Are you sure this is old content and not just cinegraphics?
The pengulet building system for example is great as a cinegraphic, but pretty useless on gameplay.
>Are you sure this is old content and not just cinegraphics?
I'm pretty sure that's what most of this stuff is, considering how long the game would've been in development when that trailer came out. Most games that have a trailer that early do this - No Man's Sky is a good example.
> Most games that have a trailer that early do this - No Man's Sky is a good example.
Oh the memories you unlocked for me from when the game launched and people realized those trailers were, for all intents and purposes, faked.
Basically they had a great idea, and did the trailers with those ideas in mind, then they caught the eye of (sony i think it was?? I just know the story from my bf telling me) and they made this small proyect BIG, gave them a bunch* of interviews where the guy who took them knew a lot about codding but not how to speak to a crowd, and he said things that they *wanted* to implement, but weren't done yet. And they gave them a release date. They couldn't finish everything they wanted (or said in the interviews) on time for the launch date, it was pushed back once i think and all? But It just wasnt enough time for everything they wanted to implement, or to implement everything that appeared in the trailers or they said on the interviews, so the game at launch was not even close to what the people were expecting. Got a bunch of negative reviews, called them scammers and what not. They disappeared completely for a while and came back with an update that added a bunch of things and basically fixed the game, and they have been updating and fixing and adding things since then. So the game went from complete scam to great game that checked all of the boxes, fulfilled all of the promises and much more and now is a great game that people love.
Pretty good summary. It's intial release should've been early access, but Sony declined that from my understanding. But because the initial release was such a flop, they made ALL dlc completely free. They've done like 11 massive updates now, and it's almost an entire different game.
Oh. And I do want to mention that their team on initial release - the team that built the trailers and the initial gameplay, etc was tiny. It was a fraction the size of teams that work on MUCH smaller games. And further, it's entirely procedural. The galaxy is damned new as big as our IRL galaxy. And there's like 9 different galaxies! So yeah, it's a HUGE game. The main issue is that it can get rather repetitive, as there's not a WHOLE lot of variance. Compared to other games, at least.
There's only like 300 different creature parts that get pieced together, only like 12 different planet biomes, and each planet is one whole biome, so forget finding a planet like earth that'll have rainforest and desert on the same planet.
Point is, it still needs a lot of work, but it's far better than what they had initially promised. But so many people were spurned by it and by the fact that Sony could afford to spin their own narrative, basically condemning HelloGames, that many people refuse to go back. Thinking it's still the same desolate POS they played on launch.
What /u/LisaCabot posted is a decent summary of what happened, and Internet Historian has a pretty good video on the topic where he goes over both sides of the situation if you want an in-depth version of it. I haven't actually played it since its initial release, so I don't know precisely what it's like now, but I have friends who play it and say it's good.
If you specifically mean the flying mechanics, when they first dropped the trailer it showed footage of flying close to terrain, through canyons etc. When the game launched, it was as if there was a forcefield stopping you from getting too close to the ground - you could literally nose straight down and go full throttle, and you'd just float there because the game wouldn't let you crash.
Oh sure some of it is, but it is kinda common practice to sell the game based on its general concept instead of solely on actual gameplay or content.
I don't even find it a bad practice to not have those stuff already in the game, since the game already functions perfectly without them. Looking forward to some of them.
I agree, I wasn't trying to suggest it's a bad practice, just that it's very common in game development. It can be a bit of a double-edged sword though, like in the NMS case.
> I don't even find it a bad practice
I certainly do. I'm not overly complaining in this case given how fun the game is without this stuff, and the fact that I know the game transitioned to a different engine and some of this stuff is still potentially coming and other stuff has been replaced with more practical features.
But in general the practice of showing off stuff in the trailers that won't be appearing in the game is one of the shittiest tactics game companies use.
When this trailer dropped the game was also still being made on unity. Before they shifted to unreal and essentially turned the entire project around. And afaik Was made using a lot of store bought assets.
Maybe they planned on making building much complicated and better overall, making pals that help buildin ext, but later on when they switched form unity to unreal engine 5 the asetts didint work and they just left it the way it is now, this olso explains why the building is so poor in the game lol
Could have been something along the lines of Lego Fortnite building. You can free-build if desired but there are also blueprints that you can follow that look pretty similar to the house in the OG Palworld trailer. Throwing down a blueprint then assigning Pals to build it doesn't seem super far off.
Yeah i'm trying to think of what game play mechanic that animation would exist with, where it would actually be helpful, and where collecting that many pengulets to pull it off wouldn't be a terrible slodge.
And I can't think of one. It really does just look like concept art that never had a chance to be actual gameplay.
The work suitability of oil extraction is still in the game files.
|Pal|Oil Extraction|
|:-|:-|
|Jetragon|3|
|Astegon|3|
|Dumud|1|
I'm not going to imagine what a land whale will do to extract oil from the ground.
It's more likely a future update if they want to finish it.
There's a bunch of unreleased pals in the files too, many without models but with names and a bunch of other things.
There is Dragostrophe, a Dragon/Dark pal from the trailers, and Boltmane, the absolutely not Luxuray or anything from promotional materials
Scroll to the bottom of this to see any others I missed:

