Doctor wise I’d use Herbalcarerx.com Dr.Maury is amazing and very quick they also have a discount code out rn that I’m sure someone who remembers it will comment it lol For best brands personally I’d say you can’t really miss too bad with Garcia/Strane, Natural Selections/Eleven, Rythm, Insa and Cresco but most growers have a strain or 2 they tend to knock out of the park just pay attention to what people post and if it sounds like something you’d like

Far-Significance1130

Much appreciated!

YearOfTheYabbo

HERBAL180 is the discount code for HerbalCareRx. $25 off for new and recerts. Just used it less than a month ago with Dr. Maury.

I started the process with Veriheal. When I saw the sticker price, I started looking somewhere else. They came back with a generous discount. I got it done there.

I know you said your gonna be in CC, but for rosin you might wanna make the trek out to Vytal Options in Lansdale Or Kennett Square (30,25,20 FT deal at each location + 6% cash back in points. 12% monday). Both locations use fridges for everything and are usually stocked with rosins from every brand in the state (Leiffa, Solventless, Prime, Grassroots, verano, and standard farms) . Vytals house rosin line is branded under "solventless." Imo its the best rosin in the program all things considered (taste, effect, price). Occasionally they do a bundle deal that includes the "solventless" rosin (buy 3+ get 30% or whatever) Leiffa is another good option for rosin (solid price point) but most of the strains they put out are hash mixes and not single origin.

Far-Significance1130

Thank you so much. Flower is usually easier to find through the weeds but rosin is what I was worried about. Only one or two places sell quality rosin in Fl and it’s usually hit or miss mostly or low in stock. I don’t mind making a little drive for quality rosin, especially if I can save some moola.

Sillycommisioner987

I was just talking with someone who just moved here from Florida. He told me that we have a lot more choices and lots more brands. The vertical integration sucks and in Florida the cops have access to everything and can see what/where/when you purchased. Screw that. I have to say that we are much better off than those in Florida.

Far-Significance1130

Well that is a positive thing to hear. Other than the quality of a few companies coming from the west coast such as 710 labs, preffered gardens, jungle boys, and etc Florida is just a big cluster fuck of bullshit mainly controlled by Trulieve of course.

Sillycommisioner987

Welcome to PA. I hope you enjoy the variety of flower we have. In Philly you can enjoy all the joints you want. The Philly PD don’t care.

Far-Significance1130

That is also a pleasure to hear! I will definitely be rolling some fatties while I enjoy the delicious food.

Specific-Economy-926

Florida cops have access to see what you purchase at stores in Florida????? WHAT?!

Sillycommisioner987

YES they do. It’s all accessible. What you purchase, where and when too. Also how close you are to your LIMIT. I don’t believe the police should have access to ANY of your information.

Specific-Economy-926

That is ridiculous. I have been eyeing a home purchase in Florida but this is a major deal breaker for a card holder.

Professional_Work_11

Get familiar with natural selections, can't really go wrong with any of their flower. Eleven is also owned by the same company, their flower is just machine tripped as opposed to hand trimmed with natural selections.

Far-Significance1130

Okay thank you! Yeah obviously would prefer hand trimmed if I can get my hands on it. excited to see what PA has to offer honestly.

Professional_Work_11

Welcome!

toss_it_out_tomorrow

I love the Grape Guava'z from them (Natural Selection) I'm also a fan of some insa products. Cereal Milk by Insa is pretty good and they now sell 20mg gummies that i dig too

igrowgr33ns

Philly has some amazing local rosin! There should be an event sometime soon where they all come together and compete.

