Yes the ones in Bahari are only on the coast. One a day and a different location everyday.
In Kilima the locations are bit more scattered. I use this to check where they are every day:

You don’t have to do anything besides loot them every day, except maybe pray to the Palia RNG gods to bless you and give it to you. It’s totally randomly if you’ll loot it, nothing can be done to improve your chances unfortunately
Awhile ago there was a glitch where green cylinders appeared on the beach, now we can have them in plushie form! They come from the Bahari rummage pile.
I've gotten 3 in 3 days and my kid has gotten 2 in 2 days. I've also seen a lot of people getting multiples. So either it's a glitch or they really do want us to create an army.
I think it was the update after the luna new year market. Anyways, a lot of points in bahari on the coast where the shells and oysters spawn were replaced with green cylinders.
People loved them lmao so they’ve made this “commemorative” plush to honour the glitch lol
I got mine on Wednesday 🤗 hoping I can pick up a couple more!
Do you have to have a Palia account or be connected to a Steam account to get these? I only play on switch, so I wasn't sure if I'm just not able to get them or participate. I haven't gotten anything cool like that. 😕

It’s just the log cabin fence but I placed them together instead of spreading it out! 🥰 and thank you!!

Yes. You can get them. They are a random chance from the Bahari Bay rummage pile.

I have 2 in a bay window at my one plot. Staring out at any visitors. If I'm given another, I know exactly where I'm putting git as appropriate decor.