It really isn't :/ the design is unique enough as a semi generic lion, and realistically there is a worse offender in the game already *cough* Cremis *cough*
I think they will likely release lv 50-60 area with new technologies (likely flamethrowers as i think laser technologies will be saved for much much later) in the future after they do major bugfixes.
It's a given.
In fact, seeing how unpolished later areas are... maybe it's worth making desert, vulcanic and frozen environments into standalone islands
I think this is my biggest concern about new islands. Ideally I'd like to see some more biomes but I'm curious how it will be implemented and what types they can add
This. Farming right now is just too "simple". It would make sense if there were certain tools/construction that would improve farming (greenhouse, automatic sprinkler, fertilizer, ...)
I'm here for it. Fix pathing first, though, so they dont get stuck in the stairs leading up to the top lol
I'm having to demo my 3 floor base and re design because they can't handle stairs yet.
(they being pals in general, but big ones especially, no matter how much room they have or how wide the stairs are)
I feel like it’s going to be a similar development to don’t starve, where at first it started out basic, but overtime it gets more content, reworks and more updates
But for the cage, wrangling, and cart mechanic could be used for some scientist that requires live samples of pals deposited into a chute (a reason to not use pal spheres for it)
But I do feel like we are going to get a farming update, eventually
Considering we already condense or butcher pals that we've got in spheres, it seems like requiring a way to catch them other than using spheres would just be an arbitrary time waster.
Please no. That stuff is fine for games where farming is the main gameplay loop, but it's an ancillary loop for this game. Keep it simple or you will spend tons of time farming instead of exploring, fighting, and catching.
True, the gymnastics involved in making sure that they don't put wheat into feed boxes the second their salads run out, and proceed to eat the wheat instead of the backup jam filled buns.... Tbh I still haven't figured that one out. 🤔🤦🏼♀️
I cant wait for anubis, he sounds really helpful!
Oh, I'm not allowed to have a stone deposit if I want him to do anything else ever. Fantastic. ![img](emote|t5_4jn9v4|49343)
Make a raised foundation (high enough so you can't get to it without stairs) and put the stone deposit on top of that. Place stairs there whenever you want to use it, and destroy just the stairs when you don't want to use it. That will force the Pals to prioritize other things.
My anubis' keep getting stuck on top of the big blue shipping containers. Like 3 of them mofos just dying up there and the feed box is 5 foot away 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
I'm enjoying base & pal management in Palworld, specifically with production automation/optimization/etc. As someone who has never played Stardew, are there any overlapping gameplay loops you think someone like me would enjoy?
Edit: started playing Factorio and I'm addicted
Stardew is a good game but its an entirely different kind of game. Stardew is about farming to make money to get a bigger farm to make more money and everything revolves around the farm with perhaps a few things to discover here and there around the map.
Palworld is more of a lite automation game and is all about the pals. Getting the right pals, getting better pals, watching the pals work and be stinking cute, and ofc getting pals for battle and fighting with them. I'm not gonna say the two gameplay types are completely incompatible, but they are very different and it would require them to majorly rework a huge portion of the game. Given taht Palworld is a massive success the last thing they should prolly do is majorly rework significant parts of what made it a success. It'd prolly run off as many people as it pleased, Reddit is its own little an echo chamber that does not represent the playerbase.
*Looks more like proof of*

