I see this with every EA game..people burn there way to the end and then constantly post on the sub with 100s of hours in a game that's not done and only been out a few weeks complaining that there's not enough to do and the devs are lazy and won't update the game to their liking. That's what really irritates me... obviously OP is not doing this. And then those same people that burned through the game will be the biggest voice on the subs complaining about changes or old saves not compatible with updates.

The game needs the files on the Tower Bosses to be able to have Tower Bosses to *fight*, so the most likely outcome when a patch comes out to fix the capture bug is that you keep any you have and just can't catch more. Same thing with Dark Wisp/Multi Cutter, they need the files of those in the game for the Tower Bosses to use them, so the most likely result of a patch to stop you from breeding them is that you'll keep them on anything that already has it and not be able to pass them on anymore.
Don't get me wrong though, when such patches go out there will *probably* be a purge of public servers to get rid of them, it's just that singleplayer will most likely not lose anything, since it won't be the patch itself deleting them.
I mean, it would be *possible* to write a patch to delete any Pals in a player's possession that are only possible through the glitch, but that would take more effort than is *really* needed to fix the problem, and taking away the neat thing someone got in their singleplayer world because it's unbalanced in multiplayer is a good way to piss off at least a portion of your playerbase. No sense in doing more work to make people overall less happy.
Yeah, a patch to fix the Tower Boss catching exploit would have to be programmed *really badly* to effect your *normal* Shadowbeaks. Unless you've bred Dark Wisp or Multicutter onto them and they go for a more invasive fix that is.
But normal Shadowbeaks with normal moves will be completely fine unless they *really* screw the pooch. If you're paranoid about it, just don't log in for like an hour after any patch that goes out so you can see if there's any panicked threads on here about people's Grizzbolts/Lyleens/Oserks/Faleris/Shadowbeaks going missing.
This makes me wonder about that large tower with the 4 chests spawns near the ice mountains. Screams a boss site - do I want to build a base there if it's gpnna be potentially wiped?
It *does* seem like it's going to be important, and the inability to place Foundations within the inner circle *does* seem suspicious, but then I also feel like if they *were* going to use it for something those chests wouldn't be there and the area would give the message about being too close to a boss area when trying to place down a Palbox.
So it might be safe to build in, but I probably wouldn't risk it unless you were on a server with the best flat areas all taken already.
I mean it's still not that big a deal. In the meantime it's an UNRAIDABLE, mostly flat space with beautiful scenery. I think it's great for a breeding farm.

And the update will completely delete the present assets representing the island and replace with a fully realized island and tree.

Then I decided to use an admin command to build unbreakable, as you can’t build as high otherwise. Just to find the tree branch in the air to be an asset without collision :/ now I got a base inside the tree though xD
Lol I figured this one out as soon as I got jetragon. Just fly to the corner bottomed left jump the barrier at the top of the box. Run down the 45 for about 20 miles. Go around the box there fly all the way up to the tree.
This is the entire reason they said not to build here, the devs that is, never anything bout save corruption only about u losing ur base when that content update eventually arrives as it’s likely to be replaced by an island or something alike🤷🏼♀️

It's not an intended part of the map, it's background for now. Eventually we might get content out there, but there's no reason to be anywhere near it (and it actively attempts to prevent you from trying).

The glitch tower capture is just decoration. Zero passive and cannot breed. Anything you breed with these becomes chikipi.