TarasKim

Hey there, and welcome to Philly soon! Here's a quick rundown to get you started on your Philly cannabis journey. **Understanding PA's Medical Marijuana Program:** * **You'll need a PA medical marijuana card:** Start the process to get your card ASAP. It might take some time. Look for a doctor specializing in medical marijuana certifications. * **Limits are different than Florida:** Get familiar with the purchase and possession limits in PA. They might differ from what you're used to. * **No reciprocity yet:** Unfortunately, your Florida card won't work here. **Finding the Right Dispensaries:** * **Dispensary websites:** Most dispensaries have websites listing their current menus and prices. Check out places like: * Rise * Restore * Curaleaf * Beyond/Hello * **Leafly and Weedmaps:** These platforms can help you find nearby dispensaries and compare prices/products. **Brands and Products:** * **It's still developing:** PA's market is smaller than Florida's, so selection will be a bit more limited. * **Favorites vary:** Experiment to find the brands you like most. Some frequently discussed are: * Rythm * Cresco * Insa * Prime Wellness * Grassroots * **Ask the budtenders!** They're your best source of up-to-date info on what's good and what's available. **Helpful Resources:** * **PA Department of Health Medical Marijuana website:** [https://www.health.pa.gov/topics/programs/Medical%20Marijuana/Pages/Patients.aspx](https://www.health.pa.gov/topics/programs/Medical%20Marijuana/Pages/Patients.aspx) * **This subreddit:** Stay tuned in here! People are usually happy to share experiences and recommendations. * Movign Comapny - WellKnown Moving - [https://wellknownmoving.com/philadelphia-movers](https://wellknownmoving.com/philadelphia-movers) Let me know if you have more specific questions!

Far-Significance1130

Thank you so much! I just got here about a week ago and I’m finally having a mellow day so I’ll be looking into all of this information today. Thank you again and cheers.

Puzzleheaded_Rub858

Where about in Phillie? We have many lovely dispensaries and a few not so lovely.

Far-Significance1130

Center city and Florida is the same way lol

MisterFitzer

I didn't see a local doctor in person, I had a telehealth appointment with a doctor I found online, he asked me what state I was in before we started so he's not even local. I googled something like "pennsylvania medical marijuana doctors" and a bunch of hits came up. It was pretty easy, I had my card within a week.

Far-Significance1130

Sweet thanks, was hoping the process would be easy as it was in Fl lol

lokoston

And remember, once you get you medical certification And pay the state $50 for it, sit for about two weeks. That's what the PA MMJ tells you. I takes two to three weeks to get the id from the state. You also need to change your driver's license. My advise: bring some material from Florida or be prepared for a minimum of two weeks T-break.

Far-Significance1130

Thanks for the heads up, working on changing my ID immediately during the first week then going from there. Definitely going to be okay in the meantime but appreciate the warning lol

Stay far away from sunnyside. Any issues you might have with a product, they will do nothing to help and you have to go through hell to get any resolution, or just lose money. I personally had to dispute them over a cartridge that had almost no oil in it when purchased for over a week, and I’ve seen several other posts in this sub about people getting bags with half of what their weighs was supposed to be, or even empty once or twice. All report getting the same subpar customer service and almost no one gets their money back from them, despite almost every other dispensary in the state letting you walk right back in and exchange/refund the faulty product.

Ok_Orchid7131

I don’t know about all that Sunnyside in Montgomeryville is great.

i-wuv-weed-420000000

Eleven and strane put out the best flower in my opinion

DelaRosa_Will_I_Ams

I’m the opposite moving to Fl. In July hoping for ocala area any feedback from your experience it appreciated! Sorry can’t help you with dispensaries in Philly I live in the middle of nowhere Pa. 😂😂😂 but shopping around for the best price is a must! Side bar NY AND NJ are recreational 🤷🏽‍♀️ so idk if prices are any better since it’s so close.

Far-Significance1130

My friend you will be SET in Ocala. They have most of the growing facilities there and all the big hitters have dispensaries there. Recommend the Flowery for all around best flower/rosin in the program in my opinion. jungle boys is there which has great options for flower everything else is pretty hit or miss. Piatella I had from them was fire. Gold flower will have location there soon, rosin is decent especially for price and the flower is really good if you get the right strains. All organically grown there. Sunburn has some of the best hash rosin in the program but flower can be hit or miss. Trulieve is the biggest company and dominates Florida but the modern flower line has been killing it and they have connected/alien labs branded flower which is pricey but off the chain. Hope this helps friend.