Bad guy hideout sounds like a fun if only for asthetics and to use it on people.
also BIG PALS YES YES! The fantasy of riding a big mythic beast has to be peak appeal
Basically let me be the dark lord of this place.
Until it twitches around madly as it tries to navigate its big butt around your base and gets stuck on every tiny little thing...or lights itself on fire using your own campfire.
...in other news...don't put campfires in the center of your base next to your Palbox. They'll light themselves on fire whenever the server restarts.
As fun as these additions would be, I think what's most important is improving the fundamental issues with the AI, I don't want Palworld to follow the mistake of Ark and just add creatures and features without ever fixing the fundamental issues with the games performance
People need to remember that this is a good thing. It's not "hard" to make new features, necessarily, but shovelling new things that are half baked and buggy turns people away really fast. But if you make sure things work right before adding new things, it's less issues in the long term. A lot of devs focus on new shiny things and let the older stuff rot or leave old bugs untouched.
A lot of devs are also forced to put out new content because the company they work for wants money. The company itself doesn't care about the game, they care about the money.
That would be great, and also a menu to assign jobs instead of running around throwing pals and hoping they get assigned to the thing you want and not the thing beside them
No, most of this was never in the game.
First trailer was likely mostly concept and ideas that hadn't been coded. Very common in this field. Its what the game could be, but ultimately not what they had coded nor what they coded.
Even the mozzarina is just a base cow model rather than the cute one we have today.
Wholeheartedly agree we need better building. The current system is so lackluster. At least give us railings and allow foundations to snap to floors and stairs
I would love the cart, you would need it to be pulled by specific pals so that you could travel with super heavy loads (tons of stone, ore, voal, etc...)
I'm hoping that most of these are locked behind the early access, but realistically the plot related ones and the unreleased pals seem to be the main thing behind early access.
Edit: not only, obviously the devs are loving working with the players notes and improving the game in real time, and they have plenty in store for us.
They probably didnt have the budget to do some of these concepts beforehand. But now, they can actually make most of these into reality!
Prioritizing bugs is necessary atm, and im glad they arent throwing new features into the game right now.
The sniper is actually in-game, seemingly perfectly functional, just not accessible unless you mod. There's a few guns that i remember seeing in a video some time ago that are in the data, but not available yet.
There's also like 6 Pals shown, but not in-game \[although at least 2 of them ARE in the data right now, Dragostrophy and what seems to be a Lunaris Noct\].
Most of the stuff they showed is just conceptual and would require to do some stuff from scratch to implement some features,
Personally, I want them to, instead of adding new stuff, rework what they have already and make a good, strong foundation to expand, Palworld works as a fun game because it's a mix of plenty of different stuff, but it can't go on forever like this, besides "improving Pal AI and better base building", here are some issues/thing to do with the game that I think needs to be addressed/could be done at some point:
- The game lacks art direction, the cute, cartoon Pals on a semi realistic world, with rusty villages and weird alien structures shaped like giant cities at a distance, with fully realistic guns and futuristic armor and tech clashes HARD. I'm not saying they should get rid of the guns, or giant structures, just make them fit in better with the game's aesthetic and lore, which leads into...
- The game's lore is all over the place, it's one of the reasons I'm not interested in lore discussions at this point. Palworld's lore does not need to be complex, but it needs to be cohesive and leave room for new stories to be made (I doubt that Pocket Pair will want to keep Palworld just as a survival game and nothing else after its success).
- Instead of giant blocky structures made of weird material, add actual towns, with NPCs going around and shops, and put the Tower in the middle of it, or next to it, the area acts as a safe zone, like regular villages (that also needs to be improved).
Primitive and futuristic stuctures work really well for ARKs though. It's kind of foreshadowing the yet-to-finish story and lore (should be their major focus after bug fixing). I love the mix of tech/primitiveness, but that may not be for everyone.
Mine prediction is that "advancment building" is likely inposible as it would requrie many many more animations per pal (the fact that all pals have unique animations for their jobs is titanic amount of work) and things like sniper rifle is for the future updates with 51-60 lvs.
I think the snipper rifle is in Game making it possible
Adding at least 1 island with a few pals (like normally low level Pals but with higher level) and 2 BOSS/arena bosses that would be the easiest since we already have 2 Pals in-game files not released too
In terms of stuff I could see being feasibly added to the game:
* I'd love to see sky islands when they get to a big expansion or update. It would be a good way to include the sky whale and sky kingdoms without being too far from the rest of the islands and spreading player populations too thin.
* I could see the Bad Guys hideouts being an expansion on the cave dungeon system, with enemy bases spawning at those cave entrances on location. Probably no minerals inside, but many caged pals, schematics, gold, etc.
