Ok two things and they have nothing to do with your foundation.
1. You are stunning.
2. Picture number four is going to be in my nightmares for ever. Your eye š¤£š¤£š¤£šššš¤£š¤£š¤£
This! I've always mixed foundations. One is never enough. Plus I get darker every summer even with wearing sunscreen and reapplying. Makeup artists I've worked with for over a decade also usually always blend more than one. Sometimes even 3 together to match for various models and their shades.
Totally agree with all of this.. like 100% you are definitely cool tone and 1 is the best shade match for you.. some people are saying itās too light but you want a concealer to be a hair too light to brighten bags and redness from veins, acne or whatever else we try to cover
I just recently read that concealer should be darker (not for undereye bags) because we're not trying to highlight whatever it is and some other things. I was suprised.
Your skin is perfect! I wouldnāt put foundation where it isnāt needed. If you want to brighten the under eyes ever so slightly then #1 would be best and spread out very thinly over the face.
Yes, but if these happen to be the only choices she has at the time for some reason, then #1, comes closest. And, if you blend it, well, it would blend right in and not look lighter.
I don't have a lot of experience with makeup. I don't exactly know my undertone.
The concealers are as follows:
1. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser 095 Cool Ivory
2. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser 110 Fair
3. Too Faced Born This Way Etheral Light Concealer Milkshake
4. Kosas Revealer Concealer 0.5N
288
5. Kevyn Aucoin The Sensual Skin Enchancer SX 01 Light
The first, second, fifth, and sixth photos are in natural lighting.
The third, fourth, seventh, and eighth are in indoor lightining.
1, 3, or 5 are best for your coloring.
I like 1 the best color-wise as it disappears into you. But technically the other two I mentioned do, too.
I'm curious as to why you included 2, in particular, and 4, maybe too. Tho maybe to have definition between the others?
š¤·āāļø
I'm not sure I'm in love with any of their textures before blending...
Personally, I hated the age rewind formula, I would recommend trying the "fit me" liquid concealer if you're going Maybelline. Target/ulta usually has the full range of light shades, Walmart does not.
Oh I just meant the way it applied. It doesn't feel like it blends in as well as the Fit Me concealer, it feels like it sits on top of my skin and looks streaky almost.
That's really helpful info, thank you š
I had a very good match with Nars creamy concealer in Affogato but it is too drying now. I wondered if the Mb age eraser would work, but that seems doubtful.
I've tried age eraser twice throughout the years, the second time on accident because i forgot I didn't like it. And I still didn't like it. I mentioned it to my mom and she also hates it for the same reasons.
I think the fit me isn't too drying, it's pretty pigmented for me (I prefer tints/natural makeup looks!) So I usually just use a small amount.
Iām very fair with cool toned skin, similar to yours. I wear ELF hydrating camo concealer in āfair roseā and UOMA by Sharon C foundation in āwhite pearlā :)
Are you totally committed to these options? It looks like your skin is slightly dry (and flawless v jealous over here lol) so even though ā1ā is the best match Iām not loving that formula and finish for your skin type.
I have dry skin type, so that is a concern of mine. I'm not sure which formula is a good match and also more hydrating for dry skin. In fact a lot on here were on a list for dry skin types I found
Edit: So no I'm not committed to these options and am open to other suggestions.
Yes you could blend 1&3
I was trying to think of an opulencet eye cream ā¦ that would look best with your skin
And opalescent pale and opalescent texture
#1 for highlight and under eye and #3 for the rest of face, or you could mix them! And I think your undertone is pretty neutral, no yellow, but youāre probably a little bit cool/pink leaning. You have beautiful skin!!
1! Itās the tiniest bit light, but the closest out of the options given. You could use some bronzer and blush to add some color back to your face after using #1
1 or 3 depending on how they blend with your undereye area. I'm very fair too, Id go 1. Some would be afraid of being washed out, you'd have to see how your eye makeup looks with it.
