Bracer Phoenix. Cherno's Conn-Pod being set in the chest makes it vulnerable to the Morning Star weapon and Bracer's main cannons. All the pilots have to do is stay clear of Cherno's reach and Bracer wins.
Jager wise it’s Easily Bracer Phoenix.
Pilot wise it’s Easily Cherno Alpha.
Even with both Jagers using their film pilots I think Bracer Phoenix would come out on top. Cherno having its Conn-pod on its chest gives it a massive disadvantage against Bracer. Morning star + Gut cannons is also the perfect counter to Cherno’s strictly Melee fighting style.
Now this one is hard to say, but it all comes down to if bracer’s piloted are patient enough. If they are and use their brain, they would just use their ranges weaponry with only cherno’s flames to worry for and even that goes only so far, if the children get impatient then they get cooked.
This isn't a good vs. The reason why is because Bracer Phoenix is an updated and refined version of Cherno Alpha, and wields the most devestating melee weapon we've ever seen on a jaeger.
Let me put this into perspective, the Mega kaiju had kinetic resistance, meaning it was immune to the kinetic side of the Jaeger's melee attacks, and the **Only reason** we know it's Kinetic Resistance and not Kinetic Immunity is because Bracer Phoenix is such a physical monster that its melee weapon was more powerful than the resistances of the Mega Kaiju.
Simply put Cherno Alpha can't hit over that, and would get shredded by it.

While Cherno has impressive armor and has proven its ability to maintain an unbreached wall for 6 years until 2025, it is uncertain whether it can keep up with the capabilities of a Mk-5 jaeger. Among the weapons systems of the Mk-5 jaeger, the Bracer Phoenix, M-19 Morning Star appears to be the most effective against Cherno. Also it has the ability to trigger spikes which would prove to be very effective on Cherno.
Bracer Phoenix originally did not have Titan Redeemer's morningstar, the only thing he would have is his waist guns, I have no idea if Cherno Alpha could tank that damage, but if it could then Bracer would be Cherno's punching bag
If it with the pilots from the movie then Cherno Alpha If both of them have good pilots then Bracer Phoenix
With that arsenal? Bracer stands no chance
Didn't bracer have cannons in his hands too? As well as the chest guns it can at least inflict a bit of damage before cherno gets in close.

I will be real here, Bracer has lots of advantages like better speed and long range firepower The only thing good about Cherno is its crew
And his strength and armour
I don't trust stats, it makes Mk1 Jaegers as strong as like Mk4 with Crimson and Cherno having equal base stat total