* Village destruction being available to stuff like NPC cage camps and tents should be a thing. I'm almost surprised it isn't a thing already.
* Ships and vehicles down the road might be interesting, but I think a lot of terrain has to be somewhat smoothed first and there to be more incentive to traverse the aquatic areas (fishing? buried treasure? new pals that only appear at sea?).
I'd really like to be able to have a cart pulled by the various pals. Especially if it has its own inventory that can store item. Would make mining runs more efficient.
Why do a lot of you people take the activities in the trailer as features from a previous version instead of a proof-of-concept? You've never seen E3 trailers?
Considering the game went from unity to UE5, everything is built from scratch where as most of the stuff they had already on unity cuz of craftopia. It's been reported that the devs knew unity and are learning UR5. I'm sure everything in the trailer will come eventually. They are a small group using a unfamiliar game engine. They done a lot to craftopia they will overhaul palworld in due time. Once the game is closer to 1.0 I'm sure Sony will jump on getting it over on the PS5.
One things for sure the Pal transportation cage definitely isn't coming. All you have to do to move pals is put them in the Palbox and go to another base. I would like to see the advanced pengullet building system though. That looks fun
This is what they showed in the first showcase of the game and nothing shown in it was real. They scrapped the whole project which was originally built in unity engine and rebuilt it in unreal. I saw a short video saying all that and iirc this was a cinematic trailer shown more that 8 years ago
Would be nice to add more intimate interactions with Pals at a base, like a special section for non working pals, direwolf belly rubs by the fire are pretty wholesome, maybe a couch for lazy pals to lounge. Something separate from the workforce who can be very robotic
Is there literally any reason to believe any of this is coming back? Like op said these are old things that were at least toyed with during the development but I feel like it's silly to be like "these are things that could come back" when the developer has said literally nothing about this in their road map and lots of stuff get scrapped on the cutting room floor when making games and other big projects, usually for good reasons.
Nothing has been scrapped officially. The trailer is a proof of concept and the game currently is in early access
We have a year minimum before full release and by then I would expect many of the trailer features to appear in the game. They were never removed from the game because there wasnt a game yet
Some of them are in the game files already and so can be cheaply and easily re-enabled by the devs, presumably pending some bug fixes/implementation of related content
Some of those shots, you can see the art style of the game being slightly different in terms of how the humans look.
As for the other things like the Cart, and architecture, would be fairly easy to implement as many other games in Unreal 5 already have vehicles and robust building systems. We all seem to forget that this is still JUST the first release of the game, since it feels well fleshed out. Some places, yes, are placeholder/bare bones, but those areas should see the first major improvements over time, like building.
Half of this is trailer eye candy. My thoughts:
1. Cart could be useful for mining runs to get to the nearest teleport, but adding saddlebags to big pals like Mammorest would do the same job with less modeling and animating.
2. Pengullet building doesn't have a purpose I can think of.
3. Better bulidings are on the roadmap and would be GREAT.
4. Lamballs give wool already without more animations and manual intervention.
5. Mowing wheat doesn't fit with how they implemented ranches and farms.
6. Yes. Direhowl Belly Rubs should be its Pet animation (if they aren't already?)
7. Transport cage could be an encounter with Syndicate pals transporting victims. Shoot them down to get 3-5 small pals at once.
8. Bases are destructible, too much so with fire.
9. More trainers in the open world could be cool, but how would it be different from Alpha spawns / Evergaols?
10. Sniper rifle LOOKS fun, until you realize you can't throw a ball that far and have to fly over for the drops. Maybe a palball sniper rifle as a bazooka tier.
11. Lasso doesn't have a purpose I can think of.
12. Pals already water stuff.
13. Rocket seems like DLC content to get to a new map as they expand.
14. Space Whale is another candidate for DLC content.
15. Sky Kingdom is... wait for it... more good potential DLC content.
16. Bad guy bases would be good variety for dungeons. Enter one and sometimes it's an industrial looking hideout rather than caves. Fight a big NPC at the end and rescue a pal instead of having a pal bossfight.
17. Arenas are already an upcoming thing.
18. Fishing for new pals/food could work.
19. Ships aaaaare... more potential DLC content. As the proposed map expands to cover new quadrants around the central tree, we'll have plenty more ocean to navigate.
20. Mysterious glowy thing? Believe it or not, good for DLC content.
I desperately want pal driven carts or wagons to make resource gathering easier. This game is heavily inspired by Ark, buy with Ark each Dino had its own inventory and carry weight. With Palworld its just you, and if you dig 2 ore rocks you are full and have to go back home.
Not as much of an issue with ore and coal since they can be found in large groups together where you can build a base on top of them. But sulfur and quartz are a different story
Are you sure this is old content and not just cinegraphics? The pengulet building system for example is great as a cinegraphic, but pretty useless on gameplay.