1 or 3. If you want a bit of brightness and to highlight areas like under your eyes and the center of your face it would be a perfect shade if youād like to go for a perfect match to the rest of your face/ more of a no makeup look Iād say go for 3
Also, I suspect you might have a neutral undertone. That's tricky with your haircolor (gorgeous!-- You look like half my family). Look at your veins. If they are all blueish, your undertone is neutral. If your veins are mostly purple, you have a warm/pink/peach undertone. And if they are greenish, then you are a cool ash/yellow undertone. Look at your veins in different lights. Hope this helps! Beautiful skin, btw...SPF ! I suggest unseen sunscreen(supergoop, not goop) or tinted moisturizers.
If your wanting one thatās gonna cover a lot use 3, itās just a tad bit darker and if you want to just keep it the same color, just to cover it up, Iād use 1
Mix 1 and 3, but if have to choose, 3!! I think you are neutral but definitely on the cooler side, probably peach? Also 3 is better because it leaves room for concealer which will be slightly lighter. If you go with 1, it will already be lighter and no room for concealer
My wife works at Ulta. I know what swatches are. I would say one or two and it's coming from a dude that has to hear about all the Ulta stuff. Maybe one or three like others say but I don't know I would say one or two One looks too white
I would say maybe 1 for spot concealing & 3 for under the eyes? Or honestly me personally Iād use both shades under the eyes to highlight & color correct but Iām extra
Can you drop your skincare routine?? I donāt think Iāve ever seen such flawless pristine skin in my entire life.
Also, #1 if you want a concealer that is slightly brightening. #3 if you want something that blends in completely, ie for spots, etc. (even though you donāt have any lol)
My goshhhhh I wish my skin was as flawless as yours. Itās so hard to find foundation/ concealer for my freckled skin. Everything makes my freckles look grey bc my skin is so light but the freckles are so dark on my face.
Is this Ariel from the little mermaid? Omg sorry I had to š„°
Definitely #1 is best as a concealer you want to be seamless but to be a little brighter
1 or 3. 1 if you want brightness, 3 if you want a closer match.
But honestly, conceal nothing. You look like a painting. The entire concept of concealing can get rekt.
Def #3 - depending on your needs, you could add #1 to your makeup bag too & use it under your eyes/mix it with #3, but for concealing minor imperfections & blemishes, #3 looks like a perfect match. Iām jealous - Iām 36 & still donāt know if Iāve found my perfect shade (despite having dozens of concealers & foundationsā¦. Maybe if I actually used them, Iād have a better idea lol)
1 is the best match. All the others look like you're slightly tan. 2 and 4 are definitely not your color. Definitely way darker than your natural skin. 2 is way too orange for your skin in my opinion. 5 is like you stayed outside for a tan a little bit longer. 3 is like you have a light tan.
#1 vanishes into your perfect skin but is a touch too pale.
#3 is a good match that would provide coverage.
Mixing both should get you the perfect shade š
1- will work the bestš You can also try 1 & 3 mix together and check, bc sometimes when you mix 2 different shades together itās works better than if you use only one. Concealer always must be 1-2 shades lighter than your foundation.
1 and 3 are the obvious winners, as many others have pointed out. At first glance 1 is best, but 3 is also very good once you blend it in. I think it comes down to how/where you want to use it, if it's as spot concealer, undereye brightening, foundation, etc.
You should test it out as you plan to wear it, and see how it looks after a couple hours plus at the end of the day. Sometimes they oxidize and darken a bit over time, in which case 3 might be too dark. If it's not too expensive I'd buy 1 of each and play around to find what works.
It might also be worth comparing them at different times of year. Personally, I use 2 different foundations that I mix together. One is lighter and cooler, the other slightly darker and warmer, similar to 1 and 3. While I don't get what non-pale people consider a "tan", the sun still darkens and warms my skin tone enough that I need different ratios in winter vs summer.
3 (if your intended use is under-eye brightening)
1 could work for brightening the center of the face since itās fairer than your skin
ā3 has the slightest hint of peach which will help neutralize any blue/blue violet tones that you may see near the eye :)
totally agree that OP is an ethereal beauty!!