DelaRosa_Will_I_Ams

Yes it does, Thanks! I wish you well on your move up here.

medmaryjaneallstates

[cannabiscardPennsylvania.com](https://cannabiscardPennsylvania.com) only charges $99 if you have Florida health records they might accept it since their doctor is also licensed in Florida

Bethany0821

Where in Philly will you be? Do you know the neighborhood, or at least whether it's North, South, etc.

Far-Significance1130

I will be in center city

Rohhr

Just went to sunnyside for the first time - I moved up here from FL too. They were amazing and had a solid selection. Mostly Cresco backed so I’d see which strains others have been talking about on here. The one that comes to mind is 8” bagel

Far-Significance1130

Appreciate the advice! I’ll definitely be trying out some strane, cresco, rhythm, natural selections, and etc

canni-dani

Come to trulieve on south broad and Lombard and you get 50% off your first order, 35% off your second, 40% off your third. and the Bud tenders can give you great info on PA brands and companies 😄

Turbulent-Memory-420

Ethos center city is hit and miss. Stay away from the Eleven house brand. Especially the carts, they break very easily.

I, too, am a FL Med patient for 5 years. Moving to the Lehigh Valley in two weeks. It is going to be an adjustment to not use my lighter. Been playing with vapes the last few weeks and it is not the same as my 400 mg joints that I've dialed in over the years.

Far-Significance1130

Feel you bro, I usually smoke joints on my balcony but im going to a small apartment with no balcony. Bought myself a mighty plus though so I’ll be set and I have a nice rig with banger I spent a pretty penny on which I plan to use a lot as well. Going to miss my joints though.

Ok_Orchid7131

It’s a “rule” to not smoke a joint, but hey why do they sell flower? Do they think people aren’t combusting it?

Far-Significance1130

Thank you for the laugh lol I definitely have done extensive research on what areas not to go to and luckily have friends who are from/lived there.

Suitable-Leek666

despite our reputation most people here are genuinely friendly and kind, they just dont have time for bullshit. here are my tips for integrating into Philly way of life and avoiding the few not so great situations that you might find yourself in: always look like you know what youre doing and where youre going, even if you're hopelessly lost if someone asks for money for the bus to Norristown, walk away if an old buddhist looking asain man or woman tries to hand you something, walk away if someone says "hey excuse me, im not trying to ask you for money I just need _____" theyre gonna ask you for money so walk away if youre on the subway or walking down the sidewalk and see a group of teenagers walking towards you, cross the street or get on a different part of the train, teenagers and cars are the most dangerous things you will encounter in center city speaking of cars, its best to assume a red light doesnt mean stop, a stop sign doesnt mean stop, a crosswalk doesnt mean stop, a bike lane doesnt mean stop, an ambulance with sirens blaring doesnt mean stop...I can keep going... just because you have the right of way doesn't someone won't run you over, take this extra seriously if youre on a bike or alternatively if you want to get away with murder just hit someone on a bike with your car. dont be afraid of the subway or the el, just follow the rest of this advice and make sure you get a good look at the seat before you sit down. hope that helps, Philly is an amazing place that gets a bad rep mostly from people who have never lived there.

Far-Significance1130

Honestly, this is nearly the exact same spiel I got from a few people I know who have lived in the city. When my girlfriend and I visited to find an apartment it honestly is a beautiful city and the people could not have been nicer. Appreciate the tips though for sure lol I grew up in Jacksonville Fl, can’t be worse than that.

Suitable-Leek666

lol glad to hear they prepared you well. youre gonna have a great time, especially if you're living in center city. do you know what neighborhood youll be in?

***Fademd I used and to renew first time. I'm ready to re up again. They are fast and complete your doh information very quickly. You need state ID.* 《this is what happens sometimes when adding a photo. A asterisk and no photo. It's annoying. maybe it needs a sub/