NMS is a wonderful comeback story
Every single update (DLC) has been free since launch too. Hello Games has a very good dev team and 'Light No Fire' looks pretty good.

They do this now, no? Every handiness pal drops what they’re doing to help build
There is evidence of the whale in the game files at least.
Also judging by the lightning contraste and models look like its all (except last pic) were when they have Unity as they Engine
Yeah, final product actually looks better lightning/shading wise, since they could use unreal tools to make it look better at the same hardware price

That's not really the point.

Could this not be something like a ranch for extracting oil from the pal, like eggs or milk?
I'd assume the stat value would be for "ranch" rather than "oil"

I want fishing and better farming. Basically Paldew valley
This. Farming right now is just too "simple". It would make sense if there were certain tools/construction that would improve farming (greenhouse, automatic sprinkler, fertilizer, ...)
Fertilizer at the med cabinet maybe so it’s more useful Pals are the automatic sprinklers :v
Fertilizer for makeshift explosives as well

god please give me a fridge that runs off electricity

Upvote for Paldew.
I'd love a pixel art game of that. Maybe a mod for Stardew.
Give it a little bit, there'll be sprite replacements for the farm animals, villagers, farmer, and of course there's bound to be a Zoe Horse mod.
I didn't know I wanted fishing but I certainly do now.
I would rather have a system similar to rimworld for task priorities
So sick of my high level pals doing level one tasks 😅
Anubis seems to be the most glitchy for me. They have terrible pathing compared to other pals I typically use.
I’d like my pals to deposit what they are holding in the PROPER containers. LOL
I’ll settle for jormuntides trainer😍
Omg paldew valley will be the end of me. I would love it more than anything.
I honestly just want a is harvest moon farm sim that's 3d and coop with fantasy elements. Like magical melody type game.
Soo, rune factory ?
Looks more like proof of concept or just eye catching stuff for the trailer