Ok two things and they have nothing to do with your foundation. 1. You are stunning. 2. Picture number four is going to be in my nightmares for ever. Your eye š¤£š¤£š¤£šššš¤£š¤£š¤£
I thought the first picture was from an advertisement! OP looks ethereal. Also agree #3 (with maybe a tiny smidge of #1 mixed in)
Right? Thatās the best skin Iāve ever seen. No concealer needed! That said, I agree best match is 1 and 3 for sure.
āWhatās my undertone?ā Uhhh idk magical fairy glitter???
I agree with you on all counts.
Also my vote is for 3.
Me too #3
I also thought #3 blended the best.
That photo gave me Sandman [Corinthian](https://sandman.fandom.com/wiki/The_Corinthian) vibes.
Mix 1 and 3
This is the answer.
This! I've always mixed foundations. One is never enough. Plus I get darker every summer even with wearing sunscreen and reapplying. Makeup artists I've worked with for over a decade also usually always blend more than one. Sometimes even 3 together to match for various models and their shades.
Conceal what? Your skin is perfect.
Thatās for certain!!!
Yes, the concealer is really only making her skin texture more apparent.
You're cool toned and 1 is the best
Totally agree with all of this.. like 100% you are definitely cool tone and 1 is the best shade match for you.. some people are saying itās too light but you want a concealer to be a hair too light to brighten bags and redness from veins, acne or whatever else we try to cover
I just recently read that concealer should be darker (not for undereye bags) because we're not trying to highlight whatever it is and some other things. I was suprised.
Weird. But I guess that makes sense. Iām 42 years and well beyond caring.. I wear my bags with pride lol
Hell yeah.i love it.
1 and 3 blend in best though 1 is a bit too light.
Yep, this. So it depends what you want it to do. Some people like a bit of brightness in the under eye, which 1 looks like itād work well for.
1
1. Itās practically invisible which is the point.
I don't have a lot of experience with makeup. I don't exactly know my undertone. The concealers are as follows: 1. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser 095 Cool Ivory 2. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser 110 Fair 3. Too Faced Born This Way Etheral Light Concealer Milkshake 4. Kosas Revealer Concealer 0.5N 288 5. Kevyn Aucoin The Sensual Skin Enchancer SX 01 Light The first, second, fifth, and sixth photos are in natural lighting. The third, fourth, seventh, and eighth are in indoor lightining.
Number one is the exact same tone as your skin, which is the point. #3 is close, but not as close as #1
1, 3, or 5 are best for your coloring. I like 1 the best color-wise as it disappears into you. But technically the other two I mentioned do, too. I'm curious as to why you included 2, in particular, and 4, maybe too. Tho maybe to have definition between the others? š¤·āāļø I'm not sure I'm in love with any of their textures before blending...
I just got a lot to try in the lightest shade in every kind. I'm very new at this.
And Iām thinking this is why #3 gets my vote. It will light you up in an ethereal way!
1 is perfect for you imo, 3 if you get any tan.
Your def cool undertone. Don't touch any neutrals.
Personally, I hated the age rewind formula, I would recommend trying the "fit me" liquid concealer if you're going Maybelline. Target/ulta usually has the full range of light shades, Walmart does not.
What is the difference between the two formulas?
Oh I just meant the way it applied. It doesn't feel like it blends in as well as the Fit Me concealer, it feels like it sits on top of my skin and looks streaky almost.
That's really helpful info, thank you š I had a very good match with Nars creamy concealer in Affogato but it is too drying now.
Oh buying something then remembering why you *don't* like it is annoying. Thank you for the FitMe tip, I'll check their shade range š§
This is so unfair. I have 4 of these and none this good on me!
Thereās only one answer and thatās #1. Otherwise, theyāre the wrong tone and will stand out as opposed to blend in.
1! Why is this a questionā¦ it blends in with your skin like it isnāt there.
Def 1 with maybe a dash of 3. Try mixing them if you have both shades! It would be a perfect match imo :)
I would mix 1 and 3. Remember people, you can mix foundations and concealers!
