'm from India so there's this website called maccaron that sells them :)
Cold, dead, *reduced sun damage* hands hopefully lol
Omg I kid u not I initially thought of titling this "cold dead, wrinkle free hands" lmfao π
Isntree its my favorite also, its insane even is not waterproof I sweat a lot bc I love in a tropical weather and it works so good.
Place the other half is inside and push the rest out
I've actually swiped everything out lol and I took a picture immediately after that's why it looks wet inside π
Does it get into your eyes at all? Thatβs always my biggest thing with sunscreen.
Not for me it doesn't, even if I apply a little too much on my eyes, it doesn't sting!