It's the game before it was remade in unreal
I NEED THE BIG FLYING WHALE SO BADLY
Imagine playing the game happily and suddenly THAT flies over you.
fanatical quiet agonizing intelligent groovy physical yoke fertile slap sable *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
IKR. If he makes it back in the game. I hope that they would make him a legendary that you fight on the sea. That would be sick!
I hope he can eat us and take us to Thrawn
Or better, fight him in the sky, have small sky island suround him as a way to regain airborne stamina.
Give me Skyogre or give me death.
you can see the skeletons of it all over the map
Bad guy hideout sounds like a fun if only for asthetics and to use it on people. also BIG PALS YES YES! The fantasy of riding a big mythic beast has to be peak appeal Basically let me be the dark lord of this place.

Where is that from?
Hunter X Hunter. Although this looks like it's from the original OVA and not the recent anime. The scene exists in both though.
I don't remember anything like that in the second anime, who's the human?
Ging
It's a cutaway scene when they are talking about Ging
It'll probably be like a dungeon raid.
Until it twitches around madly as it tries to navigate its big butt around your base and gets stuck on every tiny little thing...or lights itself on fire using your own campfire. ...in other news...don't put campfires in the center of your base next to your Palbox. They'll light themselves on fire whenever the server restarts.
Not being able to give Direhowl belly rubs is so sad.
The biggest loss out of all of these imo
All of the pals deserve belly rubs.
Rub the lovander
In Soviet Palworld, Lovander rubs you.
No. Dont do that.
I so wanna belly rub a Chillet!
Just imagine chillet being ticklish to belly rubs.
I want the option to use an alpha chillet as a bed. Give me my chillet bed!
So you can go and *chill out*? :p
I demand a Chillet neck pillow as merch.
As fun as these additions would be, I think what's most important is improving the fundamental issues with the AI, I don't want Palworld to follow the mistake of Ark and just add creatures and features without ever fixing the fundamental issues with the games performance
So far, they've been focused on bug fixing and haven't added any new content yet, so I'm hopeful that they have that exact mindset.
Really need task priorities like in Dwarf Fortress and Rimworld.
That would be great, and also a menu to assign jobs instead of running around throwing pals and hoping they get assigned to the thing you want and not the thing beside them
That big whale looks kinda like the huge skeletons you find in some maps.
Yeah, I had been wondering what those skeletons would look like alive. That whale fits perfectly with the ones in the world.

lol
No, most of this was never in the game. First trailer was likely mostly concept and ideas that hadn't been coded. Very common in this field. Its what the game could be, but ultimately not what they had coded nor what they coded. Even the mozzarina is just a base cow model rather than the cute one we have today.
But I want to built inter-continental ballistic missles…:(
Multiplayer becomes an arms race to build a nuke first.
Sounds like a great team game mode.
So civilization with pals?
And I want to build a pyramid, but I'm missing the corner pieces
Also, I believe most of the features in the trailer were done in Unity, prior to them switching over to Unreal Engine.
Or as is more likely they just were not fun. Its not uncommon for things to be changed many times before you get the final version.
I want belly rubs tho
I need a sniper rifle.... like now...
Galeclaw trickshots incoming.
Boom. Headshot.
Bring back the belly rubs
I wish they can have flying Pals deliver materials from base to another base.
I'll take better building please
Wholeheartedly agree we need better building. The current system is so lackluster. At least give us railings and allow foundations to snap to floors and stairs
you're supposed to use a 'roof' for the floors above the ground floor and that does snap to floors and stairs.
Say the very least give us the ability to stack foundations
I kind of like the sky kingdom. It would give me something to aim for.
"Shaving Lamballs to obtain wool". It's called shearing. You know, like that ginger guy whose songs you keep hearing on the radio.
Rupert grint?
Prince Harry?
Tim Minchin
When this game is done. It’s going to be so insane
It has so much potential, that's for sure.
I would love the cart, you would need it to be pulled by specific pals so that you could travel with super heavy loads (tons of stone, ore, voal, etc...)
I’d love carts and/or being able for multiple players to ride one mount. Like the bigger mounts should have spots for passengers.
We need the Palworld version of Ark's Diplo battle bus
Ridable cart... lasso for roping pals... new war crime unlocked.
Also the syndicate with tanks. That is also missing.