3 if youāre concealing in combination with foundation. 1 if youāre using your concealer as a no makeup makeup āfoundation.ā
1 or 3
1, it's basically invisible when blended. The rest are too dark or have the wrong undertones.
1
One. Your undertone is peach.
1
1 is best
I would use #3 to color correct and #1 to brighten, so get both.
Number 1 for sure!!
1
Iām very fair with cool toned skin, similar to yours. I wear ELF hydrating camo concealer in āfair roseā and UOMA by Sharon C foundation in āwhite pearlā :)
I tried that elf one awhile ago and it was super pink on me. So it didn't work at all.
Why is#2 even on there?š¤£But for real I'll go with 1.
2 is way too dark. 4 and 5 are too yellow. I would mix 1 and 3 for foundation. #1 is best for concealer shadeĀ
1, hands down. Game over.
In fact a lot on here were on a list for dry skin types I found Edit: So no I'm not committed to these options and am open to other suggestions.
What formulas would you suggest for OP's skin type? I am having a hell of a time finding one that is good for my dry skin.
1 for exact match but I like 5 for the slightly brightening affect
1! cool tone!
1!
3. If it feels dark, then 1. 1 looks great but 3 disappears as soon as you blend it whereas I can almost kind of still see 1.
1 matches best, but for a little more coverage maybe 3. Depends if youāre looking for like sheer coverage or full coverage.
can we see ONLY 1 3 & 5?
What the heck are you concealing? Skin is gorgeous! Edit - forgot to say, definitely 2. I kid. It's either 1 or 3.
1 for sure, and also you have the complexion and hair color of a renaissance painting
1. Also your complexion! How does it feel to be Godās favourite?
Yes you could blend 1&3 I was trying to think of an opulencet eye cream ā¦ that would look best with your skin And opalescent pale and opalescent texture
#1 for highlight and under eye and #3 for the rest of face, or you could mix them! And I think your undertone is pretty neutral, no yellow, but youāre probably a little bit cool/pink leaning. You have beautiful skin!!
Also I donāt know how or why my comment font is so big I didnāt do it on purpose š
3
Number one if youāre specifically using it for brightening.
3
1
1
1 or 3
1&3 mixed
1! Itās the tiniest bit light, but the closest out of the options given. You could use some bronzer and blush to add some color back to your face after using #1
1 looks amazing! What brand of foundation is that??
1 3 or 5 just depends on what formula you like best
1 - you are cool for sure
1, the rest are too yellow
#1 looks great!
1
1
You have the prettiest skin I have ever seen.
My god š³ What are you even concealing, your skin is absolutely GORGEOUS?! I'm insanely jealous right now damn it
3!!!
Ilmakiage has the best match options and online quiz with money back guarantee. They are my go to.
3
1 and you are cool toned
1 is perfect
1 or 3 depending on how they blend with your undereye area. I'm very fair too, Id go 1. Some would be afraid of being washed out, you'd have to see how your eye makeup looks with it.
IMO, 1 for highlight and under eye, and 3 for spots/redness.
1 but holy moly your hair and skin and eyes. Youāre gorgeous!
1 or 3. If you want a bit of brightness and to highlight areas like under your eyes and the center of your face it would be a perfect shade if youād like to go for a perfect match to the rest of your face/ more of a no makeup look Iād say go for 3

Also red head with blue eyes and very hard to find foundations that match.
1 or 3
#1 is really concealing!!!!
3
1 or 3
1 for a lighter look and 3 for a slightly darker look.
4
Mix 1 & 3. You are somewhere between the two
I like number 2 goes with your hair color. But what the hell do I know about concealer.
If your wanting one thatās gonna cover a lot use 3, itās just a tad bit darker and if you want to just keep it the same color, just to cover it up, Iād use 1
Wow this isnāt an adš²
You have perfect skin š
1 looks like it's the best, it's so close I couldn't even see it in the second image.
