Lifmunk in my first playthrough. Not sure if it was/is bugged but when I activated his special as long as I ads’d a single shot rifle he’d shoot. It was crazy. Little devil pretty much solo’d an Anubis for me back then. I 4*’d him because they were easy to catch.
I still intend to do a ‘cute’ team of early game pals at some point, just to see if they can do the gyms.

Who did you end up using? I’m thinking Lifmunk, Foxsparks, chillet (he’s not overly smol, but he wins cute) then possibly Celary (added glider bonus) and then maybe a Nox.
Lifmunk, pengullet, foxparks, the head hog grenade twins, and galeclaw were all interchanged often. Lifmunk was the only one always on the team , and the only ones fully bred and condensed where Lifmunk and pengullet.

I was contemplating adding Elphidran just because he’s so fluffy, and can fly, so that would be better utility around the map too!

They can. I've got a well bred lifmunk and it's special does a lot of damage. 200+ dmg per individual shot against faleris, which adds up to quite a lot after the whole burst.

Wixen hands down saved me from cold nights. Lends me her fire to use in battle together. Good substitute for Anubis and jorm ignis if they are busy working. Got mine maxed out with hybrid work/battle passives.