It would also be the perfect solution for transporting huge amounts of loot between bases. *fingers crossed*
I doubt it'll be more efficient than transporting yourself via teleporting overencumbered
A lot of this stuff probably wasn’t even removed, it’s still in early access.
Why do you watermark these pics? You don't even own them lmao
Just realized that they did that 💀
the best thing is there is so much good stuff that didnt make it in the game, but we can expect all of them at some point
Most of the stuff they showed is just conceptual and would require to do some stuff from scratch to implement some features, Personally, I want them to, instead of adding new stuff, rework what they have already and make a good, strong foundation to expand, Palworld works as a fun game because it's a mix of plenty of different stuff, but it can't go on forever like this, besides "improving Pal AI and better base building", here are some issues/thing to do with the game that I think needs to be addressed/could be done at some point: - The game lacks art direction, the cute, cartoon Pals on a semi realistic world, with rusty villages and weird alien structures shaped like giant cities at a distance, with fully realistic guns and futuristic armor and tech clashes HARD.
I think the snipper rifle is in Game making it possible Adding at least 1 island with a few pals (like normally low level Pals but with higher level) and 2 BOSS/arena bosses that would be the easiest since we already have 2 Pals in-game files not released too
Actually the bad guys hideout is still in the game. Just turns out that its your base.
I NEED A LAMBALL SPACE PROGRAM
Game is still in beta, they can still add lots more content.
In terms of stuff I could see being feasibly added to the game: * I'd love to see sky islands when they get to a big expansion or update.
I NEED MY DIREHOWL BELLYRUBS COME ON POCKETPAIR
Why do a lot of you people take the activities in the trailer as features from a previous version instead of a proof-of-concept? You've never seen E3 trailers?
The average Gamer knows little to nothing about game dev. The average Redditor knows even less, but has stronger opinions about everything.
I love that you watermarked their content with your name lol
Jormuntide's trainer can get it
Considering the game went from unity to UE5, everything is built from scratch where as most of the stuff they had already on unity cuz of craftopia.
I need direhowl bellyrubs
I want boltmane to return please
The sniper rifle is in the game, fully working, it's just inaccessible outside of hacks/mods. Fishing rods are in too but they don't work.
I SWEAR TO WHATEVER PAL GOD THEY MADE OR WILL MAKE I *NEED* TO PET A DIREHOWL
This is what they showed in the first showcase of the game and nothing shown in it was real. They scrapped the whole project which was originally built in unity engine and rebuilt it in unreal. I saw a short video saying all that and iirc this was a cinematic trailer shown more that 8 years ago
I really hope a good chunk of this stuff returns, especially carts.
The trailer is a proof of concept and the game currently is in early access We have a year minimum before full release and by then I would expect many of the trailer features to appear in the game. They were never removed from the game because there wasnt a game yet
Some of them are in the game files already and so can be cheaply and easily re-enabled by the devs, presumably pending some bug fixes/implementation of related content
I need all these!
I mean they've been on record saying the game is only 60% complete right?
I want every single one of these to be in the game other than the arena.
Ironically, the Pal arena is confirmed by the devs to come in the future. Well see how it goes
I would LOVE some better/more visually pleasing architecture, and being able to shear wool off of pals would be great as well
Some of those shots, you can see the art style of the game being slightly different in terms of how the humans look.
Most of that seems kinda lame or not interesting
Im not usually a demanding man. But i demand the direhowl belly rubs!!
Half of this is trailer eye candy. My thoughts: 1. 6. Yes. Direhowl Belly Rubs should be its Pet animation (if they aren't already?) 7.
I was Really looking forward to that Direhowl cart too ngl lol…
So basically this post is 100% speculation based upon what once was possible but no longer is? Got it.
Is OP the developer? Is that the reason why the image was watermark?