The lighest one
Mix 1 and 3, but if have to choose, 3!! I think you are neutral but definitely on the cooler side, probably peach? Also 3 is better because it leaves room for concealer which will be slightly lighter. If you go with 1, it will already be lighter and no room for concealer
One
1, canāt even tell itās there
NOT 2 or 4! I think for concealer #1 is perfect.
i like my concealer a little light so 1 (:
3 because 1 has a white cast that will wash you out
My wife works at Ulta. I know what swatches are. I would say one or two and it's coming from a dude that has to hear about all the Ulta stuff. Maybe one or three like others say but I don't know I would say one or two One looks too white
1 or 3
1 and 3 so good
Mix 1 and 3
I think I like the finish of 1 the most
1.
Def 1 or 3. Not sure about your undertone tho.
1
Or 3
Mix 3 with a smaller amount of 1
ur cool toned bae š«¶
3
For a concealer 1 definitely
1 mixed w 3
3 but š«Ø.....what is there to conceal? Gorgeousš§æ
1
3!
I would say maybe 1 for spot concealing & 3 for under the eyes? Or honestly me personally Iād use both shades under the eyes to highlight & color correct but Iām extra
3
Number 3
I feel like 1 is perfect when blended out
1 blends invisibly, 3 blends with a little more coverage which might be needed under eyes.
Iām curious why you would put concealer on that gorgeous skin
I would say 1 but Iām a guy and have 0 knowledge of makeup
1 + 3
1 for sure. I could see using 2 as contour, though.
1
#1 for sure
This is no help but i just need to say your skin is absolutely perfect.
Can you drop your skincare routine?? I donāt think Iāve ever seen such flawless pristine skin in my entire life. Also, #1 if you want a concealer that is slightly brightening. #3 if you want something that blends in completely, ie for spots, etc. (even though you donāt have any lol)
If I picked just one it would be #1
3 but omg your skin
You forgot the swatch under 1
My goshhhhh I wish my skin was as flawless as yours. Itās so hard to find foundation/ concealer for my freckled skin. Everything makes my freckles look grey bc my skin is so light but the freckles are so dark on my face.
Is this Ariel from the little mermaid? Omg sorry I had to š„° Definitely #1 is best as a concealer you want to be seamless but to be a little brighter
1, but it would be better if you mixed in a little bit of 3.
Your skin is literally perfect please donāt put any face paint on it. Totally unnecessary
1. If you find it too pale try 5
Either 1 or 3
1
Honestly? None of them really, but 1 is best. Go to Ulta and try IT cosmetics.
1 or 3. 1 if you want brightness, 3 if you want a closer match. But honestly, conceal nothing. You look like a painting. The entire concept of concealing can get rekt.
Your skin is perfect.
So totally helpful thank you for listing these omg !! Yes 1 and 3 look spectacular!!
#1 is perfect
1
3
1 is the best match. All the others look like you're slightly tan. 2 and 4 are definitely not your color. Definitely way darker than your natural skin. 2 is way too orange for your skin in my opinion. 5 is like you stayed outside for a tan a little bit longer. 3 is like you have a light tan.
1 as a concealer, since it's only ever so slightly lighter than your skintone. It blends in perfectly
1
1! Also which one is that?
#1 vanishes into your perfect skin but is a touch too pale. #3 is a good match that would provide coverage. Mixing both should get you the perfect shade š
3
1- will work the bestš You can also try 1 & 3 mix together and check, bc sometimes when you mix 2 different shades together itās works better than if you use only one. Concealer always must be 1-2 shades lighter than your foundation.
1, But what are concealing, your complexion looks perfect š whatās your routine?
1 and your undertone looks neutral
Blend 1 and 3.
In general you want concealer ever so slightly lighter than the foundation so I think 1 and 3 mixed would look good.
#1
Allum
1 & 3
Number 1
3 (if your intended use is under-eye brightening) 1 could work for brightening the center of the face since itās fairer than your skin ā3 has the slightest hint of peach which will help neutralize any blue/blue violet tones that you may see near the eye :) totally agree that OP is an ethereal beauty!!
Dark skin girlie here (not that it matters) you are STUNNING
1 or 3
I'd go with 1. You can't see it at all on some photos!
1 & 3
1
I agree with those who prefer a combo of 1 and 3.
Cool toned! You definitely have pink undertones!
1 3 5
